"Scandia House Loft" var ett kÀrleksarbete, det tog tvÄ Är att ÄterstÀlla detta förna glÀdjehus. I restaureringsprocessen upptÀckte vi gamla mynt, horor, gamla tidningar, trÀnicklar och andra artefakter. Det lÀmnade oss med denna vackra plats i centrala Hamilton, Montana över The Blodgett Canyon Cellars Wine Bar and Tasting Room ... vi har lagt till ett hÀrligt 2: a vÄningsdÀck med tillgÄng till taket lounge med en fantastisk utsikt över Bitter-root och Sapphire Mountains. Du hÄller med om att det Àr en förtrollande plats att bo ... Vi ser fram emot att trÀffa er alla ...

Great Location with Plenty of Space!

Great location that was within walking distance to great restaurants and ice cream shop. In town for fishing trip with Freestone Fly Shop. Property and fishing were awesome.

Darling apartment in perfect location

We loved staying here! The outdoor area was our favorite part as well as the locations. Beds and pillows weren't our favorite but it wouldn't stop us from coming back.

We had a wonderful stay at the Scandia House Loft. It was very clean and had a wonderful decor. Centrally located in town. The wine bar below was awesome. Will definitely stay again on our next trip to Montana.

Another great stay :)

This is my 4th or 5th stay. I get back to Hamilton once a year and if I can, book my travel around an opening at Craig’s property for all the reasons that others have mentioned. Quality and service are consistently high with lots of nice touches!

Scandia House Loft is Wonderful

The Scandia House is beautifully decorated in downtown Hamilton. Craig (owner)had breakfast items stocked in the refrigerator along with coffee, candies, crackers, ice-cream etc. Charming atmosphere. We loved our stay!

A spectacularly fun getaway!

The Scandia House was the perfect home away from home for 4 adults. In the heart of downtown Hamilton, all amenities are right there. Everything you need for your stay is included, and the two outside patios make for a lovely summer oasis to relax and take in the gorgeous views. Craig, the property manager, made us feel so welcome right from the start! We cannot wait to return!!

I wish my place was this nice!

What a wonderful place to stay! Very safe and clean, nicely appointed, everything you need in the kitchen, and so very comfortable! We especially enjoyed the location: walking distance to fantastic restaurants, shops and the Saturday market. My favorite touch was the ice cream sandwiches!!! Thank you for an outstanding visit--we will be back!

Love at First Sight!

This place is the nuts! We had 3 rather rainy days in Hamilton and this was the perfect place to be inside. Cozy, classy and comfortable! Craig was great! Stocked snacks and breakfast food. I hope we get the chance to stay again!

A great apartment

We’ve stayed here four or five times and always enjoy our home away from home in Hamilton. The apartment is beautiful, pretty large and comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked and some breakfast items are in the fridge. It’s downtown Hamilton by shopping, restaurants and a grocery is across the street. There’s parking in front of the building. Craig is a great host and is readily available for questions and suggestions.

Absolutely Perfect!

Myself, my husband, his sister and her husband all loved our stay. It was perfect for two couples. Everything was so close, we enjoyed walking to dinner or cooking in while there. Craig was amazing and had left everything needed for breakfast as well as lots of ice cream in the fridge The apartment was perfect. Lots of space and the kitchen was stocked with anything and everything you need including a slow cooker. My husband and I loved the wine bar downstairs. We enjoyed Jessica and she gave us so many tips to help our stay. I would not hesitate to stay here again!!

Perfection/Location

We were located above Blodgett Canyon Cellars. This property is not for someone who cannot climb steep steps but ideal for adults without children. The owner was fabulous providing us with a stocked frig and freezer from bacon, eggs, english muffins, coffee, juice, ice cream with little touches such as flowers and candy. We even had a spiritual event with the resident spirit who spoke to us on our anniversary morning...

2nd visit and just as amazing

If you're going to Hamilton and this place is open, you'd be crazy to go anywhere else! This was my second time and I never plan to stay anywhere else when I go there (if its open) from the host to the price to the property to the location this is spectacular find! it is a great spot no matter how many people are in your group. Two goodsized bedrooms with comfortable beds (A/C and block out shades in each room) 2 bathrooms with full tub. Skylights in bathrooms and kitchen is very charming. Kitchen has been stocked well on both visits and the view from the rooftop deck is just stunning! love this place, thanks again Craig!

We are an active couple that met in High School and are living the Dream in the lovely Bitter-root Mountains where there are plenty of things to do, Fly fishing, Hiking, Skiing ...Cafe Dining...Art Galleries, boutique shops... I digress, We like to save and restore old buildings together and we add them back to the communities original character.

view of the Sapphires and the Bitter root mountains from the rooftop, you can see up and down the valley.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

My wife and I bought this Property ten years ago. It was the 2nd or 3rd brick building on Main Street. The city father "Marcus Daly The Copper King" built the Bank 1st and the Scandia Whore House 2nd or 3rd. In 1897, 120 years ago we didn't know it at the time but, we bought the downtown religious shrine (Just Kidding). As we took it apart we found old coin, whorehouse tokens and the gabled skylights. It looks like a crystal palace now compared to the dark hole it was. Then we put in a roof top lounge, 2nd floor deck, restored the murals downstairs and the Ponderosa Wine Bar and Bistro. Upstairs we put, in tin ceilings 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. The cozy bar has an 1875 railroad map and club chairs it has a great vibe through out. We put up a 5 piece wainscot to represent the way we felt it would have looked back in the day, I used gold and black oriental rugs all a round. The street side great room has a beautiful gas fireplace and dining area. Well equipped Kitchen with a Black walnut island for your prep work
