Lovely service but would not recommend
Stayed at the sonder for 4 nights while in Toronto. The pros with this place it's the location and the service.
*Location - everything's close and you can walk almost everywhere
*Service - we had a lovely experience with the service. Even if everything is done through the app, we recieved prompt replies to our questions and issues
However, there were several cons especially for its price.
* The room was nothing like the pictures. Our room was very small and had a window that was facing a wall (?). We couldnt see out so our room was dark all the time. Ironically it had blinds. It was as the room had no window at all. If not mistaken, i cannot see that this is disclosed anywhere. As the room is so small it feels quite claustrophobic
* As the room is so small and the shower is in direct connection to the "main room", the room is constantly humid
* You have to pay for cleaning during your stay
* I can't say much for the overall cleaning as the room was so dark. However, i can for sure say that they don't dust the TV very often.
* Please note that there is no elevator
* The place is connected to a bar (?) And they play LOUD music quite late
In conclusion, we were not happy with our stay as it did not meet our expectations. Would recommend it to someone just wanting a place to sleep for a night or two. However, the service was amazing and would love to stay with sonder but on another location. Overall, i cannot recommend sonder the Beverly
