Great location, you can walk everywhere, but I slept 3 days with ear plugs as the street in noisy every night, but I would still recommend it as location is fantastic.

My family and I stayed at Sonder Los Arcos in Barcelona for about a week. The room was stunning, with a private patio and a large bathroom. It was beautifully designed and immaculately clean, and it was spacious enough for three adults. The staff were incredibly helpful, arranging taxis to the airport and providing many great recommendations for the city. I would definitely stay at another of their locations.

We loved our stay! Quick and helpful and convenient staff via message whenever needed. Helpful and convenient luggage storage even after our stay so we could explore more. Loved our room - kept very clean and loved the style. Only downside was the noise of the night-life around us and the rest of the building, but we soon got used to it and what can you expect when you’re so close to La Rambla! Would definitely stay again! Thank you!

Our room was very clean and the beds were nice and comfortable. Hotel staff was extremely friendly, accommodating and super efficient. We truly enjoyed our stay!! Thank you so much! - It was difficult to shower without wetting half the floor. Perhaps extending the glass wall or enclosing the whole shower door/area.

It was in a fun neighborhood -Gothic Quarter. You can't take a taxi directly to it. There are many restaurants on the Plaza nearby, most of which are touristy. The property is well insulated and brand new, although you could still feel some vibrations late at night. Small room, but adequate.

If you’re looking for that authentic *medieval* Gothic quarter experience, this is the place for you! When we arrived, we were greeted by a strong stench of *raw sewage.* No staff available to resolve the issue. Fun for the whole family!

I would encourage travelers to avoid this property! It’s split into 2 buildings, and our room was in a building with no lobby, no staff, and our room was barely large enough for the bed it contained. After the first day our complaints finally got us moved to another Sonder property 10 minutes away that was wonderful. But this property should be avoided!!

Our room was beautiful and well taken care of during our stay. Customer service was 10/10! Location is great for walking and restaurants. Main complaint is the street noise. You could hear everything going on outside at all hours including loud yelling, club music, and any other movement or construction. Even with earplugs, the sound of the bass from the club kept me up until 7am, then as soon as it stopped, the sound of the street cleaners and workers was next. If you are a heavy sleeper, this place is fantastic, but if not, I would look into a quieter area. If this hotel could look into sound proofing the windows, it would be perfect!

We stayed three days in this Sonder, which is by Placa Reial. It is the worst experience with respect to noisy neighborhood, the room is not at all sound proof and we had no sleep all three nights we stayed here. If you are staying here to party all night, this is the perfect spot. Otherwise, you will hear very loud party noise until 4 AM or so. Room had no hot water for one of the days. Overall, we were very disappointed. Location is closest to everything and is on La Ramblas street which is convenient to get to tourist spots.

The hotel was easy to find. It's more like an air B&B than a hotel. No conceirge desk. No one to greet you. They were very responsive via text if you needed them. The location was great. We had a balcony that overlooked an alleyway. The room was very clean and beautiful. The only issue...super noisy!!!! There's a square just at the end of the alleyway and you could hear everything going on. They provide earplugs but they really didn't help. The street noise was unbearable at times. There must be a nightclub nearby and all you could feel was the bass of the music. It was very difficult to sleep.

Cute hotel nestled off an alleyway in one of the most liveliest areas of Barcelona. Our room was situated on the first floor and literally could hear all of the nightlife outside my window till late in the morning. This includes all the fights and drunk singing, etc from all of the patrons partying. If you are looking to get any rest in Barcelona, this place is not for you. Hotel had good amenities but I’d advise to stay away if you are a light sleeper. There’s a reason why there is a white noise sound machine placed inside the room. Other than that, location is central and easy to explore off La Ramblas.

The room was nice, recently renovated, and well-kempt. However, the layout was tight and could have been designed better. The shower has no real rim so the water leaks out onto the bathroom floor. We had to use towels to mop up water after each shower. There was no place for us to hang towels. The counter in the bathroom was small and there was no shelf above it so we had limited space to put our toiletries. The bed was extremely loud. Every move we made made the boards under the mattress creak. There were no luggage racks. There were way too many light switches controlling the lights which made it difficult to turn on/off the lights we wanted.

This Sonder location could not be better and would be 5 stars with the exception of my first room 103. There was an immediate dank / wet smell to the property on entrance that permeated up to our 2nd floor and into our room. The room itself was nice, however the bed in 103 was so pound and creaky every time you rolled over it kept me up most of the night, combined with the dank odor and noise from the nightclub, the first night I got no sleep. I did reach out via the Sonder app and had immediate response at 4am. He came to the room and promptly moved us at 4am. Once we got to a higher floor everything was fine. The bed was comfortably firm, great shower and lighting. The area cannot be better. You are in the hub of Las Ramblas and a great place to find food, bars and a walk to the shopping district. You can catch the hop on hop off bus about 15 min walk away and the taxis drop is just a few feet from the entrance. Overall had I started with the higher level room this would be a 5/5 experience. Ricardo at the front desk was excellent and very customer service oriented. I would stay at this location because of the customer service , location and hotel accommodations. I hope they can reduce the odor at the entrance and first floors, although with the history of the building it may be just architectural. Enjoy Barcelona
