Property has great views in a wonderful area. The hotel itself is falling apart and unsafe for small children. Would recommend to back packers on a budget.

Amazing views

We loved the views from every part of the hotel, especially our balcony. Very romantic! The beach wasn’t the best, but there are great beaches nearby.

Check in was an easy process but no welcome drink upon arrival as a voucher was given for this to go to the beach bar. Had a 2 hour trip from Ubud there so a drink would have been pleasant upon arrival. With a buggy you get taken to your accommodation. Our room was top floor suite with beautiful ocean views upon my request however our first night there had a rat run from the couch to the wall. Staff came in with mosquito spray which was laughable and i had to show them photos to show them the difference between a mouse and a rat. They moved us next door to the Presidential Suite but room was huge and lacked personal touches with decor etc. Rugs were old and pillows had to be changed a few times which still didn't give a good night sleep. Buffet breakfast was extensive and had lots of options for a varied breakfast. The hot food could have been warmer as it only was luke warm unfortunately but tasty nonetheless. Went on our first night to the beach bar to get the welcome drink. It lacked ambience with us being the only table there. We had ordered dinner but had to eat it quickly as it swarmed with bugs and insects. The pool area is beautiful however no staff around to take drink and food orders really. We had to look for them on occasions although menus are put out by the lounge chairs. At 10am the doof doof music started, not loud but not enjoyable either. I love this music normally but perhaps for this location and clientele it may be nice to have this after 3pm.

Ett helt okej hotell med supertrevlig personal. Lite smĂ„saker som störde sĂ„som att det inte var â€Ă¶ppet” att hyra en kanot en lördag. Var svĂ„rt att fĂ„ veta nĂ€r det var öppet. AvslĂ€ppt vid fel hotell av ”shutteln” det var mörkt och jag gick bara ur eftersom han bara skulle stanna vid vĂ„rt hotell. Det löste dock hotellet snabbt och hĂ€mtade mig. Maten okej. Kanonfin pool. Inget lyxhotell men fin miljö och mysig personal.

Mycket fint och lyxigt hotell i ett lugnt omrÄde!

Hotellet och sviten som vi bodde i var underbart! Mycket serviceminded personal och ett lugnt omrÄde att bo i! dock en aning dyr mat och dryck i förhÄllande till de lokala priserna.

Not as good as expected

I have been following the hotel for 7 years and finally had a chance to visit Bali and stay in the hotel. When I arrived the hotel, I realised that I had to climb the slope to check in. The 2 guys at the lobby saw me carrying heavy luggage to climbe but didn't offer any help. One guy looked at me for 3 times but turned away his head every time. This left me a poor first impression and I won't rate you high regardless how good the hotel is. After I arrived the lobby, one of the 2 guys came and offered to help with the luggage, I was so frustrated and rejected the help. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, but the 2 guys ruined your reputation a lot. The room was spacious, but some details were not good. For instance, there is no hand wash liquid which is uncommon. No bath salt is provided though there is bath tub. My wife was sick and need to see doctor on the day of check out. The hotel wasn't busy, but I was only given half an hour extension for check out which is inconsiderate. The hotel looks old and not well maintained. I believe it used to be very good but it is no longer the case. The view is fantastic but there are very limited activities in the hotel. I don't think I will return again.

Fall asleep to the sound of ocean waves

Spent a wonderful 6 days at Ulu Segara in Nusa Dua, staying in the Ocean view suite room. Beautifully proportioned rooms and lovely furnishings with incredible view of ocean (huge windows with balcony to enjoy the afternoon cocktail and read a book). Fall asleep to the sounds of the waves and sea breeze. Staff were friendly, very accommodating and professional. Definitely recommend.

The view was amazing. However, for the price and as it is listed as a 5 star hotel, the quality of the property is very run down and I was very disappointed. Expedia, I have always been happy booking through you but you should really investigate the properties you list as a 5 Star as I was very disappointed.

Beautiful place to stay

Great time and a beautiful place to stay. One thing to note is the pool area only gets sun in the morning hours as they are on the south side of the island. Also, the beach is not very walkable as it is coarse sand and you sink in very deep. But if you stay on the property the whole time you will enjoy it, and the view is excellent.

We had an amazing stay at this resort! The location is perfect—quiet, with beautiful views, and the restaurant/bar serves delicious food. The room was fantastic—spacious, clean, with a comfortable bed, and the bathrooms offered stunning views. Additionally, the friendly staff made us feel welcome and attended to our needs promptly. Their personal hospitality added a special touch to our stay. We had a fantastic time and will definitely choose to stay here again next year. Shout out to the kitchen/bar and room service staffs! All of you should get a raise! Cheers :)

The hotel is in a stunning cliff front location. The staff are friendly and helpful. Not the newest hotel, but well maintained with character. The food is 7/10, the breakfast is great though. The hotel can be quiet, we wanted that, however a blue bird taxi will take you to Nusa Dua shopping district for 50k. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Thanks
