Quiet resort with great service

Overall the services of this resort was fantastic and have no complaint. Only downside is the pool closing early, food was not great (did not want to eat at the sky bar 3 times a day for four days), and a bit far from everything else (but cab was quite cheap). Not too many people were staying at the resort although it was a busy 3 day weekend. Staff was friendly and the resort was very clean.

Graduation Trip

We loved everything about the Miramar and wished we could have stayed longer. Spectacular views from our room, pool area and restaurant. We booked a suite with a huge balcony, and outdoor hot tub. The bedroom was seperate from the main living space, which was nice for an early riser to get up and have coffee without disturbing others. The rooftop infinity pool is the best! It is fairly small and sits right next to the restaurant, which was fine. Beautiful potted flowers and nice large patio surround it. Very attentive staff who treated us like royalty. The margaritas at the roof top pool were the best! We ate lunch and dinner at the restaurant and thought the variety of salads were the best items on the menu. The hotel is high up on the mountain side, so once you get there you'll feel like you're on top of the world! I think all of the rooms are just as nice, but our suite was enormous. Take a cab down to Pancho's Tacos if you can tear yourself away from this hotel. You will not be disappointed!!

Fanastic Views and Accommodations

Very pleasant experience at this hotel. The views, the rooftop pool and the rooms are absolutely outstanding! Only two things I would hope to see done differently in the future...1. Rooftop pool needs to stay open later for the Adults and 2. All-Inclusive guests had a lot of trouble getting drinks, had to hunt down the wait staff for everything.

Outstanding view

Excellent hotel with gorgeous views and relaxing atmosphere. We discovered new Vallarta going to adventures, trips and excursions. Hiking to the beach right down from hotel provides needed exercise in addition to excellent beach condition and clean water compared to city and northern part of Puerto Vallarta. Will do it again for sure.

View was awesome! Hotel provided shuttle every hour from 8:30 am to 7:30 pm which was convenient . Taxi service 24/7 costs $7 USD not bad if you want to have dinner in town center. The staff were all friendly especially the shuttle driver Jorge! The Sky restaurant has an incredible panorama but too expensive!

View worth dying for

Just checked out of Grand Miramar after a five day stay with my family , we couldn't be happier ---we booked a two b.room suite and upon arrival we got the staff to upgrade us to a three b.room, three bath suite with a kitchen, laundry and dishwasher at no additional charge . The staff was very helpfully , the hotel was just a short ride to town (under ten minutes) where all the restaurants , shopping and beach were located . The restaurants in town provided the best and freshest fish I have ever eaten. We didn't book the all inclusive package but ate our breakfast there. Loved sky lounge bar and sky pool . Mislamoya beach was our favorite . Definitely going there again .

This was our first visit to Grand Miramar Puerto Vallarta and we only had one night to enjoy this fabulous hotel, but will return soon for a longer stay. Jay Johnstone

Unforgettable, Regrettable

I booked the best room at this place, which was the "Master Suite w/ Jacuzzi and an Ocean View." Well, the view was of a torn down building. I expressed my displeasure and they did not care. They told me I can switch to a lower value room, with no make-up in difference. There were no managers on duty to make any decisions. I will not book here again for my next trip unless they can make up for my disappointing getaway.

Remote yet Close

The GM is located high on a hill just south of town. The new tower has large clean guest suites. The views are fantastic from every location. Because of its location, the pools are not as big as those that are down on the beach. The pool on the roof has the best view in all directions. The hotel is close enough to walk into PV. Its only a 5 dollar cab ride back. Worth walk through the old neighborhoods. Food is okay,not great, but it is as good as any resort food I have had. The gym is nice, machines, cardio and free weights.
