This resort was just perfect for us. Great location slightly off season with all amenies perfect for a couple. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Our second visit to Cape Cod from the UK would definitely recommend. Friendly on the budget too!

Really nice place to stay

This is an excellent hotel fir a vacation with a well-maintained pool, beautiful views of the river in the back and harbor in the front, a fitness room, a playroom with billiards, video games, board games and a TV, a large deck with a terrific view of the river, and outdoor sitting and eating areas. The staff was responsive and helpful. Only drawbacks: pool closed a little early, at 8, and no elevator.

Wonderful experience! Great customer service! Amazing view of the marina! All the kitchen amenities were very convenient. Refrigerator and freezer, coffee pot and toaster. Wow!

Awesome Place!

Awesome place mid-cape! We got a 2 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom condo and it was awesome. Kitchen was fully equipped. Nice pool and hot tub. Would definitely stay here again.

Don't miss any chance to stay at Riverview Resort!

Riverview Resort by VRI Americas South Yarmouth, MA continues to impress me. I have stayed there for family summer vaction time and as an oasis during a business-related trip. It is a fantasitic place, professionally run and operated, peaceful, clean and the set-up could not be better no matter the unit you occupy. I highly recommend this fantastic hotel resort!

Not the best

It was really dirty (like months of dust built up on top of the shower). Repeatedly had to ask for more toilet paper we were there for a week and they gave us two rolls, one night we even had to call the emergency line just for toilet paper & set of sheets. The beds were very hard. They also wouldn’t give us money back for checking out a day early even though it was over 24 hour notice (it was a family emergency)

The room was a bit musty but clean. It was quiet. There was an issue with our reservation but the hotel went over the top to make it right.

During check-in, we were not informed that room service is available only upon request. As a result, we did not receive any service throughout our stay. It looked like the hotel wasn’t fully booked, so we feel we could have been given a room with a better view than the parking lot. Since our room faced the parking lot, our privacy was compromised, and we had to keep the curtains closed to avoid being seen from outside.

Our stay at the Riverview was the perfect kick off to a great Cape Cod vacation. We had a 2BR, 3 BA suite which also included a kitchenette, dining area and comfortable seating. Three flat screen TV’s. The lawn area behind our rooms accessible through screen doors, was beautifully manicured with Adirondack chairs where we sat and watched the boats sail up the inlet from the marina next door. There was a very nice playground for the kids and even a basketball hoop. Outside over the indoor pool was a nice roof deck with picnic table and chairs. Washers& dryers were available along with a game room and full kitchen. The front desk staff could not have been nicer. And very accommodating when I decided to extend our stay one night. Overall I highly recommend and will definitely stay here again.

Pleasant Off-Season Stay

An updated Cape Cod hotel...the common areas reflect its past, but the rooms speak to its future. All areas very clean. The room was fabulous with a refrigerator, microwave, dishes, sink, dimmable lights, two bathrooms, separate master bedroom area, and a balcony...it was great! There are two stoves/ovens onsite, along with laundry facilities. Beautiful back yard overlooking the river and a deck for even better views. Ground floor rooms on the riverside all have a picnic table and access to charcoal grills. Best yet, all the staff were very friendly and kind.

Mold in the ac unit Had to ask for cleaning service this first night because when we came back later in the day the room had not been touched. When we brought it to the attention of the person on duty he immediately got defensive. The bed was uncomfortable. They never changed the bed sheets with the room service. The bedside table was falling off the wall, had to get that fixed so I could put my medical equipment on it to sleep. Just very discouraging for paying what we did per night

We arrived after midnight, after the long drive from Boston it was wonderful to see they had restrooms available inside of the office to freshen up and all you have to do is pick up a phone and you are connected to someone who tells you exactly how to get your keys. What sold me on this property when I seen it on Expedia was the two bathrooms. It was wonderful for my husband and I to each have our own bathroom. The only issue was the dresser, it had an odd odor. I put my clothes in it and even the ones in plastic bags had absorbed the odor and I had to wash them and keep them in my suitcase. And the bedroom remote was so sticky because of the humidity I couldn’t touch it. But everything else was beautiful! We didn’t use the pool but it was really nice. The laundry room was really clean and always available. And while waiting on it you can play pool or other games they have in a very large room right down the hall. The bbq grill came in handy. Would have been nice to have a coffee maker that used pods but the old fashioned one wasn’t a dealbreaker. The grounds are beautiful. It was very quiet while we were there. Plenty of parking, we will return.
