The place is beautiful and in a lovely countryside location with a great view. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this to others. The place was very clean. The only negative was that the cleaning fee wasn’t included in the price and we had to clean the place ourselves.

It's a nice cabin but the thing with the cleaning is just wierd. There is no cleaning sevice and you basically need to thoroughly clean the cabin for the next guest! I would understand if it was some low-cost option but the place cost like any other place around.

Breathtaking views, out in the middle of nowhere. I loved my stay and would definitely stay again in the future. Communication was great and the cabin was so comfy.

Perfect place to enjoy the Aurora!

The property is located in a very picturesque place. You have a lot of privacy and the perfect place to enjoy the Aurora! Well equipped. We stayed two nights. 15 minutes drive to Höfn. The local pool is very nice too.

Beautiful location off the highway, but offset so no noise. Was great for my family of 3 space wise and set up for cooking, play and sleep. Was exactly what we needed

We had to clean extra when we left because it was a bit dirty and we didn’t want to get charged for leaving it dirty. For instance the lamps was really dirty, the vase in the shelf etc. we had to clean it all because of a lot of dust. As well the curtains was molded. However, we loved the location and the interior was nice. So the potential was definitely there.

Very sweet cottage with lovely outlook. Had everything you needed. Very comfortable beds. Great place to view the Northern Lights. Cottage was very clean

Check-in wasn’t what it should be. We didn’t receive any instructions before arrival. With help from the camping owner below we were finally able to reach the owner of the property. She was “on her way home” and asked us to wait till after 5 so she could “charge my card”. No idea why she didnt do that before. State of property: views are so nice, but bed is not comfy and pillows and blankets are old and disgusting. Not to even talk about the blinds, which are full of bugs and really disgusting. Don’t understand why it’s that hard to just replace that. Demanding guests to clean the whole property while you obviously don’t take care of it yourself is a bit ridiculous.

My family loved the cottage, especially the field of horses right in front of the porch. Great view and location for our road trip, very quiet. I received the combi ation to the door and was happy with how easy it was to access. It was an easy location to find. I certainly recommend this property.

Simple but cozy, with amazing pastoral views. All you need is there. Easy clean up like washing dishes after yourself, putting bedding away and vacuuming , was not an issue.

Very scenic setting! Lovely view from the sitting area. You will find everything you need. If you are lucky, the horses will arrive on the neighboring property and let you feed them some oats.

Best thing about the place was the cleaning person helping us to access the property. Before that we received no communication about the property, which cabin we were in, or how to access. Thanks to help from the community, we were able to get in. Just a heads up that you are expected to make your own beds and clean (sweep, mop, vacuum, etc.) before you leave.
