There's a small, private side balcony with a grill for barbecuing plus a common balcony off the living area, which offers incredible ocean views. Plusfree wireless internet. One of our finest villas! Only 4 steps to the road and a total of 990 SF. H892 | | Rental of a vacation home in Hamilton Cove includes use of the community’s amenities (pool, spa, health club, 18-hole putting course, tennis courts, croquet court, sand volleyball court and beach area with built in barbecues and picnic tables). Some restrictions may apply. Occupants subject to Hamilton Cove Homeowners Association Rules & Regulations. | | This vacation home rents on a nightly basis (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted; 3 night minimum July & August). ----- This property is in a residential community and is only suitable for quieter groups. NO smoking, NO parties/events. NO pets allowed per HOA rules. You must be 25+ years old to rent this property. No daytime visitors allowed. So much to love!

This place was better than expected. I liked being close to town but not in town. The views were beautiful, and having a golf cart was so much fun to cruise around in. Will definitely be back!

Great place - easy access

Great location. Only 3 steps to navigate. Golf cart was a bit temperamental. Overall very convenient for weary legs after the Catalina marathon. Well appointed kitchen. We will return!

Great View

View was great! Just a short golf cart ride to townWe are divers and there was plenty of space on the patio to dry our gear. Having a gas grill made for easy/quick dinners. Only issue was that they didn’t notify us when the unit was ready. We had to call them to find out

July 2018 Stay

Our stay was wonderful. Our room was great, with a wonderful view of the ocean. If I have any complaints it would be the sofa bed in the living room. The metal bar was very uncomfortable for my son and his wife. Also there was no propane for the BBQ. The only reason I didn’t call and ask for some, was the burners were so badly caked with grease and charred food, that I seriously didn’t think It would work, even with propane. Can’t wait for next year and am Looking forward to these few corrections😊👍🏻😊

Junky Golf Cart

Great condo! Clean, well stocked, quiet, and views to die for. Minor problem: listing has no mention of stairs. There are two sets of two stairs each. The scary ones were between bed and bath. Very bad if not used to using stairs when half asleep. Worse problem was that g cart was old and uncared for. Carbon dioxide filled seat areas, transmission was in terrible shape. Weather cover was tattered and torn. It was loud and gas petal was wonky.

Avalon Stay

The toilet ran off and on during the night disturbing the sleep of both of us. The TV’s either didn’t work or never gave us basis channels. The TV in the bedroom was not connected to the cable. The golf cart ran rough and had trouble running constantly. We were told by the maintenance person just turn off the water on the toilet. For the money I spent on the property I excepted better.

Lovely Stay!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience on this property - it was extremely clean and had a gorgeous view from the deck. Also equipped with games, movies, and equipment for cooking a meal. Golf cart also made the ventures into town very easy. Only complaint was loud neighbors one morning on the deck next door at 7am. Outside of that it was the absolute perfect place for a quiet weekend getaway on Catalina Island.

An Ocean Oasis

We had an amazing time looking at the magnificent views and enjoying the incredibly comfortable property. Loved the location right next to the pool/gym and being able to hear the ocean all day and night was exactly what we needed.

Location is perfect! Gorgeous views and large balcony are the perfect spot to catch the sunrise and enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. Unit was clean and overall very comfortable for our family of 2 plus a 17month old. We will definitely be requesting this unit for our next stay This is an honest review. We received credit for a late check out.

Awesome View! Private and Relaxing.

This unit is our favorite Hamilton Cove condo. My wife and I live in Long Beach just a short boat ride away so we try to get over to Catalina three or four times a year. Although the island is close to home it definitely has a more relaxed atmosphere and feel to it. Great for extended weekend trips. Hamilton Cove itself is outside of town and is a gated community so it’s not so touristy busy. In fact, in the off-season is downright quiet. It’s built into the hillside and is like Mediterranean villas. We have stayed in a number of the other Hamilton Cove condos, but we always try to come back to this one. The view is breathtaking, not to high up and not too low down. You can see the ocean from every room. There are two French double doors from the living room and the alcove that go out onto the balcony. There is also a door from the master bedroom that leads out to the balcony. We always throw open all the doors as soon as we arrive so the balcony becomes part of living space. This condo is an end unit and we very rarely ever see anybody on the balcony next to it, so it has a very private feel even with all the doors open. Also, as an end unit there is a second small private patio (with a barbecue). This one has a fireplace which we didn’t get in most of the other condos. We noticed that the kitchen appliances and living room furniture were recently upgraded. The kitchen is outfitted well for cooking. One of the best things about this unit is the number of stairs. Hamilton Cove doesn’t have elevators. Some of the condos are literally 100 stairs away from the road. Carrying luggage and groceries up or down 100 stairs gets old fast. This unit only has four stairs (4!) to the road and is only about 20 yards to where the golf cart is parked. The golf cart use is included in the rental. This unit’s golf cart is much newer than most and even has a car stereo in it. It seats four so the trips to and from town are pretty comfortable.
