Very clean, modern accommodations. Perfect for families; we have 2 teens and the 3 room apartment was perfect for us. Subway entrances were within a block in any direction from the hotel so you could be anywhere in manhattan within a few minutes. Plenty of dining options on the block along with a CVS and other convenience stores. Staff was freindly and helpful.

Overall a great stay

Great location—close to many restaurants and metro stations with easy access to all of Manhattan. The hotel allowed Amazon packages to be delivered before arrival, which was super convenient. The apartment was nice and the beds comfy. The downside: $75 charge for a baby crib. We’ve traveled to 20 countries in the last three months, and this was the only hotel that charged for it—and at such a steep price! You could buy a portable crib at Walmart for $40.

Everything was excellent during our stay. More than enough room for a family of five. Plenty of food and entertainment options around. Only issue we had was with the toilets,they were constantly running after you’d flush. Perhaps they need to update or change the components. Other than that, our stay was excellent!

This was an amazing place to stay in. Close to many sites to see and subway to take to middle and upper manhattan. The customer services was also amazing. We were a family of 5 and we had plenty of room during our 3 night stay. We will return for sure!!

I will only stay at One Dutch when I visit FiDi from now on. Ive been to many oher hotels in FiDi and this is the best for the size and comfort of the room. My room at One Dutch was about 3x the size of a normal NYC hotel room plus extremely clean and modern. If you are needing a hotel for a longer stay in FiDi, this is the one you want.

Reception was absolutely incredible at first, but the next guy who clocked in wasn’t so great. The only real issue I had with the property was the radiator/heating, where they only had AC and the radiator only worked when it was under 50 degrees outside. Besides that, I really enjoyed my stay.

Great location, short walk to several subway lines. Lots of room (and kitchen!) for the price. Quiet street. Only complaint is the radiator in the main room didn't work, and the one in the master bedroom hissed all night long as if it was leaking. But it couldn't be turned off as it was warming the entire apartment. Told the front desk, but was not fixed and was blamed on city steam system. This wouldn't be an issue if you visited in the warmer months.

Excellent family stay in NEw York

We were a little nervous about booking this because there were so few reviews at the time. However, communications with the hotel prior to the stay were excellent. Check in was straight forward. The apartment was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. Location is great for downtown activities but the Yellow Cab fares can get a bit steep if you are venturing to midtown and beyond. Dutch Street only exists for one block and most cabbies won't have heard of it so I often had to key the address into their Google Maps. Also, you may have to walk a couple of blocks to find a cab - OK if its not raining. Overall we were very pleased with the choice and as a family requiring 3 rooms would book again - far preferable to hotel rates

We chose this hotel as it is one of just a few affordable "apartment" style properties in Manhattan FiDi equipped to accommodate a larger family. The hotel is conveniently located near many metro stations, restaurants, bars, grocery stores and other retail businesses without having the added overflow of tourists and 24/7 activity that you would see closer to Times Sq. That said, this property lacks the traditional hotel services ie. housekeeping, restaurant, bar, room service etc that one might expect elsewhere and this may not appeal to all travelers. Although we found the apartment to be sufficiently equipped with kitchen supplies, small appliances, toiletries, linens, washer/dryer and even a vacuum cleaner, we did run into a number of small maintenance issues such as difficult to open kitchen drawers missing handles, a shower door that leaked badly, a bathroom door that didn't close properly and an A/C system that seemed to have a mind of its own and never functioned properly for our entire stay. Not surprisingly, we also found our bedrooms to be tiny and lacking in closet/storage space and/or dressers which meant we basically had to live out of our suitcases. We were, however, in agreement that the beds were very comfortable. The sofa bed was hard to pull out and seemed very firm to the touch, but turned out to be by far the best hotel sofa bed I have used in my many decades of travel. We did not experience any of the noise issues others here have mentioned.

The good: The front desk staff were kind. The location was excellent near subway and grocery stores. The room seemed clean, updated and the kitchen was complete. The bad: we tried 2 different rooms during our long stay. both rooms had defective windows allowing cold air and overnight construction noise in. There are several construction going on right outside and nearby. some are overnight from 10Pm to 7Am. No white noise machine or ear plugs were able to block the noise and jackhammer vibration echoing overnight. Construction is not the hotel's fault but they should fix the windows so the windows will shut at least! I overheard other guests having the same issue with the noise. Also the outdated radiators made constant leak, hissing and popping sound throughout the night in the bedroom. The mattress was hard and bouncy and uncomfortable. I will not stay in this hotel again.
