Paper thin walls on floorboards!

It’s a shame. The room is beautiful, but I had an interconnecting door to another apartment. The light comes through the surround of the interconnecting door and the sound was like they were in the room with me. I felt like I had to not make a noise as they were having a D&M and felt so rude.

Check in process was difficult and initial call to provide CC auth I was told to wait and try the app again Communication about noise below (concrete drilling at 7:30am) did not happen. Just an email to say works we’re happening would have been fine

Unfortunately, this stay was appalling. My virtual key didn't work and I was locked out of my Apartment at 10.45pm, called after hours and was advised I had to wait for 25 minutes for security to arrive and give me access. Security was great, however the follow up with a staff member called Harry, was unacceptable. He came down to the property the following morning as I wanted to pop out of the apartment and wanted to ensure i could get back in. He blatantly insisted that there was nothing wrong with my digital access and that i wasn't holding it correctly. I was able to access the building entry as well as lift entry, holding my phone the same way that I attempted room entry. Both times i was given remote access (It also happened upon arrival) my digital key worked fine straight afterwards but after a few hours it stopped working and said "No locks found' Harry insisted that it would say "access denied" if it wasn't working properly, but i repeatedly expressed to him that even security attempted entry with my digital key and it didn't work for him either. Extremely disappointing managemet

Goodwood Hotel helpful tips from a guest.

My son Michael booked the accommodation for me his mother, on his phone, with his credit card. This complicated matters. I found the instructions sent to me on how to book into a hotel without reception, difficult, especially as it was saying to book in 48hrs before arriving. I contacted a chat available, but they were unable to help and said your number wasnt answering. I didnt know how to obtain the Code as there was a delay with emails coming through. I had to wait until l was with my son to have him assist with the instructions to register, but again the Code was delayed being sent etc.... It was very stressful.. I had to get him to set up and show me how to access the KEY on my phone....and actally do the whole process of front door, lift and apartment room door, so as l could then do it myself. Im sure lm not the only one to have problems and so a easier, more simply process with a reliable go-to if one needs help and with a quicker response process, would be a whole lot more user friendly. Anyway the apartment room was wonderful, overall. Maybe a small lounge chair to sit comfortably on would be nice. Also staff need to speak more quietly in the corridors in the mornings as some quests such as myself like to sleep in. I had a locked door in my apartment which is obviously an extra room if so required by dual rooms....the staff were very noisy in there while cleaning etc Overall the facilities provided in the room had everything l needed for a comfortable stay

Great place to stay with lots pf room and great value walking distance to trams & buses heaps of restaurants at your finger tips. The only down fall was the noise from the main road if you shut place up it was quite good

Avoid hotels with no staff and only remote key.

Tiny room with no space for luggage. Tiny table in kitchen folds against the wall for space. Only seats inside low, concrete, stools. Only way in is with a smart phone e-key. My wife could not leave room because she doesn’t have a smartphone. We were locked out the day before checkout because e-key expired early. Difficult to reach customer service. If this happened after hours we would have been locked out on the street all night.

Apartment was well equipped and very well presented. We loved it and will be back in future. Super Close to shops, supermarkets and even a playground. Can be a bit difficult in peak traffic to go in and out, just need to be careful. Lift is a bit small but may be it’s the usual size. Thanks for having us.

Location was great, but the biggest let down was the cleanliness of the property! We found hair on the floor in the shower, rubbish left behind on top of garbage bin that cleaners failed to check! Missing cutlery pieces etc! And the Justin Mobile was a bit inconvenient as only one person can have the app, not exactly family friendly especially when travelling with kids! The Apartment itself was comfortable and modern!

Check in experience was terrible. I follow the instruction to download the app to do the check-in but its not work... Contacted the accommodation for assistance. The staff requested me to drive 25 mins to their office to handle it!??? What? I rejected and the problem was solved finally (used more than 30 mins to fix it!!!) The room was clean and tidy. The facility was poor. The only lift in the accommodation was broken on my check out date. I have to carry the luggage all the way from my room (1/F) to the car park... Terrible
