Sicilien: hus

We had a very relaxing holiday in Lascari. The property is as described in the add, with nice and very clean rooms and bathrooms, well functioning AC in all bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen with nice seating area outside and a large table inside as well. The garden was very neat and the pool was kept clean. There are two beaches within seven to 15 minutes walk, Spiaggia di Piane Vecchie is the closest, with hardly any people but no amenities so bring your own parasol etc, and Spiaggia Salinelle which is a bit further away but where you can rent sunbeds and parasols and where there is a small bar/restaurant and lavatories. Da Piero is recommended for seafood pasta dishes. The supermarket is within close walking distance. The manager, Salvatore and his family were extremely helpful.

Fantastisk vackert läge. Vidsträckt havsutsikt, trappa ner till privat klippbad med kristallklart vatten. Mycket trevlig värdinna och hennes medhjälpare. Mycket lyhörda på allt vad du behöver. Hjälpsamma. Stugan är mycket liten. Sovrummet är ok men vi var där i oktober när nätterna är svalare. Det kan nog bli mycket varmt där under sommarmånader, Köket är trångt, knappast någon arbetsyta. Svårt att laga mat. Kylskåpet håller dåligt temperatur och behöver frostas av eller bytas. Två terrasser med parasoller. Härligt att sitta där och äta frukost eller njuta av ljumma kvällar. Utemöbler behöver dock förnyas. Flera stolar sönder. De tidigare mycket höga värderingar gjorde att vi valde stället. Vi skulle nog göra det igen pga läget, vi skulle kanske göra det igen men visa förbättringar i standarden är nödvändiga.

We had an absolutely wonderful week at Casa Pergola. The house is fantastic, very well taken care of and with all amenities you could ask for. Outdoor and indoor fireplaces, barbecue, lounge area and an awesome pool. This on top of it being a stunningly beautiful location. The road leading up to the house was an adventure by itself, adding a little excitement to the overall experience. The hosts, Paul and David, are genuinely friendly and caring, always making sure that we were comfortable and happy.

Ett hus med möjligheter till mycket aktiviteter för alla. Stor pool, tennisbana och flera djur som fascinerar de mindre barnen. Trevlig värd som gjorde vistelsen angenäm. Utmärkta möjligheter att laga mat inklusive att grilla. Vi rekommenderar varmt Villa Modica!!

Well-equipped, spacious house with your own private swimming pool. We really enjoyed the location up in the hill away from it all (but still pizza and supermarket nearby). When going here from Palermo, use Walters directions and not Google maps (that will guide you to really, REALLY, narrow and steep roads). Altogether we can only recommend renting Walter's place for your vacation.
