The worst issue was the sofa bed, which did not work very well as a sofa and I doubt it works very well as a bed either the apartment was nice, but I probably wouldn’t choose it again for a long stay

A great Porto stay!

Incredible stay in this wonderful apartment! Very conveniently located for the hub of Porto, and only a 15ish minute walk down to the river. The blackout shutters were brilliant, and although next to the very busy Bolhao market, it was quiet enabling a great sleep. 10/10 would recommend staying here!

Very nice small apartment facing Bolhao market. Metro stations just a few steps from the apartment. Well equipped kitchen. Very clean. You can drop your luggage at their sister apartment complex which was just few meters away. I really enjoyed my stay at this Bolhao apartment.

Good location walkable distance to everything. The apartment is will equipped with cooking utensils, kettle, and a coffee machine. Highly recommended to stay here. There is no lift but stairs aren’t bad to manage.

Communication with the team was brilliant. Our travel plans had been affected and the team could't have been more accomadating with us needing to change our expected arrival time on the day, they just asked we kept them updated thoughout the day. The accomadation was in a brilliant area and in good condition and although it was on a busy street and close to lots of shops and restaurant's you couldnt hear any noise from the street in the apartment. Recommendations provided on our arrival were great too and we loved being across from the food market. We would stay again! Porto is a beautiful and special place to visit....enjoy!

Check in was wonderful. They let us store our luggage at the office until our room was ready, gave us a map of Porto with recommendations, did a walk-through of the apartment with us, they couldn't have been more helpful. Excellent service, great area, great apartment.

Great location but lacking in amenities. No sound proof windows no blackout shades. Stayed 8nights and got two coffees. No pepper no oil no tea lack of sugar and coffee.

Great Location

We loved our stay at Sweet Porto Bolhao Market. The location is very good right in the city of Porto. The Bolhao Market is just across the street from the apartment. Everything is walking distance to restaurants, bars and shops. We stayed in the superior apartment and it’s pretty roomy. The closest was a plus as well as the bedroom is spacious enough for our luggages. There is also a bakery and a butcher below the apartment so you can pick up freshly baked bread and pastries. The staff are very nice specially Marco. He was very helpful and gave us great recommendations where to eat and what to explore during our stay there. We will definitely go back there again.

Cost effective accommodation in a brilliant location with Bilhao Metro stop just outside. Rooms are simple but adequate for a short stay. Some redecoration required. Please note that in our 1 bedroom apartment the wall between the bedroom and living area does not extend all the way to the ceiling so the 2 areas are not separate.

The welcome by the host of Sweet Porto Apartments and the location of the apartment were amazing. She gave us lots of info and your right in the city centre next to the metro. So everything is within reach. However, the bed was very hard. We couldn’t sleep well on it. And with the perks of the location comes with some noise disturbance at night/early morning from party people or traffic.

Sweet Porto apartment is a relatively economical, not fancy but fully functional apartment hotel. I stayed there for 6 nights in May. It has many pluses. It's location is excellent, within walking distance to all attractions. The Bahoa Market is across the street. A Portugal supermarket chain store, a pharmacy and a bakery are nearby. The kitchen is well equipped to cook a simple meal. The biggest minus is the lack of service and its absolute refusal to provide any service after check in. There is no front desk, guests communicate with the management team about expected arrival time initially through Expedia message, the platform I booked the hotel. This is perfectly okay. After having connected with them, they wanted me to communicate through WhatsApp. A team member waited for me and my husband and I at the specified arrival time at the apartment. The representative charged our credit and gave us the apartment key and a Porto map. When I asked what I should do if I need more toilet paper and kitchen trash bags, I get the totally unexpected reply of "you buy them at the supermarket yourself". When I wanted to ask more questions, the representative said she needed to leave. I later followed up about replenishment of trash bags through WhatsApp, my message was read but no reply. It is a total disappointment. Even though Sweet Porto is an economical no fanfare apartment hotel, I do expect management provides the basic necessary supplies.
