It was the perfect place to stay during our short trip to Grand Haven! The room was decent size and the view was very pretty. Easy check-in/checkout. Very clean and you can’t beat the location! Will stay here again!

My spouse and I agreed that this is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. The rooms were spacious with large windows and a slight view of the river. Being right by the boardwalk and downtown was wonderful. The front porch was awesome as well

Location was perfect right by the river and boardwalk and just a short walk to the lake. Very clean, amazing shower but beds and pillows are quite firm.

The property was perfect for our 4th of July getaway. The location was ideal and walkable to pretty much everything. It was in a quiet neighborhood and the lovely front porch was an added bonus. The view of the lake was beautiful and the inside was super clean and so cute. Highly recommend!

When I searched hotels/suites this place came up & I am so glad to have found it. Love the fact that the bedroom is separated with a door. The whole place was very clean. I also felt very safe in this neighbor

Absolutely perfect place to stay. A street over from all the bars, restaurants, and shopping. Upper Deck suite balcony has views of the boats on the channel, and times of sun and shade. Nice walk to the pier and beach. Good size rooms and bathroom, bonus of a kitchenette. Everything was perfect and would definitely recommend and book again.

Captain's Cottage is super cute! The pictures really dont do it justice. We were a block from the beach. Snug Harbour and Noto's are a must for waterfront dining. Downtown had lots to offer as well and was walking distance to CC. We had to make a trip to Meijer...also very close...and was astonished at the cleanliness and upscale feel of this store. We had a great, although too short stay, at Captain's Cottage.

Very clean, just steps from the lakefront and dining/brewery options. Bathroom was really nice - massive tub. Room was very large. Having a smart tv option could have been a bonus minus just cable. Walls are pretty thin. But otherwise great stay and very communicative property managers. Easy check-in and parking lot a bonus.

Nice quaint cottage

The property itself was very nice. I had the upper-deck and it was very nice and quaint for myself. 1-2 block walk to downtown area. Off-season so, was wonderful and peaceful. I'm sure it's a bit more hectic in the warmer month as I also live in a small beach town. I stayed Sat and Sunday so I don't believe I there were guests downstairs.

Easy to find, great communication via email from the owners. Extremely clean and comfortable, only a short walk to shopping and restaurants. The sitting room with fireplace is so cozy and welcoming! This unit only has a kitchenette, but it is fully stocked with coffee pods and tea, dishes and water. The bathroom is very large and again, extremely clean. The bed is quite comfortable. The unit is up a set of outside stairs, so perhaps not the best choice for persons with mobility issues. All in all, a gorgeous place that I would not hesitate to recommend or visit again.
