Great quiet, relaxing place to stay... close to very nice beach. Steep hillside location great for ocean views, not so good for people with mobility issues. Nice clean property, clean refreshing pool. Great place to stay if you have rented or have a vehicle.

Beautiful, peaceful place with cute, spacious bungalows teeming with nature and incredible views. The local band on the Sunday afternoon with dancing was brilliant. Can't recommend it enough.

What's not to like, Clean & Friendly

The bungalow accommodation was lovely very clean, the food in the restaurant was very tasty. Daniel gave us a warm welcome upon arrival and was very helpful in arranging transport to airport. The surrounding grounds and pool are well kept. The gorgeous clean beach and little food outlets for lunch are just down the hill within walking distance. We highly recommend having your own transportation as the hills are very steep. Lovely relaxing setting

I liked the location to the beach, the abiluty to get something to eat from the restaurant and the pool. I disliked the treacherous hill/steps we had to climb to get to the resturant and the horrible smell in the area surrounding the resturant.

Beautiful beach, a little busy, a pretty little coral reef with fish and corals on the right side of the beach, so it allows you to experience little of snorkeling. The room had a beautiful view of the sea. The downside is, that there is no store close by to buy necessities. You have to travel 5 km to town of Le Marin.

No wifi in the cabin, no oven, air conditioning in bedroom only directed directly on the bed. Cabin dated although relatively clean. Restaurant seemed nice but pricey. Arrived early but no flexibility as to having the room a bit early.

The staff was incredibly rude not just to myself but to my young children. They attempted to charge me double threatened me if I didn't CLEAN my own room and take out the garbage far away they would charge me extra saying it would happen automatically via expedia that they have my credit card (they did not in fact have my card info). There's NOTHING in the area as for grocery or shopping and it's a 25 euro at least cab to the nearest town or a hike up a dangerous hill for a bus. Do not recommend this place at all.

Daniel, Ocean, Lindy and all at Paradis de L'Anse made my stay wonderful.Daniel is one of the best chefs & I've lived in Manhattan, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Many years, all of them.Order either of the 2 steaks... Magnificent! As was all else. Please know that Sundays, guests must reserve for the buffet luncheon & no dinner Sun Night & closed Monday. The view from my room was as incredible as the location. NOTE: It is a very steep location as a result, with many stone steps up & down. If one has disabilities I believe Daniel will find a way to oblige guests, but it is not easy to & from the rooms w best views, nor to the beach. But worth it!

Cheap but dirty and full of cockroaches

We rented 2 apartments for 1 week. The rooms were spacious but not cleaned well when we arrived. There we’re dirt and hair on the floor of people who rented the apartment before. There was no cleaning service during our stay, not even fresh towels. There’s only on small rubbish bin in the bathroom. Both apartments are full of cockroaches - dead and alive ones. The bed is comfortable. Air condition were only working in one of the apartments properly. The ti punch as a welcome drink was really good and the food in the restaurant is als good. The pool areas is clean. Unfortunately the Wifi isn’t working most of the time. The stuff was mostly nice. All in all we don’t recommend this accommodation

Ok for base but you need a car!

Arrived. Phoned landlord for access code to property. Handyman greeted me. Room - basic but clean. Included fridge and 2 ring electric hob and kitchen sink, plus 1 1/2 rolls of cheap toiler roll for 5 nights/6 days. Based on a sharp hill. Car parking interesting but always left car in gear. Swimming pool compact but ok. The hill up and down from restaurant was very steep, so worth baring in mind if you have any mobility issues. Internet didnt work for 2 days. On arrival the restaurant was closed. Landlord told me i could have a choice of 1 meat or 1 fish and I would have to take it to my room or eat alone in restaurant (I had already booked a dinner and breakfast in advance of arriving). Dinner was good. Never ate another meal there as restaurant often totally closed. The venue is a good place for basic location to other areas but you need a car. I was surprised to told by cleaner on day of leaving that I needed to take all my house hold rubbish with me and, if so, I would be welcomed again. I would stay at the the venue again - as I think it is ideal for exploring and within budget! I went to settle my bill on leaving and asked to wait for landlord as on phone. After a good 15 mins after he finished his phone call he instructed a member of staff to tell me how much I owed. He never said thank you for your custom or goodbye.... Felt a little disappointed by that! Love Martinique overall.

Clean and nice bungalows with fantastic view.

Charming and clean bungalows with A/C, nice view over the ocean and well-kept garden. There is a small but nice pool belonging to the bungalows, and a short walking distance to fantastic beach. The staff were very nice and helpful and the owner speaks English. But sometimes they were a little bit difficult to get in touch with. The opening hours for the reception and the restaurant were a little bit unclear for example. We had also appreciated a little bit more equipped kitchen and some terrace furniture for our bungalow (the others seem to have). But as an overall impression we are very satisfied with our stay and we had fantastic sunsets from the close beach and could really recommend this place. Though it is more or less a requirement to have a car to get to other restaurants, beaches, shops etc. No supermarket in the close area.

RĂ©sidence HĂŽteliĂšre juste correcte, le cadre est agrĂ©able avec une vue sympathique nĂ©anmoins le bungalow occupĂ© mĂ©ritait un rafraĂźchissement (salle de bain, toilettes, canapĂ© lit) et une vigilance devrait ĂȘtre portĂ© sur le mĂ©nage notamment les toiles d'araignĂ©e... Le sĂ©jour ne fut pas dĂ©sagrĂ©able pour autant mais pourrait ĂȘtre valorisĂ© si ces points Ă©taient travaillĂ©s. Les plats servis n'Ă©taient pas a la hauteur de nos attentes, en revanche la citronnade Ă©tait bonne !

Un bel endroit, trĂšs montagneux et belle vue sur la mer. Nous avion un petit loft. RĂ©cemment rĂ©novĂ©. La descente pour la plage se fait Ă  pied, et c’est trĂšs apique. Mais ce fait bien. Un peu difficile au niveau de la communication. Restaurant pas souvent ouvert et dure de vonnaitre l’horaire pour quelqu’un qui voudrait y prendre son dĂ©jeuner. Emplacement favorable pour faire les visite. Une belle Ă©picerie, Genipa a 20 minutes en auto. Bref super voyage

Appart'hÎtel fonctionnel bien que vieillissant. Personnel aimable. Proche de la plage mais il est à noter qu'il est situé en hauteur. Les photos, comme souvent, sont plus belles que la réalité. Voiture indispensable, rien à proximité.

Nous avons louĂ© un studio avec vue sur la mer. Nous avons eu un accueil trĂšs chaleureux, le logement Ă©tait propre et climatisĂ©. Plusieurs places de stationnement disponible. La plage est a seulement 5 minutes Ă  pieds, avec une trĂšs grande pente avec des escaliers. Le restaurant de l’hĂŽtel est trĂšs bon. Seul problĂšme rencontrĂ© est le wifi qui n’était visiblement pas assez puissant pour se rendre jusqu’au logement. Je recommande cet hotel.

bien pour la localisation moyen sur tout le reste

Ă©tablissement trĂšs bien situĂ© Ă  cĂŽtĂ© d’une plage sympa et pas loin d’une nationale. Par contre les chambres sont petites et la salle de bain/toilette MINISCULE surtout pour 5 personnes! Étant donnĂ© la proximitĂ© de la plage et que les fenĂȘtres sont anciens (pas de double vitrage) c’est assez bruyant (on entends tout des fĂȘtes et autres Ă©vĂ©nements de la plage)

La vue de notre chambre(1) était incroyable . Un beau grand balcon. Par contre nous avons souffert de puces de lit. Aucun moustiquaire sur les auvent. Nous avions des moustiques tous les soirs. Le trajet pour s'y rendre est trÚs sinueux et montagneux. La propriété est sur falaise ce qui donne un stationnement difficile. A éviter sauf pour les athlÚtes et pilote.

Un véritable paradis

J'ai sĂ©journĂ© 3 nuits au Paradis de l'Anse. L'accueil a Ă©tĂ© trĂšs aimable, le patron est surtout au restaurant du mĂȘme nom, situĂ© Ă  100m. Étant seul, j'ai pris une chambre, et elle se trouvait ĂȘtre pile en face de la mer, vue imprenable sur l'Ance Figuier. Pour arriver Ă  l'hĂŽtel, il faut une voiture qui supporte les cĂŽtes abruptes, et ĂȘtre Ă  l'aise dans le maniement de l'embrayage...
