In the old city

The hotel is good for a couple days stay in Santo Domingo. It is in the heart of the Colonial Zona. Many restaurants along the strip. The hotel is definitely at a budget price with breakfast.

I stay there because the staff is nice, the food is good, the room is good enough. BUT no internet is a deal killer. Will Not go back again.

The hotel is in poor shape, quite expansive for what it is offering. I'm very surprise seeing that the Accord Group have this hotel holding its flag. The rooms are very small and dust is covering most of the furniture. At the bathroom the toilet was having water all over the floor and the shower was dirty and so small that I could touch the ceiling with my head (I'm 5 11"). Domestic flies were all over the restaurant. Very difficult the neighbourhood. I just stepped outside and was approached by a man offering women and drugs. In minutes later I saw this same man circulating by the hotel area.

Best budget hotel around

Good location and if on a budget this is your hotel. Breakfast was poor so don't bother, although the food from the restaurant is good.

HÎtel bien placé, mais rien à voir avec un Mercure en France (hÎtel **). Nuit trÚs bruyante Couloir jonchée de plateaux durant 2 jours. Pas cher, bien situé, rien de plus.

Worst hotel ever. Dirty, bad service. Bad matrass.

Worst hotel ever. This is not a hotel but a hostel. Dirty, old, bad matrass, no pillows, only 1 towel. This is not worth a Mercure. This is a pure dirty hostel. It was a nightmere !!!!!!

hĂŽtel trĂšs bien placĂ©, chambre minuscule ! Salle de bain lamentable (il faut enjamber la cuvette des toilettes pour aller dans la douche). Pas de prises de courant. Bon buffet petit dĂ©jeuner et personnel trĂšs sympathique. Ne MĂ©rite pas l’étiquette Mercure mais devrait ĂȘtre IBIS

idéal pour découvrir le quartier colonial

hÎtel trÚs bien placé mais équipement moyen. Pas de prise dans les petites salles de bain, une seule sous une table de nuit dans la trÚs petit chambre. Personnel sympathique et trÚs serviable. Petit déjeuner trÚs correct. Mais reste cher pour les prestation qui se rapproche plus d'un IBIS, bar hors de prix (expresso 2,5 Euro)

Noisy next to the club confusing to get to i did not feel safe in the neighborhood. Seem historical but the hotel did not have parking

Not much to say about the room , adequate for a or a couple of nights stay, decent breakfast , now served as advertised 0630 (last time I stayed in the hotel around 0720) , so, all in all, totally ok .

Our belongings were stolen from our room.

The fridge did not work in our room. The location was great. The hot water shower was great. We had our things stolen from our room and all they said was sorry. I was very unhappy about this.
