When we checked in, they made us go to a different person to get our car passes and swilling passes. That is fine, but BEWARE, they start harassing you to sit through a 2 hour timeshare presentation. That is fine if they ask and accept no as an answer and move on, but we were there for a good 10 minutes with me continually saying NO I am not interested. They continued as to why I should take 2 hours out of MY vacation to sit through there presentation telling me that they could show me how to go directly through their website and book my rental instead of going through Expedia! I said NO. I am a pretty strong willed person, but I do want people to be prepared for this. Continue to say no. Do not let them get to you. It starts your vacation off on a bad note when they harass you like this. I will not be staying there again. Also there were beer cans and trash outside around there shrubs, one of the rocking chairs on deck was broken when we arrived. I could probably overlook all this and stay again, but not the harassment of the check in process. Also, we checked in at 4"00, check in time and I heard them say to several people that their homes were not cleaned and ready for them. Not cool. If you put a check in time down, you should be able to go to your rental at that time.

The property is beautiful, and our cottage was very conveniently located. Our cottage was infested with ants, the AC was broken for the first night, and the ceiling fan was broken. When I reached out to the staff about these issues, they were very polite but the issues never really got resolved. I am not sure if I will return to this property.

The cottage is nice, but it needs a good deep cleaning. Air vents were caked in dust, there were bloody boogers smeared on the ceiling in the main bed room. Floor was dirty, we wore socks the entire time in the cottage. The outside of the unit need painted, and landscaping work.

Pretty good but quirks

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The check in ran behind and keys lost magnetic field if put in a wallet or by an other cards. Our units washer didn’t spin the clothes out. We requested a fix, they came but it still didn’t work. The pool didn’t have lifeguards so no water slide for days, bummer for the kids. The pool was open just no slide. The beds were good and unit as pictured just need more quality staff to run and repair.

We had a great stay and will be back! Food was good wish there were a few more options. The room had some things that needed cleaned before we entered, but beds were clean and nice. Was without hot water one day after returning from the pool, but maintenance quickly got it taken care of. Was very happy with our stay!

Staff was perfect. Location was easy to get to main attractions. Better than a hotel by far. Swimming area is great. Splash pad and zero entry pool.

We stayed for Fourth of July weekend. They started blaring music by the pool at 6am so if you stay, request a condo further from the main building. Our condo was very nice but did have a couple things broken and we had ants on the counter. They were very quick to come fix everything.

So many flies!

The layout of the time share was great! But when we arrived there were so many flies! We had to find the fly swatter and we killed over 15 flies while we were there. The bed was comfortable as well as the sofa. We enjoyed the 2nd pool--the one without the water slides. The downstairs bathroom needs draperies--it was so bright even during the night. The second night, I woke up to the scent of marijuana. I suppose a neighbor was outside indulging.

We had a wonderful stay at this rental house. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The kids especially loved the pool area; it was a big hit! Being just a few steps from the clubhouse made everything super convenient. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to other families.

Cottages are generally well kept. Good value for the money. Good place to stay with little kids .. my 12 year old was bored because of how shallow and small the pool was.

Amazing property! After our first stay at this property it was the first place we looked for to visit again. The cottages are great for families but the pool area is the greatest! Awesome splashing fun for all ages!

Fun Family Weekend

Our family had a wonderful time at Stormy Point. There were 7 of us. My husband, myself, our adult daughter & 4 grandkids. They loved the pool areas & we had ice cream while watching karaoke at the outdoor stage area. So fun & family oriented. The accommodations were clean & spacious. We plan on returning.
