Wonderful location for exploring Montepulciano. Loved that we could easily walk from the property to dinner and shops. Owners were very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. Amazing breakfast and the family suite was very spacious.

Hosts were absolutely amazing! The breakfast was unbelievable, rooms very comfortable and very close to the heart of the city. Main piazza is about a 2 min walk. Upon arrival the gost gave us a rundown on the best places to eat and shop in the city, as well as some day trip options in Val D'orcia Thank you for the great stay!!!

Il Tosco is a quiet, clean and charming place to stay while traveling in Tuscany. The common rooms are cozy and the elegant breakfasts are the best we encountered in Italy. This is a wonderful place to stay with a local quality. Well worth the higher cost.

Il Tosca was a very nice property centrally located. Elena was very communicative from before we arrived and provided clear instructions on how to find the property. Angelina was incredibly helpful when we checked in and throughout our stay. Elena’S mother made the most delicious baked goods. We look forwarded to coming back to Montepulciano and staying at Il Tosco again.

The only thing better than the property was the attentive team. An excellent stay, and I would highly recommend the property. The room was spacious, clean, and modern and the overall property offered great services - a kitchen, homemade pastries / coffee around the clock, and a great location to boot. We will definitely be back to stay again!

Magical place to call home in Montepulciano

Amazing place, cannot imagine a better, more magical stay for our group of 5 adults, renting out the whole house. Elena was amazing, gave us great advice for local attractions and helped us by booking dinner reservations and a wine cellar tour. Angelina was also fantastic with our morning breakfasts and other logistics of our stay. Rooms were fantastic, common rooms beautifully designed and spacious, a great blend of historical charm and modern amenities. The breakfast was simply outstanding, felt like royalty with the spread and the uniquely prepared items each of the 3 mornings we were there.

Wow. Stunning hotel. Extremely well thought out with amenities and design, very comfortable. Beautiful common areas. And really, the best breakfast we had in our entire 3 week stay in Italy. Homemade pastries, fresh fruits, meats and cheeses. Cakes and pastries available 24/7 in common kitchen. All included. Wonderful advice for trip planning specific to your interests. What a wonderful stay, wish we could have stayed longer.

Can I rate it more than a 10? LOVED this place! So tastefully decorated. Breakfast made by host’s Italian parents - sooo good! And coming back after a day out - complimentary serve yourself bar and open kitchen with homemade desserts. This place was homey, super clean, and the view from our windows were like something out of a movie set in Tuscany. Also host drew us directions to best places to visit -from Cortona to throughout the Val d’ Orcia region. Truly fabulous.

This grand residence will leave you speechless. Give it at least a few nights, stay here as base to discover the region. Every early morning and evening when tourists are not present you will love the walks and bars.... This host is exceptional. So generous and hospitable they leave something nice to eat in every corner 24/7. From range of fruits, sweets daily pastry to a wine collection and liquors. Their included breakfast by itself is worth €50 with silver cutlery etc. Will definitely come back. Regards

I don’t do reviews, ever. But….. Genuinely one of the best places I’ve ever stayed.( and I have stayed in some amazing places around the world) Nothing was a problem, super friendly, beautiful home cooked food on display with instructions of “if it’s there, eat it”. ( as I did coming in late at night😬) Warm, luxurious, historical, super charming and super clean. Genuinely blown away. Thank you!
