The apartment is just like the pictures, with what I need and expect, such as a small open kitchen, washing machine and the balcony. But the host would bring me to another hotel nearby, but there has nothing I need and expect. Luckily the host bought me back to the BnB I booked and let me stay at where I booked.

I really enjoyed my stay here, very close to Taksim Sq and shopping, restaurants, bars. Rooms are very clean and well kept, comfortable mattresses and pillows. Mr Ali is great host and very helpful. The rooms are great value for money, I would stay here again and highly recommend it to all travelers

The owners were very nice and kind; the apartment is nice and very good value. Location is perfect. Washing machine in room is a really nice bonus !! We definitely recommend this hotel for long and short stays 🙂

Its not fancy by any means, but it is a nice clean little apartment with a washing machine, if you need to clean some clothes. The area around the Taksim Square is very good and has some night life.

Good hotel close to Taksim Square

We were happy with our stay here and were warmly welcomed and the service from this family run hotel was very good. The room was spacious and clean and had all the amenities we could have wanted. Location was great to have an easy walk to Taksim Square and not far to walk to Galata tower or the ferry terminal. From the outside the street and the hotel is very humble looking but it is surprisingly good on the inside. I’d recommend to anyone on a budget looking for good accom in a good location

I was scared when i arrived in the area ,the area is very old and the buildings are old .but once you get inside the building is very nice and clean . The place is close to everything ,taksim square,galata tower and many resturants and coffee shops .i will recommend this place to my friends and will stay there again .The only thing is that it can be noisy at night but i was on vacation so didnt mind .The staff was very good and always there for the guests .Thank you for making my stay great

Good location

We got there very late at night, 1.30am and i didn't notice that they sent me a msg asking when i will be checking in. Hence there was nobody to open the gate for us. Luckily they indicated their contact number and i was able to reach them. Check in was a breeze, area was quiet but very near eating joints at Taksim Sq. Owner was also friendly.

The host Ali was incredibly welcoming as soon as we walked in. He was extremely helpful throughout the whole stay and was really attentive to our needs. The location of the hotel is perfect walking distance to local shops and restaurants. The room was clean on arrival and it included basic amenities such as a washer, fridge and hair dryer. side note: there’s no elevator so if you are in a high floor keep that in mind. Overall, would highly recommend staying at Sunshine Taksim Suite. Thanks again Ali

I had a somewhat unsatisfactory experience at Sunshine Taksim Suites, though the location is very convenient, just steps from Taksim Square, which is a big plus for anyone wanting to stay near the heart of Istanbul. We booked a 25 sqm room for 3 people, but when we arrived, we were sent to another building with a different name. The room we got was much smaller than expected, around 15 sqm, and didn’t match the pictures. We contacted Expedia, and they quickly resolved the issue. Within 15 minutes, we were moved to another room, but this was in a different hotel. This time, we received a spacious apartment on the top floor. However, there was still an issue: in the kitchen, where two single beds were placed, there was the elevator motor. The constant noise every time the elevator ran was very disturbing and made it hard to relax. The staff was very kind, which helped improve the experience. Cleanliness was acceptable but not perfect. The price we paid reflected the quality, but overall, the stay didn’t meet expectations. My advice to the property managers renting under the name “Sunshine Taksim Suites” is to be more transparent in their descriptions. It should be clear that guests might stay in a different building and that the pictures are for reference. This would help avoid disappointment and provide a better experience for future guests.
