I appreciated the fact that the crib was already prepared for my son when we arrived. He fell asleep in the taxi so Î’ve been able to transfer him right away in his bed. However, i would have appreciated to have an oven and the cooking table had 2 defective element.

The accessibility, communication with staff and public transportation was great. Also, there were restaurants and cafe's nearby, grocery stores, and a pharmacy. It was a quiet area and overall amenities were very good.

Very well designed studio apartment (could have slept a lot more than the three of us) that have everything we needed. It was well kept and suited us very well. Tall ceilings let in a lot of light and clever use of a mezzanine to create space for three comfortable beds (but did wonder if sleeping up there would be comfortable on a hot summer jight)

I would actually give this place a 3.5 rating. It was better than ok. The property itself was nicely laid out. It was centrally located (4 minute walk to grocery store), bus stop right out front. Free lockers were very helpful. Our issue had to do with problems in the room. The door to the main bedroom wouldn't close (there was an open shower which couldn't be used due to lack of privacy). The stove top didn’t work. The large window in the living space wouldn't close properly, letting in a draught and rattling throughout the night during a storm. Lastly the main bathroom sink had an extremely slow drain. These are all maintenance issues, which could have been sorted before our arrival.

Nice modern hotel

The studio room was very comfortable for two people. The hotel was easily accessible by public transportation. Although all communication with the hotel was electronic, it was very good. The worst part of the stay was that the elevator was out of order and we had to carry our luggage up and down two flights of stairs with open risers, which was a bit tricky. I might not recommend this hotel if you have accessibility needs.

Our stay here was ok. Was a very nice view from window and convenient to have a kitchen. Staff was really lovely. However overall it is too overpriced for what you get (not really a 4 star hotel, not super clean, etc). Biggest problem for us was that the Wifi did not work at all on the second floor of the "loft" which is where the bedroom is, so we could only use internet in the kitchen.

The Yay's apartment was a really good stay. It was one of our favorites. Shoutouts to Emily and Mario for making the stay so enjoyable and so easy to communicate with. The location of the apartments is also great as it is still walkable to the rest of the city. Approximately 30 mins to Amsterdam Central Station and about a 10 min bus ride. Street parking is super easy as well. I rent a car for two days and was able to find parking directly across the street from the apartments. Bonus points for having a laundry facility.

The hotel itself was fairly clean but no housekeeping during the day. Easy to take a bus to from Centraal station, and to get to the main shopping areas. No luggage storage for early and late checkout as well so you will have to use the providers that they recommended. Otherwise communication thru WhatsApp is 24/7 and very helpful. The lift broke down and we had to carry our luggage up 2 floors. Free coffee machine downstairs (was not working while we stayed).

The room wasn't the cleanest, soiled couch/carpeting, lighting. Uncomfortable sofa sleeper mattress, sleeping on the couch was better. Maintenance- broken electric outlet in kitchen, broken toilet paper holder, hole in tile in bathroom that looks like an old electrical outlet, one window didn't open. Expensive and felt more like being in a hostel.

The elevator was out of order during the stay. Apparently the elevator has been broken for several weeks and there’s no signs of window will be repaired. The property did not notify us that the elevator would not be working. We have many bags and getting them to the second floor was a chore We company about the elevator and they said they would get back to us. We heard nothing. We liked the location in the accommodations. Do not stay there again, though due to lack of communication about the elevator.

This is a fantastic accommodation option especially for those who are looking for more space in a city that sells it at a premium. We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children under the age of 6) and the family room was brilliant for us. Incredibly spacious, room to unpack, a pretty much full kitchen, well equipped kitchen, lots of natural light with blackout shades, air conditioning (not in all rooms) and so much space (coffee table and chair, dining table with 4 seats, full size bed and full size sleeper sofa). The online check-in is really simple. We got everything we needed to access the property and our apartment in a very timely manner and with the few issues we had, they were incredibly responsive via whatsapp. I also loved that they had an "Essentials Closet" in the laundry room where you could get extra toilet paper, kitchen towel, towels and linens 24 hours a day. The property is also in a really good location - less than 20 minutes walk to Amsterdam Centraal and less than 5 minutes walk to the grocery story, bus and tram stops. The only negatives - we and our family staying next door had issues with our dishwasher, ours was resolved after a few days and they were responsive and helpful throughout; the fire alarm went off twice during our 4 night stay, both times in the morning with people cooking breakfast; although the apartment was superficially clean, the whole apartment could have done with a deep clean. Will stay again for sure!
