A lovely place to stay!

I really liked the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful - especially at the start of my stay when they went the extra mile to help with my taxi from the airport. During my stay they were also helpful with suggestions about what to do in Naples and courteous and friendly in the mornings at breakfast. The hotel is very clean, smart and contemporary looking whilst also being a historic building. I really liked the central courtyard that is also a dining area. Breakfast was good and there was always a lot of choice of food. Food is also served in the evenings at the hotel. The menu wasn't huge, but the food was very good and reasonably priced. The adjoining bar is very popular and has a terrace with a view out over the bay. The room was clean and smart. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a good shower. The hotel is within walking distance of three funicular lines down into the centre of Naples and also the park of the Villa Floridiana is 2 minutes away whilst the beautiful and interesting Certosa di San Martino and the Castel Sant'Elmo, both with stunning views over the city, are about a 15 minute walk.

Excellent hotel located in a beautiful zone of Naples. Great transportation option with subway 3 blocks from the hotel. General maintenance of hotel is good. We found two issues, the sink was not draining properly and the TV remote was missing batteries. Those issues were corrected immediately by the hotel staff. It neeeds better logistics for breakfast where cutlery is difficult to find, there is only one salt recipient or sometimes a door to access breakfast is closed and difficult to open if you have your hands busy. Those are minor details. It is one of the best hotels in NĂĄpoles and very well located. The area is safe. very well maintained for Naples standards and great night environment with restaurants and walkable streets.

Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommended! I had an excellent experience at this hotel and would gladly stay here again. The entire property was spotlessly clean, and the surrounding area felt safe, quiet, and well-kept. It’s also conveniently located near bus stops, making it easy to get around without a car. The staff were exceptionally attentive and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile and truly made me feel at home. Their service added a personal touch that really stood out. The room was spacious and comfortable, with simple but functional furniture that met all my needs. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was a big plus during warmer days. The bathroom was also generously sized, featuring a large shower with excellent water pressure. The buffet breakfast was a highlight, offering a wide and fresh selection of both sweet and savory items, something for everyone. Overall, this hotel offers great value, comfort, and hospitality. I definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a clean, safe, and well-run place with great amenities and service!

Il Chiostro San Francesco ù un luogo incantevole, dove storia, arte e silenzio si fondono in perfetta armonia. La struttura ù curata nei minimi dettagli, pulitissima e immersa in un’atmosfera di pace. I dintorni sono splendidi, con una vista mozzafiato sul Golfo. Un’esperienza indimenticabile! Torneremo sicuramente lì nel nostro prossimo soggiorno a Napoli!

We had a wonderful 2 night stay here. The view was fantastic- we had a corner suite with a view of the sea. The front desk was so helpful with restaurant recommendations and organizing a taxi for our early morning departure. We highly recommend this property!

My wife and I stayed 2 nights early October and everything was great. The hotel is well located in Vomero and the room had the best view of the water and Capri. Luigi was AMAZING, very helpful during check in and helped us make a reservation to a restaurant that we were eyeing. If you like a place with charm and don’t mind being located further from the water, I strongly recommend.

We were delighted by this hotel and the helpfulness of the staff. It’s a walkable distance from the subway (or funicular) even pulling carry-on wheeled luggage. It’s located in a lovely residential area, near two pedestrian streets that are alive with restaurants, shopping, etc. — hugely popular with locals. We loved spending time here. The hotel itself was unique, being a former cloister — and everything was well maintained and beautiful. Lovely location, high above the harbour with a nice cafe terrace overlooking it. Its location is a serene contrast to the liveliness of the older city below. I would stay here again for sure and will recommend it to any friends heading for Naples.

I would highly recommend Chiostro San Francesco. The hotel is lovely, quiet and very clean. Our room is tastefully decorated and pretty big, the only downside is that the safe box in the room is tiny. It is not bolted down so you can just pick it up and take it away. Staff is friendly and helpful. It is located in a lovely part of Naples, we felt very safe. Close to shops, restaurants, funicular and the metro. We would definitely stay there again.

Je viens de quitter cet hĂŽtel, j’y suis restĂ©e pendant 4 nuits. Notre expĂ©rience a Ă©tĂ© merveilleuse. PremiĂšrement, la localisation de l’hĂŽtel est trĂšs centrale et, d’ailleurs, il se trouve dans un des plus beaux quartiers de Naples, alors il y a des transports Ă  proximitĂ©, ainsi que des activitĂ©s, des magasins et des restaurants Ă  distance de marche. La vue sur la baie de Naples Ă  partir de la terrasse ou Ă  partir du bar est vraiment Ă  couper le souffle. Ensuite, le personnel est trĂšs accueillant, souriant, flexible et ils ont plein de ressources, ils sont capables de rĂ©pondre Ă  toutes les questions. La chambre Ă©tait plus grande que j’aurais pu attendre, bien meublĂ©e, trĂšs Ă©quipĂ©e, confortable et impeccable. Le petit dĂ©jeuner est abondant et dĂ©licieux. Le bar est trĂšs sympathique et la nourriture est bonne. Bref, je n’ai aucune rĂ©serve pour recommander cet hĂŽtel.
