We enjoyed our stay. There were only a few problems we ran into, like the elevators kept tearing up and we’d have to take the stairs where there was no air flow. Long waits at the elevators.

Landmark resort is trash

Property had bedbugs, not maintained run down falling apart. Resort personnel was rude and did very little to make up for anything. Would highly recommend staying at a different resort

Well for starters we didn’t have ANY TOWLES when we first got there, and second the elevators barley worked, 3rd the waterpark was only open till 4 & the major thing was the ac unit barley worked!!!!!

Checking in what's supposed to be next 4 was told.Housekeeping was still playing in the room that it'd be another 15 minutes.I would get a call back 2 hours later.No one still had cold so I had to go up back to the main office in order to get a key to our room.Get to the room and room is still nasty.Hawai's and balcony smell like piss. Then after paying for tonight i steped out the room only to have my children to call an say that we were not suppose be there and that they dont give free stays that they had to leave when the room was paid for. Instead of doing an investigation and getting their information together, they decided to tell the person's business who rented the room to children. They are rude and my children felt like they didn't even want to be there anymore just to the situation an how they were talked to. They felt uncomfortable after the situation and dont even want to go bk to this hotel again.

Stayed 6/15-6/19 2 adults and 2 children under 10 years old. Overall our stay was ok. First off the place is like a maze and centered more to what i feel like are time shares so the feeling i got from front desk staff was like i was a bother to be there as a non time share guest since i didn't want to attend the "open house". Room had flaws as many older resorts/hotels do (carpet torn, shelving supports falling from wall, mini fridge needed a defrost, typical hard bed etc.) Oh well we go for the beach anyway an just need a room to sleep in. On to the beach, Myrtle was nice as always but not all hotels have the best access to the beach. Landmark had direct access from the middle of the resort so that was good. Keep in mind if you have a beach cart it is difficult because there are steps. We decided to take the public access beside it because there was a ramp but that meant going out the front of the maze and around the building. While you navigate through this resort you left with 8 elevators. 2 at the lobby, 2 in the back near the beach, and 4 on the east tower. The most common being the 2 near the beach. 1 elevator was down at the beach side so wait times on this elevator was long and from what it sounded like it has been down for awhile. Pools was nice including the lazy rivers and multiple hot tubs. I was however disappointed that the tiki bar was only open select hours and not in the evening. I guess my expectations was high since it was a "resort". Scrambled review..Sry

Very nice amenities for families. Rooms could really use an update. Very compact but plenty bed space. Just needs an upgrade on kutchen and Bathrooms... most rooms seem private owned & you can tell. Because no rooms gets serviced automatically everyday you have to call b4 a certain time or go to the fron counter afrer hours. About a 10 minute drive from the boardwalk with the big ferris wheel. Bathrooms are old and floor is all no carpet so the room always felt damp.

Everything that was said is true

My experience at Landmark Resort was mediocre. Yes, furniture outdated, yes they hold on to towels for dear life and yes, the elevators take a century. I even had to ask for a new trash bag and for someone to take out the trash.

The staff was very disengaged. Checking in there was no directions on how to get around the property. Which all was very confusing. The walk way from the garage which is level 3 goes to level 4 of the hotel. One set of elevators will take you to the ground floor where the bar and where the serve breakfast is located if you can find it. Took us 30 min of walking around with no one around to help us. The other set of elevators will take you to the pools. Which are absolutely disgusting. My wife currently has a bacterial infection from. (I know this because we both ate all the same things. Only difference with us was she went in the lazy river inside and I did not). The water just looked dirty. Most other guest were ether smoking weed or being loud all night slamming doors playing music one guest even pulled a fire alarm which made the already slow n dis functioning elevators not work even more than that already weren’t. The staff seemed to just let the other guest do whatever they wanted. I will NOT be staying again. Beds were super uncomfortable felt every spring.

We had no less than 3 things we needed to fix upon entering the room. Toilet wouldn’t flush but husband fixed it. Phone didn’t work and bed didn’t have blankets. When we tried to cook a pizza the stove wouldn’t adjust to the right temp and almost burned down the room when the temp kept changing and the smoke alarm went off. The kids made a game of catching ants and spiders and we even found a huge moth behind the bed. The elevators were so humid and no AC. Also no soap in the bathroom. I will say the pools were fun and the kids enjoyed themselves.
