Nice and clean hotel and rooms. The economy room is quite small. Staff is very nice. Breakfast is fine, but there is no much choice. Perfect location, near the beach, where you can get a discount because you are guest of the hotel.

I liked the warmth of all the staff we encountered including front desk, breakfast, room cleaners. I liked the public areas—lobby was airy, bright, comfortable. Had a courtyard and sheltered patio area with fruit trees and other lush plantings. Lots of tables and chairs. We used this area as a home base, bringing in food to share with others in the wedding party. We were down the street from an overlook park with 2 restaurants, with views of bay of Naples and Sorrento cliffs. Hotel had delicious breakfasts included and the rates (around May 20) were extremely reasonable. The rooms are small but efficient and very clean. Window had lovely view. We could walk to other restaurants and hotels, housing others in our party, were close by. The hotel could use handrails at the steps to the elevator. The area around the hotel is very old and not easily accessible.

Clean, friendly & comfy

Friendly greeting for our late night arrival. The room was clean and the bed and pillows very comfy. Air con was perfect and not much outside noise. Set further aback from the main town centre, it took us about 25 mins to walk to the centre. The pavements along the way we’re sometimes very narrow or disappeared altogether. The other main road way was choked with traffic. Surprised how crowded Sorrento town centre was. Nice to get back to the hotel which is away from the crowds and there is a nice bar/restaurant at the end of the road which overlooks the med.

Kleines Hotel mit gutem FrĂŒhstĂŒck und Dachterrasse

Wir haben von diesem Hotel aus Sorrento und Umgebung erkundet. Die Mitarbeiter am Empfang waren alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer war sehr(!) klein. DafĂŒr gibt es bequeme Sofas im Eingangsbereich, eine Terrasse vor dem FrĂŒhstĂŒcksraum und eine Dachterrasse mit Whirlpool. Das FrĂŒhstĂŒck zĂ€hlte zu den besten, die wir in Italien hatten - es gibt eine große Auswahl an GebĂ€ck, dazu MĂŒsli und selbst etwas herzhaftes. Wenn man keinen Sandstrand in der NĂ€he sucht, ist das Hotel ideal um den Touristenmassen in Sorrento etwas zu entkommen und dennoch auch zu Fuß nach Sorrento zu kommen. Die teilweise angegebenen 20min sind vielleicht etwas optimistisch, aber in einer halben Stunde schafft man es bis in die (Alt-)Stadt

Gutes Hotel fĂŒr ein PĂ€rchenurlaub in Sorrento

Das Hotel liegt unweit der KĂŒste in Sant Agnello, ca. 1.5km Entfernt von dem Stadtkern von Sorrento (20min zu Fuß). Eine Bushaltestelle ist unweit des Hotels. Das Personal ist Ă€ußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Zimmer sind klein aber sauber. Es gibt eine Dachterasse mit Liegen und einem Whirlpool. Lediglich beim FrĂŒhstĂŒck könnte man fĂŒr mein Empfinden mehr Auswahl und Abwechslung anbieten.

Definitely not 4 star standards

Hotel is located close to the sea in quiet area. It is also not far away from a city centre (about 15 minutes walk) so its very convenient. If you got a car hotel offers parking space not far away from hotel, unfortunately there is extra charge for it (15 euros per day). Around the hotel you can find many great place to eat, such as restaurants, pizzerias etc. Prices are very reasonable and the food is excellent! Unfortunately hotel itself was bit disappointing. We were expecting 4 star standards but unfortunately it was no where close to it. Staff is very friendly but they speak very basic English. But what's the worst is cleanliness - bathroom looks pretty disgusting. when we got to our room - we noticed that under the shower was used soap used left by previous guest (no one was cleaning after them?) Shower had clear black marks on the tiles - because of that we have been taking shower through our stay wearing flip flops - doesn't sound like 4 star standard right? Another disappointment was breakfast. First of all choose was very poor - everyday exactly same juice, hot options and very poor cold option. But what's even worst - all glasses, bowls even plates were so dirty - that on some plates you could see what was on it previously ( pieces of scrambled eggs etc). When we asked barista for cup of coffee - our espressos was served in a dirty cup as well... IT was extremely shocking experience for us!

Small overpriced room I only stayed to be close to the bride the elevator is for 2ppl only and didnt work at the time of check in ....if I knew unconventional hotel was rite around the corner for 75 per night with bigger and better rooms i wouldn't have stayed at Hotel Crawford breakfast in Italy is the same every hotel pastry and under cooked ham n eggs

Nice hotel and close to the beach. Town is about a 25 minute walk to Sorrento. Breakfast was super!! Room was nice but shower is much too small. Staff is great!!

Will be coming back

My husband and I were very pleased with Hotel Crawford. The staff were very friendly and super helpful in booking day trips and answering questions. We had to leave very early on our last day to catch our flight, before breakfast had begun, yet the front desk person encouraged us to take anything that was already set out, and even brought the box of freshly delivered pastries to us and made us take some for the road! Very kind and helpful staff. Back to the breakfast, DELICIOUS and lots of variety! The room was clean and comfortable, beautiful view. Walking distance to the "beach" and really wonderful local bars, as well as touristy restaurants ( that we really enjoyed!). There is a shuttle that can take you to Sorrento (literally right outside of the hotel doors), but we walked approx 20 mins. Also, don't skip the downtown Sant'Agnello! We had the best ever gelato on our walk back home, just a few minutes walk from the Hotel Crawford. We loved our trip to Sorrento and Sant'Agnello, and we loved Hotel Crawford!
