Mysig stuga belÀgen pÄ Fox Hill Plantation utanför Milledgeville Ga

Detta gamla hyresgÀsthus ligger 7 miles frÄn Georgia College och State University och Georgia Military College och 10 miles frÄn Lake Sinclair. Det Àr en del av Fox Hill Plantation, som inkluderade 3000 tunnland. Det huvudsakliga sommarplantagen byggdes cirka 1873, under Äteruppbyggnaden. Denna stuga flyttades 2011 frÄn en gÄrd 14 mil bort. Vi remolded och moderniserade det samtidigt som vi behöll den ursprungliga varma stÀmningen. Det ligger 100 meter frÄn huvudhuset med enkel Ätkomst. Det finns ett kök med mikrovÄgsugn, brödrost, kylskÄp och handfat. TvÄ mysiga sovrum med elektriska spisar ger extra atmosfÀr. Den stora dusch och badrumsvask för designade badkar har extra funktioner. Det finns ett vardagsrum intill köket med TV och DVD-spelare, plus bord för att Àta och spela och koppla av och prata. . En favoritfunktion Àr verandan som har en vind de flesta dagar, och utsikt över huvudhuset, betesmarker och skog med mÄnga vÀlskötta stigar att gÄ pÄ böljande kullar. Gott om parkering i stor betesmark för bÄtvagnar.

The little cottage was absolutely perfect for our weekend getaway. The shower is an unexpected surprise & the bed/pillows were super comfortable. The property is so peaceful, we will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

A magical cabin where we were instantly able to relax. The inside felt much larger than than the outside suggested. Beds were nice and comfortable with a shower that's next level. We come to this area for an event every year. Will definitely be booking this going forward.

Very private and quiet, comfortable beds, lovely shower. Only a few minutes from historic Milledgeville. So wonderful to sit on the porch and listen to the silence at night. House is a restored post bellum tenant farmer house. Much of the original wood and interior construction technique is still visible.

This cottage was nice and quiet. Great location to get away but also close enough to restaurants if you wanted to go out. I enjoyed the privacy. Definitely would stay again if in the area.

Owners are retired from healthcare and business careers. We enjoy our home built in 1873 which we restored in 2003. We moved the cottage from a farm 14 miles from here and restored it in 2011. It is 100 years old with very nice modern improvements, yet it retains the atmosphere of the tenant house that was home for a family for 80 years. We have 160 acres at the dead end of Fox Hill Rd.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

This property was a crop and livestock farm in the 1800's. We have open pastures, pines and hardwoods, and describe it as an Island away from the frenzy. Most used word by guests to describe it is PEACEFUL.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

LOCATION. In the country yet less than 10 minutes from downtown, GCSU, GMC and many restaurants, move, and mall.
Only 15 minutes from Lake Sinclair.
