Kyoto was my favorite city to visit on my trip to Japan and the MONday Apart Premium Kyoto Sta. Kamogawa made my experience even better. The staff were always friendly and made me feel right at home. The only thing I didn’t like was leaving. Wish I could stay forever!!

We didn’t realize there were two hotels, but the guy showed us the way on the map. The lady at the other building had already received a call we were coming, and got us a towel to dry our face since it was raining. Super friendly staff and room was amazing.

I have stayed at several MONday properties during my recent visits to Japan, but my last experience was particularly impressive, especially at MONday Apart Premium Kyoto Station - Kamogawa. A special shout-out to the front desk staff, Vanesa-san, who went above and beyond to ensure that guests were well taken care of. We traveled with a parent who has walking difficulties and needed a wheelchair. Vanesa-san went out of her way to find one for us to borrow and use during our stay, which made a world of difference. Thank you again for your exceptional hospitality and for taking such great care of us. I will definitely choose to stay here again when I visit Kyoto next time :)

We had the deluxe room -2 bathroom stalls made it very nice for groups -local 7/11 is nearby -local bars nearby are affordable and no frill -amenities are great which include basic hygiene supplies -in room washer and dryer makes reusing clothes easy -indoor smoke room was available for those that need it - TV has Netflix WR code connection making it very nice for those not native -in house magazine was useful for planning on site -24/7 front desk makes it easy to transfer luggage to next hotel - hotel was opened in November 2024 and was very new -heater was strong making our winter vacation enjoyable. -show storage was nice with long shoe horn -in house hangers make it easy to hang jackets after a long day -in house fridge and freezer is nice to hold food -in house water bottles are only 50 yen -staff was very fluent in English and extremely helpful -Shower room includes tub and dual shower head -in room blow dryer was a freaking Dyson -taxi service is easy for pick up and drop off. Overall hotel exceeded expectations for costs. Would recommend for any larger groups.

We enjoyed our stay at this newly opened apart hotel in Kyoto, which just launched in November 2024. The property is modern and beautifully designed, with everything inside feeling brand new. I stayed in a Junior Suite with my three boys (the youngest being 13), and the space was sufficient. The suite featured two twin beds and two sofas, making it perfect for our needs. The small kitchenette was well-equipped with a fridge, freezer, electric kettle, coffee maker, microwave/oven, and all the necessary utensils. We also appreciated the washer and dryer, with detergent provided. The bathroom was spacious and convenient, with two sinks, a separate shower and bathtub area, and a separate toilet room. Location-wise, the hotel is in a quiet neighborhood, just a 15-minute walk from Kyoto Station. It’s also within walking distance of key attractions like the Kyoto National Museum and Sanjūsangendō Temple (both less than 10 minutes away), and the famous Gion district is about a 20-minute walk. Overall, I’m very happy with our stay. The hotel is a great blend of comfort, convenience, and modern amenities, and I’d definitely stay here again on my next visit to Kyoto.

Very close to train stations. Was more than enough room for us with a family with a 1 and 4 year old. Especially like having the washer/dryer in the room and ability to cook. Nespresso machine was nice to have as well. Staff are all very friendly and professional - very kind to our kids. The noise from the street outside can be heard at times, but it didn't disrupt our sleep at all. We would stay again.

We (family of 4) stayed in the Junior suite. Was absolutely perfect. No noise at night, except for a siren every now and then. Staff gave a very warm welcome, and were attentive and able to help us. Perfectly sized room too. Great amenities. Had an error with the washing machine but the staff fixed it for us. Cannot complain. Will come again
