Great apartment and awesome location

This apartment is very comfortable, with modern amenities in a beautiful historic building. The location on the canal is excellent, with restaurants and bars nearby, a short walk from the vaporetto stops and easy walking distance to most parts of Venice.

Such a great place!

The neighborhood is wonderful and the property owner is so kind. Check in was very smooth and communication was perfect. The home has many thoughtful details for travelers, such as adapters left on the entry table, an umbrella in case of rain, and a canvas bag in case you forgot one. We really enjoyed staying here!

Loved it

we absolutely loved it. We stayed in Venice three times total and it is by far our favorite place. Great location, clean, quiet, excellent choice. Very happy we stayed there for four nights in Venice. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Great central location, yet quiet

This lovely property is tucked into the Cannaregio residential neighborhood. Close to the action, but very quiet at night. The canal out front was scenic with different types of boats navigating throughout the day. Would stay here again.

Great location & fantastic apartment

This unit was incredible! The historic first floor apartment is clean & well maintained. It has been tastefully renovated creating an open concept in the living room/ dining/ kitchen area. There are two windows facing and opening up to the canal allowing vast amounts of light, opportunity to hear & see the boats/ people waking past & enjoying the restaurants. Once the windows are closed, you can barely hear anything. In the living room area, there is a huge & extremely comfortable couch, two modern leather chairs, bookcase & art on the wall. A pleasant room to relax in. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal, clean up after, coffee provided & some spices. The primary bedroom has a queen sized bed, extremely comfortable and quiet (farthest away from the street). There is a window that provides fresh air & ample light. The 2nd bedroom has a single bed with a window that is also very quiet & bright. The bathroom is large, has a walk-in shower (no soap or shampoo provided), large sink with small counter, a clothes washer & drying rack. The location of the apartment is fantastic as it’s close to the main tourist areas. There are numerous restaurants to choose from. The apartment is extremely secure & the area feels safe. It is about 15 minute walk from the train station. We highly recommend and would come back.

Great place to stay in Venice!

We loved the location of this property. It is away from the crazy tourist area. There are lovely restaurants right nearby. We were greeted personally when we arrived and provided with lots of information about what to do in the area.

Introduction to Venice

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa di Michiel. The apartment was very clean and modern. The location was perfect for our first time visiting Venice. Close to many restaurants and areas to visit, yet not overly crowded. We loved everything about our stay. I would definitely recommend Casa di Michiel. Lovely appartment

Lovely, well equipped & clean appartment in a good location for exploring Venice. Very helpful host. Less than 10 minute walk from Madonna Dell’Orto vaporetto stop (on orange vaporetto line from airport). Lots of good restaurants & supermarket very near by. Would definitely stay here again!

A Great Location

We really appreciated being in Cannaregio, out of the main tourist areas but near everything including good non-touristy restaurants. The apartment owner, Giovanna, went out of her way to help us with our luggage the last night of our stay -- she's the best!

The apartment is a perfect home from home and very well placed for any and all explorations of Venice. Cannaregio itself has many hidden gems and hosts numerous good places for eating and drinking pleasurably. Thoroughly recommend this apartment!

Excellent location

The property is well located nearby to popular wine bars and restaurants. It has all the facilities you would need, and they are modern and well maintained. It is a 10/15 minute walk to the Rialto and St Marks Square, depending on how much time you spend taking in the sights on the way. Giovanna was a most helpful host.

A gem of an apartment

We loved staying here! The apartment in an historic building with a view of the canal was clean, easy to get to. It was warm and spacious and had a lovely bathroom and very comfortable beds! The host Giovanna was so friendly and accommodating! Look no further if you want to come to Venice and live like a local!

This is an amazing apartment in a great neighborhood. 15 minute walk to St Marks. Loved local places like Anice Stellato & Torrefazione Cannaregio. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Flat for Venice!

Excellent flat right on the canal in a less touristy area. Many restaurants right out the front door and a few grocery stores very close by. We stayed for 25 days and was perfect to relax in after days of sightseeing. The flat has everything you need and the air conditioners in both the living room and bedroom were much appreciated in the hot, humid summer days. Would absolutely stay again!
