Fantastic Hotel

It was so great! Very clean and much bigger room and shower than expected (with air conditioning). We felt very safe the entire time and were in an amazing location for walking places. Great bars/restaurants just feet from the entrance.

Amazing stay!

We spent part of our honeymoon at the La Torre Del Cestello and it was amazing. FrederĂ­ca made sure it was special for us with a sweet note & bottle of wine as well as recommendations for sightseeing. Plus our room had a beautiful view of the river and city. The room itself was large, nicely decorated and very clean. I would love to come back another time & recommend to others!

We stayed at this B&B one night between our stays at another location and we couldn’t have been happier. The staff was incredible and catered to all of our needs. We were able to get a late checkout and they even stowed our luggage temporarily until we were able to check-in at our next destination.

"This hotel is not ideal for larger individuals. If you're over 6'2" and 200 pounds, it may not be the most comfortable choice. It's not terrible, but it's not great either. The room has just the basics: a bed, an AC unit, a TV, and a very small bathroom. It's a place to sleep for the night, nothing more. It's not fancy or aesthetically pleasing, just functional for a short stay."

It was pretty hard to find it at first and our room was quite small, hence why I gave it 4 stars but overall it was great! It had a convenient location, a beautiful view and a clean room

Overall I had a decent stay. The staff was accommodating but I didn’t expect the hotel to be so inconvenient and uncomfortable with super tiny showers and bathrooms. Also I didn’t expect to be staying in an old fashioned Italian home renovated into a hotel. Wish I had known this before.

Great stay!

Great stat! The gals at the front desk were amazing, very helpful and friendly. Cleans rooms. Shower was small, but somewhat expected for Europe. Location was great because it is close to/in the more residential area of Florence so our meals/gelato/coffees were 100% better than when we got the same items in the more “touristy” places.

Lovely stay in Florence

A special thanks to Federica who has welcomed us very friendly. She also supported us with any questions and helped us to solve some problems which occured during our road tripp. We felt very welcome at our stay. The room was really tiny but we only stayed 2 nights so it was okay for us. It was clean and air conditioned with a lovely view over the old town. The hotel is well located, you reach anything by foot and there are good restaurants nearby.

Federica and Roxy will help you with all your questions before and during your stay. The room is crazy spacious, super clean and very comfortable. I used it to prepare for my wedding and I couldn’t have asked for anything more perfect. Gigantic mirror!!

The hotel was not up to the cost of the room, which was dusty, from furniture to floor. The air conditioning didn’t work and the shower head didn’t work. Very disappointed â˜č Would not recommend it to anyone

The hotel isn’t difficult to find as long as you have a map, and it’s within a reasonable walking distance from the train station. There’s a small sign outside indicating the front door. I don’t recall any communication prior about the system for entering, but it seemed that I wasn’t the only one confused. A small group of us arrived around the same time and we were all poking the door and looking around until one person buzzed up. They opened the door remotely—it opens on its own, but very slowly—and then the gate will also unlock at the same time. Now that you’re inside the gate, there’s an elevator. It can hold two people or one person bags. The hotel is on the third floor (that’s the fourth floor if you’re American) and there might also be another locked door here. Don’t worry—you will receive keys to let you in all of these places. The reception area has places to sit, and I also saw a lot of baggage sitting around here, waiting for owners who had checked in or out. My room was up another flight of very tiny, narrow, winding stairs. It was clean and tidy, with coffee and tea and water and toiletries. There was a mini fridge, kettle, espresso pod machine and a safe. The shower was narrow, speaking as a fairly small person, and the bed was firm (which I like). The TV remote didn’t respond well, so I gave up on that. Other than the remote, my only real complaint is that the walls are thin. Your neighbors WILL hear your conversations. Other than that, it was great.
