Great updated apartment in center of city

We stayed for a week in November. We loved the location, the character of the apartment (402), and the view from the balcony and the windows! You do have to carry luggage up to the 4th floor (no elevator), but that helps work off the extra calories from the fish and chips and the next door ice cream parlor. There is a CameraPark garage (below the MicroBar) is just a few blocks down the same road and it is the cheapest place (other than finding free lots) to leave your car. People down on Laugavegur can be a bit loud Friday and Saturday nights, but it wasn't enough to affect anyone's sleeping. We would definitely stay here if we found ourselves in Reykjavik again.

Perfect location for exploring ReykjavĂ­k

Fabulously located apartment in the heart of ReykjavĂ­k. The apartments are clean, well equipped and comfortable. Let down slightly by the entrance and stairwell which could benefit from a face lift.

Excellent location and well kept apartment. The only downside I see is that the building does not have elevators. So carrying luggage upto the 4th floor could be challenging for some people.

We loved our stay. The apartment was so cozy and well appointed. The location was absolutely perfect right in the middle of everything. The only thing that was a bit challenging was lugging all of our luggage up to the 4th floor.

Gem in the heart of Reyjavik.

We had a wonderful stay here at this comfortable and clean apartment situated right in the heart of Reykjavik. We stayed in the winter, but it may be very busy in warmer months. I would highly recommend this property as there is everything you need nearby, it is a lovely place, and the communication and ease of use with owners was excellent.

Property was easy to find, well located on a busy and active pedestrian street, but still easy for any of our tour guides to find when they swung by to pick us up. A very bustling area, but at the same time we're 3 stories up and the space is quiet when we needed it to be.

Great location.Sone issues getting in to the apartment (they gave us the wrong code!). Only 3 cups and 4 items of cutlery and plates for an apartment that supposedly sleeps 5 or 6. Someone turned up with extra mugs when we asked but they were dirty! However, the apartment is comfortable and has the best locatioon

Some newer updates to apartment, several flights of stairs to get to it. Great location, in the heart of downtown (means also a bit late night street noise). Clean and filled with amenities. Managers were great and communication was fast and responsive to our requests. Overall a great stay!

Situated in the heart of downtown, IĂ°unn Apartments offers convenient walking distance access to all the area's attractions. It's an excellent choice for first-time tourists such as ourselves.The apartment itself is impeccably clean and cozy. The fully equipped kitchen of the apartment, coupled with the proximity of the Bonus grocery store, caters to those who prefer to prepare their own meals. Communication with IĂ°unn Apartments management is also commendable.

Nice apartment central location

Great spacious apartment in central location. Comfortable beds and clean fresh bedding. Towels a little worn. Kitchen had plenty of equipment and enough crockery, glassware etc. Apartment could benefit a deep clean high areas and men’s pants found in washing machine. Due to central location we did have some noise in street until late, but this could be expected.

This place is a dump. It’s not taken care of. Stained pillows and linens stuffed in the wardrobe. Chipped dishes, broken drawers. Balcony was dirty and unusable. Really not worth the price. We stayed in apt. 201 but it’s hard to see what unit you are booking on Expedia. Wouldn’t stay here again even if it were free.

Great stay

The property is located in a very convenient area of town, very near the popular Lutheran church (which you can see from the balcony of the apartment). We stayed in the top floor apartment. The interior is a nicely revitalized historic setting. Two separate bedrooms (each with two beds (that can be pushed together). Two sofa-beds in the living room. Nice kitchen and seating area. There are stairs to climb up/down from the apartment (not an issue for us, but something to consider). There is a nice ice-cream shop right by the entrance, which has great gelato in waffle cones or on a fresh Belgian waffle.
