"Scandia House Loft" var ett kärleksarbete, det tog två år att återställa detta förna glädjehus. I restaureringsprocessen upptäckte vi gamla mynt, horor, gamla tidningar, tränicklar och andra artefakter. Det lämnade oss med denna vackra plats i centrala Hamilton, Montana över The Blodgett Canyon Cellars Wine Bar and Tasting Room ... vi har lagt till ett härligt 2: a våningsdäck med tillgång till taket lounge med en fantastisk utsikt över Bitter-root och Sapphire Mountains. Ski weekend

Having stayed here before we knew we wanted to come back. The perfect location for former valley residents. Walking distance to all of town and the river. Plus only rooftop deck and view in town. Unique property well equipped for a restful stay. Can’t wait to come back again…maybe in June!!!

Great apartment convenient to everything Hamilton

This is our 6th or 7th time staying here and it’s perfect for us. The hosts are great, leave bouquets of flowers and extra food in the refrigerator so it’s always so welcoming. The location is great at the corner of Main Street and Hwy 93. There is a Safeway across the highway for convenient groceries and lots of shops and restaurants in the downtown area.

Great apartment and location

This is our 5th or 6th stay in the apartment. It’s perfect for us, right downtown, well equipped and comfortable. Craig is easy to contact with any question that comes up. We’ll be back next year.

Scandia House Loft is Wonderful

The Scandia House is beautifully decorated in downtown Hamilton. Craig (owner)had breakfast items stocked in the refrigerator along with coffee, candies, crackers, ice-cream etc. Charming atmosphere. We loved our stay!

Amazing Property

This is one of the best VRBO properties we’ve ever stayed. It’s in the center of town, masterfully stocked with every amenity imaginable and the host Craig is incredibly welcoming and accessible. It wildly exceeded our expectations. A real gem.

This is my 4th or 5th stay. I get back to Hamilton once a year and if I can, book my travel around an opening at Craig’s property for all the reasons that others have mentioned. Quality and service are consistently high with lots of nice touches!

Wonderful accomodations. Perfect location!

The apartment was really very lovely, decorated nicely and very clean. The refrigerator was stocked with breakfast items and lots of condiments, salad dressing, yogurts and much more. Wonderful kitchen with everything you need to cook if you choose to. The unit was larger than expected and there was plenty of room for the four of us to have our own space. We loved the history of the building and area. It is within walking of wonderful shops and stores and several restaurants. The two decks off the back are wonderful for gathering spaces. The only negative for some people would be the 22 steps from the outside up to the apartment door. We all would definitely recommend this property. Thank you, Craig!

A spectacularly fun getaway!

The Scandia House was the perfect home away from home for 4 adults. In the heart of downtown Hamilton, all amenities are right there. Everything you need for your stay is included, and the two outside patios make for a lovely summer oasis to relax and take in the gorgeous views. Craig, the property manager, made us feel so welcome right from the start! We cannot wait to return!!

The stay was outstanding! great communication with the owner during our travel from the Seattle area. Extremely comfortable and very roomy with a full kitchen, living room, bar and 2 bedrooms. Kitchen was appointed with all the tools, living room with TV, and well furnished. Awesome stay!

A showplace!

Love working with Craig and Patty. Wonderful people. Apartment is AMAZING. Lots of room, and every need taken care of. They are so nice to have food and drink ready in fridge for us late arrivals. There is no better place to stay in Hamilton. Looking forward to next visit.

We are an active couple that met in High School and are living the Dream in the lovely Bitter-root Mountains where there are plenty of things to do, Fly fishing, Hiking, Skiing ...Cafe Dining...Art Galleries, boutique shops... I digress, We like to save and restore old buildings together and we add them back to the communities original character.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

My wife and I bought this Property two years ago. It was the 2nd or 3rd brick building on Main Street. The city father "Marcus Daly The Copper King" built the Bank 1st and the Scandia Whore House 2nd or 3rd. In 1897, 120 years ago we didn't know it at the time but, we bought the downtown religious shrine (Just Kidding). As we took it apart we found old coin, whorehouse tokens and the gabled skylights. It looks like a crystal palace now compared to the dark hole it was. Then we put in a roof top lounge, 2nd floor deck, restored the murals downstairs and opened The Blodgett Canyon Callers Wine Bar. Upstairs we put, in tin ceilings 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. The cozy bar has an 1875 railroad map and club chairs it has a great vibe through out. We put up a 5 piece wainscot to represent the way we felt it would have looked back in the day, I used gold and black oriental rugs all a round. The street side great room has a beautiful gas fireplace and dining area. Well equipped Kitchen with a Black walnut island for your prep work
