I wasn"t sure what to expect from the description of the hotel, but was pleasantly surprised when we walked in. It was a nice change from your typical hotel. The decor was interesting, original and well set up. The bed was comfortable for a good night's sleep. There was access to a full kitchen for our use just outside our suite. My husband and I came to relax and found the whirpool tub extremely relaxing. We loved this place and would definitely return.

A great introduction to Montreal

The property was very close to the places that my wife and i wanted to go to - Centre Bell and an Architecture Museum. There were so many shops and eateries nearby. The room was a nice getaway from the sheer urban setting that surrounded us.

This is one of the most interesting hotel rooms I have ever stayed. Wonderful vintage design. The bathtub with Jacuzzi is great. Very clean. Staff is friendly and helpful as well.

Beautiful room. Absolutely loved the soaker tub. The main entrance key was iffy and the door looked like it was kicked in at some point. The spiral staircase to the room felt loose on the wall. Some bolts were not secure.

Lovely accommodations in older walk up with lots of character. Our suite was spacious, beautifully decorated, beautiful artwork. Bed was comfy, large soaker tub in the huge bathroom, separate shower. A shared kitchen was available right outside our door. Great location, particularly for our event at the Bell Center. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here during our last visit to Montreal, a number of years ago, and it was excellent. This time around, we noticed things like the breakfast weren’t as good as the last visit but it was still fine. The fact that I offered my credit card to two different people to cover parking and breakfasts, was turned down twice, saying my card was on file and then being called repeatedly for the information, even though I had sent a message saying I would have to call once I was finished driving through northern Ontario (each day I finished driving, no one was at the desk at Bons Matins), receiving rude text messages, being threatened to have the matter escalated to Expedia, calling to take care of the payment and then receiving another threat three hours later through Expedia, has definitely left a sour taste in our mouths and we will definitely not stay at this establishment in the future.

Lovely property, beautiful decor, steps away from subway, close to all of downtown, including a nice walk to Mount Royal, staff helpful and friendly. Would be a nice extra if there was a kettle, tea and coffee supplies in room. One minor complaint-as my room was in basement, was awakened by footsteps above very early in the AM.
