Underbar husbÄt vi gÀrna kommer tillbaka till

Underbar husbÄt. Mysigt att sitta ute pÄ dÀck och Àta pÄ morgon och kvÀll samtidigt som vi tittade pÄ fiskar, pelikaner och sjökor. VÀldigt bra bemötande frÄn receptionen, och sÄ skönt att kunna tvÀtta lite klÀder. Bra utrymme för hela familjen pÄ fem personer (2 vuxna och 3 tonÄringar). Bra stÀdat och bra med utrustning i köket.

Our houseboat was infested with a severe cockroach problem. My fiancĂ© grabbed a sponge, and smaller cockroaches started crawling all over his hand. Sitting on the couch, we could see them coming up from every crack. They crawled all over the walls, counters, and even came out of the AC units. We paid about a grand to stay there, but we didn’t even get a single night’s stay because of this. We had to find a new hotel at night. This is a complete health hazard, and no one should stay here. They should be shut down until this problem is solved. When we called, the girl laughed at us. Seriously, do yourself a favor and don’t stay here! After waiting for my refund, which hasn’t come yet (it’s been two weeks), I’d like a refund for the stay and reimbursement for the last-minute hotel stay. I should also receive more due to all the food we bought to stay in the boat and had to throw away afterward. Talk about over a grand wasted because of this.

Loved unique houseboat experience rather than normal hotel. Commode is a typical boat/RV type we corresponding smells. A deodorizer spritz after using & keeping lid closed worked wonders. We were there in May being from Las Vegas (basically no bugs) were stunned by the mosquito attacks. Staff was fantastic & very attentive to any requests

While the entry area is lacking appeal and is mostly for staff, our aqua lodge was clean and nicely equipped. It was super peaceful and we saw manatee and tarpon while we relaxed on our little deck. We really enjoyed the area and will definitely be back.

I booked this property to experience something unique it was a house boat in a local marina. It was a local area and you could say the property was a work in progress, it had the house boats, boat rentals and per the write up a lodge which we didn’t see. When we arrived our boat was supposed to be ready but there must have been a miscommunication it was taken care of right away and everything went well the staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and time at the property it was within walking distance to resturant and driving distance to our booked cat boat tour.

Staying in a houseboat was a new experience for us. It was comfortable and clean. Toni at the desk was wonderful and very attentive. The price for the Keys was better than average. We're glad we made the choice!

This was a new experience for us and my expectations were high due to the great reviews I read prior. I think if I adjusted my expectations I would have felt better. We had no issues and we had everything we needed so it was fine. The issues? Cockroaches! I get that this is Florida and it’s on the water, but cleanliness and proper pest control would help this problem. And just little details that need to be given attention to- for example, all the curtains were wrinkled, the ceiling fan needs to be cleaned, the walls and ceiling in the bathroom need to be cleaned. The details matter. Overall, it was fine, but I wouldn’t recommend to my family or friends.

My family and I LOVED our stay here! The aqua lodges were super clean, the staff was awesome, and the views were great! We enjoyed having our breakfast on the deck watching the sea life (manatees daily) and ending our days in that same place enjoying time together! Will definitely be back!

Roaches and broken blinds spoiled the stay.

We are not a fussy family at all, but were very dismayed due to seeing four (4) roaches running around our very first night in the unit. We stayed in the Manatee boat/lodge and also blinds on the windows were ALL broken and tattered. When we pointed out the issues, management offered, and did, move us to another unit the following day and mentioned they had blinds they could install to replace the broken ones. Quite disappointing and disturbing. There is no way they were unaware of the roach situation.
