Beautiful location, disappointing service
I stayed at Le Phare Bleu Marina Resort for one week in a Seafront Two-Bedroom Cottage. The property itself is very beautiful, but unfortunately, my overall experience was extremely disappointing.
On the very first night, after showering and heading out, we returned in the early hours of the morning to find there was no running water anywhere in the cottage. There was no staff available to ask for help, so we had no choice but to go to sleep and wait until morning. Thankfully, the water was back on when we woke up, but it set the tone for the rest of the stay.
Another major issue was the showers. On the first day, there was warm water, but for the remaining six days, it was only cold water. It honestly felt like the hot water had been shut off. Taking cold showers every day was not only annoying but completely unacceptable for a resort at this price point.
By the third day, I realized no one had come to clean the cottage, replace towels, or take out the trash. I went to reception to ask and was told rooms are serviced on the third day, so I assumed service would happen. We returned later only to find the room still untouched. On the fourth day, I asked again and was assured it would be cleaned. That evening, we returned to find towels changed, trash taken out, and the floor mopped. However, the cleaning was clearly incompleteâthe sink and toilet were visibly dirty, and I had to use dish soap to clean them myself.
