Ideal for a family stay. There are many restaurants and a supermarket right next door, and it's a short walk into the centre via the main shopping street or along the coastline. We highly recommend.

Good location, looks like just remodeled ，looks like new, but little dusty, but they have big kitchen, I am very happy that, we can cook myself good food, when I come back into town, I like to be stay this apartment hotel again.

I reserved 3 rooms reserves. One of the room was not clean when we came in. The owner answers our call and came to clean the apartment within 45 min of our call. We had no other issues.

Hlemmur Suites was a great place to stay, highly recommend. Check in was easy (and keyless so one less thing to worry about when out and about) and the location was great as it was a short walk to the Main Street with bars and shops, as well as walkable to most attractions and tour pick up points. The lack of parking wasn’t ideal, but there was a street about a 5 min walk away with free parking which we were always able to get a space on so that was fine. The property was spacious, modern, well equipped and clean, with good views of the sea. We stayed here for 4 nights and felt very comfortable and safe.

My family and I were over the moon with the Hlemmur Suites!! Third time in Reykjavik, Iceland and this was by far the best place we stayed at. The amenities were spot on and just what we needed for a group of 5. We absolutely loved everything!! Management team was top tier!! Every question answered very timely!! We will always come back to Hlemmur Suites!!!

Great property. A lot of shopping and dining options around. Very well maintained. Parking is a bit of walk from the unit. There is no area to drop off luggage due to construction.

Our apartment was well equipped (with plenty of cooking utensils for our short stay), clean and modern. It was a good size for the 3 of us, had comfortable beds, was a good temperature and we had a view of the sea! Check-in was super easy with a keypad code to get in the building, the lift and the door of the apartment. Great location for catching the tour buses from stop #9 and easy to walk down the main shopping street for places to eat, the Bonus supermarket and bars etc. The main advantage was the closeness to the Hlemmur Foodhall which had a great selection of dining options. My only comments are that more hooks are needed for coats and more hangers in the bedroom and a toaster/ kettle would be good for us Brits, but otherwise, we had a great 4 night stay!!

Great location & comfort, lacking in necessities.

Very nice location at end of shopping district. Loved having space to spread out and 3 bedrooms was fantastic. Bathroom was very spacious. Only problem we had was limited toilet paper, and when we called to ask for more (1.5 rolls for 5 people with 4 nights stay), they advised would be dropped off next morning… and none was ever dropped off. Thankfully convenience store across street had for highly inflated price.

It was better than I expected. the condition of the property was better than the pictures. Only complaint was I wish they could have left 4 towels instead of two. The facility was EXTREMELY clean. The refrigerator and freezer were standard size. plenty of room. A full set of dishes and cookware were in the suite. Excellent. I would stay there again!!!!

Great studio apartment, lousy guest services.

The apartment interior is new. It is a very stylish studio with all black kitchen cabinets & fittings. The bathroom is well appointed and efficient. Guest services were not flexible and a bit rude. The accommodations were very good, customer service not so much.

The location is ideal for exploring downtown Reykjavik. It´s located on a square called Hlemmur that is on the main shopping / walking street in downtown Reykjavik called Laugavegur. There are restaurants all around the apartment hotel and a supermarket across the street. There is also great burger place and a bar on the groundfloor. Everything was perfect, it´s brand new and clearly designed as more luxurious than I thought. I wished I had booked an apartment with ocean view and balcony. I will surely do that next time.

Very clean and comfortable. A great setup for light cooking, and there was a washing machine although we didn't need it. Both the bed and sofa bed were very comfortable. We had no problems with check in. There were no linens to make up the sofa bed when we got there, but I sent them a message and they sent them over within an hour. If you are planning to use a sofa bed, tell them in advance. We had two occupants and the hotel assumed we didn't need the second bed and didn't provide linens. It was bare bones - things like no extra towels, and only enough coffee pods and tea bags for each occupant to have one cup. But for a great location, clean, and quiet, it was great and I would stay again

4/5 Cleanliness - Generally very clean and tidy, but some of the cookwares had leftovers. 3/5 Communication - Contactless throughout, emails from the guesthouse provided all necessary info before you checked in. Communication was efficient but no service provided effectively. We couldn’t find the on-site manager in our 8-day stay. 4/5 Room Condition - Very nice. New. Some mechanics noise from time to time. 5/5 Location - Perfect location. Popular day tour gathering points and public bus stops nearby (2mins walk), restaurants of different prices and a 24/7 convenient store just downstairs, safe, just 5-10mins walk to the rainbow street & church.

Hlemmur is a very neat, clean and newly remodeled modern suite. It is self service, meaning there is no lobby to check in. You will receive access codes online, so make sure you receive them before your stay. We could not check in until late afternoon, so we had to rent a storage locker at the bus station and arrange for it to be transported later. This was a bit of an inconvenience so just be aware if you are flying in early in the morning. The suites are near a food court with a variety of great foods. It is a in a good location. It is a short walk to the harbor for aurora watching and shopping in town. Due to road construction and closures, there was some confusion with taxis finding us. We felt safe and very comfortable at Hlemmur. Communication with Hlemmur Suites was also very good with quick and helpful replies. We highly recommend it and would stay there again.
