Vår stuga ligger precis på Apple Valley Lake strax utanför Mt Vernon, OH. Sjön är 511 tunnland och är känd för att vara den renaste sjön i Ohio. Det är en vacker miljö. Koppla av och ha det roligt på bryggan med fantastisk utsikt över sjön eller njut av de många aktiviteterna i området kring Apple Valley. This was our second stay at the house. The first time was over a long weekend in October. This trip we stayed a full week in August. The view was great from the porch and the dock. We visited Malabar Farm and the grist mill- both were very interesting. The house is very spacious and accommodated all 8 of us. The registration and payment processes were easy. Mike and Tricia were responsive to questions and provided all instructions when they said they would.We hope to go back in 2026

Just totally awesome. The house has everything you need, having the private dock is a game changer. Relaxing, swimming and fishing a few steps from the house. My family had a great time, one of the best places we have rented in years.

Extended stay for work and play

Preseason lake neighborhood was quiet and private. House was really great, as was communication and coordination with the owners. They were so pleasant to deal with.

Great Christmas getaway with fam!

Had a really great weekend here with family to celebrate Christmas. Loved all the Christmas decor. The house was good, plenty of room for everyone and had all the amenities we were looking for and the owners were really responsive. The only downside was would have been nice if the fireplace was working but they informed us before.

Wonderful Property

Enough room for 8 guys on a golf trip. The home is beautiful and the views are stunning. It is very clean and they have everything you need for great say. Communications were great with Mike and Tricia and they’re wonderful hosts.

Great getaway!

A combination of family and friends stayed at this great home over a three day October weekend. We loved the hominess of the rental and the view of the lake from the deck was fantastic. We did some hiking, tackled the Aerial Park at Mohican State Park and relaxed. The house was close to a Wal Mart for shopping, along with some local restaurants. The owners were great to work with - their responses to our questions were timely and helpful. We are considering reserving time at this house during the summer months next year.

Golfers Paradise

This is the second time my group has stayed at this house and it was as amazing as the last. We are golfers and the amazing courses close by, the serene views from the porch, and the refreshing lake are as good as it gets.

Beautiful Lake House

We had an amazing weekend for the Lake. The weather could not have been any more perfect. The location was perfect from the house to the water. Relaxing and it felt like home. My only complaint is you have to be a member in order to rent a boat being a private Lake. Everything you need is there.

Graduation weekend lake house

Beautiful house in the lake. Great kitchen living set up. Bathrooms were clean and somewhat updated. The closets were musty and lacked places to hang clothes. Overall a great location and space right on the lake.

Another Great Stay

This was our third fall stay at this property and it was great as always. The house is perfect for any occasion. Apple Valley Lake is beautiful and the nearby golf course was amazing too.

Family summer get away

Perfect stay for my family of all ages. The house had plenty of space to relax and beds. It had all the amenities you needed and if you forgot something it had it. Well stocked kitchen. The dock and lake were exactly what we wanted and all needed. Wonderful place to rest and replenish. Would definitely stay again.
