Fabulous location, centered in the popular Del Ray section of Alexandria. More of a boutique hotel than a more traditional stay, their model of close communication through technology worked well for us. All and all a welcoming and fun place to stay.

There are many steps, both from the 1st floor to the 2nd floor However there's also a step into and out of bathroom. The room was clean except for a left over creamer, and used coffee in the machine.

The studio was great! I am getting used to properties where you do everything on line. The security felt solid and everything we needed was provided. Easy to book and easy access to DCA.

Great Location, Responsive Staff — But Some Issues

Kasa Del Ray had a few issues during my stay. First, the room I was initially assigned didn’t match any of the photos on the listing—it simply wasn’t shown on the site. After I raised the concern, I was moved to a nicer room. Second, there was a recurring fire alarm issue—one day it went off for several hours, and on another, it lasted a couple of hours. It was disruptive and frustrating. Additionally, the front door keypad lock to enter the building was broken - usable, but broken (see image). On the positive side, the staff was responsive and easy to reach. Parking was free and plentiful, which I appreciated. The Del Ray location is fantastic—very close to DC and a charming, walkable neighborhood with everything you need nearby.

Lovely neighborhood and building . No elevator up to rooms on second floor. We had difficulty with the key code lock to our room. This was resolved by a text. Only real problem was the two steep steps up into the bathroom. Could be dangerous at night. We did enjoy our stay. Great places to eat in this very nice area.

If your destination is Del Ray this is the perfect spot. Room is well appointed with nice kitchen and decent bathroom. It is right on mt. Vernon with lots of good dining options.the room is well insulated so barely any noise from the street, even on a Saturday night. Safe neighborhood and nice to walk around. Communication with property manager is easy. Great instructions on how to get in the building and room. Good price as well.

Great location - rooms are worn

Great location in Del Rey area. Safe with loads of restaurants around. Good parking in back. Easy to get in/out. But 
 the place is showing its age and lack of maintenance. We changed rooms because the AC wasn’t working, carpet was disgustingly stained the bath was very mildewy. The virtual help desk was on it and they moved us in 5 mins. The second room’s AC was functional and the bath wasn’t filled with mildew but it was still quiet worn on the tables, sink chipped, carpet badly stained, missing handles and draw pulls - all seems like thing the management company doesn’t care to address in order to maximize profit. The onsite cleaners did a good job and the small lobby was sparking and smelled amazing each day.

I was desperate having worked almost 24 hours straight and my flight was cancelled. I booked this place last minute with no refund clause. This place was disgusting. The couch was covered in stains of god knows what, along with the carpet. the shower base was mildewed. I slept with the lights on and fully dressed. There is no check-in. No one on-site to complain too. Traveler beware.

I loved the location of the property. I was right in the middle of Del Ray and it's beautiful main street of Mnt Vernon. The distance to Old Town and DC was perfect and there were bus stops right across the street for you to catch to the metro. BUT the room itself was not great. I felt like I was swindled and catfished. The property and the room was nothing like what was pictured on the website. The images on the website and what you see advertised on Expedia is a bright and clean space with tasteful, minimalistic, modern décor. Well, it was the same décor as in the pictures but everything was dingy, poorly maintained, stained, and not cleaned. For example, when I pulled back the covers to inspect the bed like you would in any place, there were stains on the sheet and on the pillow case. But the worst part was that the fabric headboard had human and dog hair all over it from previous guests. Another thing that grossed me out was the mold in the shower and the carpet that had ripples in it from where it was coming off the floor and stains all over it.

Kasa Del Ray was a perfect selection! They were very accommodating and prompt. The location was close to so much plus a cool restaurant right next door. The parking was great! Just an overall enjoyable stay. I plan to stay there again when I visit the DMV.

Heart of Del Ray

This location is right in the heart of the lively Del Ray neighborhood. The building itself is quiet and clean. I really enjoyed the neighborhood ambience, The room itself was pleasantly furnished and comfortable, I liked being able to walk everywhere. I would definitely stay there again!

Loved the location. Lots of restaurants and things to do within walking distance - Del Ray market on Saturday was fun to walk through. Unit we stayed in was very comfortable. Bed was amazing. I slept so well. It was also nice to have a parking spot on site. No street parking. Close to my daughter. She lives about 6 blocks from here. Perfect place to stay

WOW a must stay!!!

We are visiting the east coast from Arizona and I must say, this property was everything! The property was perfect for my husband and I. We were definitely a bit nervous to see there were ear plugs by the bed side, but we never needed them the area was so quiet and peaceful they also had a sound machine by the bed side that was a huge plus in my book. Check in to the property was so easy. You walk out the front door and you are walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, bars and so much more! I do tend to get nervous in new neighborhoods ive never been to, but ive never felt more safe and secure in an unknown place. I hope you love dogs because every bar/restaurant has humans with their dog's. It was so AWESOME. Definitely 10/10. The price was also very reasonable forthe 4 nights. A must stay if you are in the area. In case anyone likes to gamble the MGM casino is about a 12min drive from the property.

My experience was far better than the pictures or listing could even describe. My Honeymoon stay was amazing! Very comfortable and convenient. We loved it and may make it our go to get away when we need a break from the norm!

Good depending on your situation

We needed a last minute place to stay while visiting friends in Del Ray. This was a couple blocks away, was clean, easily accessible, and the virtual check in made this work really well for us. These are renovated studio apartments. In some places the renovations were clearly rushed. The AC unit above the bed had large rough cut gaps between it and the drywall. Tiling and grout work in the shower was already cracking and discolored. The paint was clearly done quickly to freshen up the space without being properly taped or removing fixtures from before painting. The area is quiet and the building is nice. But you will likely hear passing vehicles while in bed at night. It worked well for us and I would stay again. Just want to be clear about what the quality of the accommodations is.

We loved staying at Kasa. It was snowing, and everything at Kasa offered comfort. We were able to cook and enjoy our favorite cuisine without having to go out in the snow to find food. I missed having a blender and a hairbrush or comb in the bathroom. Thank you very much! I highly recommend Kasa and will stay at other Kasa locations in the future.
