Property as a whole: Clean, basic, nice having shop on premises to make purchases, rentals.
Our condo: filthy entrance walking up to door, door would not shut on its own, you constantly had to turn to make sure you slammed it shut.
Condo was clean, but very worn and tired looking. Everything was very basic. The couch was very worn, you could feel springs when you sat down, and when we tried to sleep on it one night so we could hear the ocean waves (you couldn't in bedroom), we lasted about 30 minutes, it was so horrific.
Creative photos for bathroom - is extremely tiny, and again, worn. Towels had bleach stains, linens on bed had bleach stains.
Gear - Tommy Bahama chairs might have been nice once, but the zippers were corroded, didn't hold anything, very worn. Had two sets of fins but only one face mask, so had to rent equipment instead.
Kitchen - clean, but worn - sink did not drain and garbage disposal did not work. Again, basics.
Overall, as said above, outside of the entrance to the unit (filthy, dirty, needed cleaned, vacuumed, repainted), the unit itself was clean, just worn and very basic. Living, dining, kitchen and bedroom were nice size, bathroom was disappointing. Marco was absolutely awesome at letting us in early - we asked for 3:00 versus 4:00 (although all the paperwork in condo says check in is at 3:00, so you might want to update that). He rocked it!
Unit was nice and quiet and A/C worked nice - would have been nice to have more than one fan in the unit - we kept having to carry it from the bedroom to the living room and back.
Also, we told them this was our honeymoon - I don't expect fancy service - I know we're not staying at the Hilton, but it was like "that's nice".
Lastly, I messed up on the dates and had it for Monday through Saturday when I should have done Sunday through Friday. When I asked them about changing, understandably they couldn't, someone else was there before us, but they quoted they were within the "no cancelation" portion/time frame - seriously - I made a mistake, we weren't trying to cancel, we just didn't want to pay for a night we weren't going to be there. They said they'd see if they could rent and let us know - they never did - they also said that was up to VRBO - the mixed message was confusing.
Overall, would not stay again - but we had a wonderful honeymoon - just future renters beware - this is bargain basement.
