Byggt som en utsökt gÄrd, tÀnkt att delas med nÀra och kÀra i hjÀrtat av den lugna badbyn El Cardonal, erbjuder Casa Rodriguez en orörd sandstrand, simbart klart blÄtt vatten, infinity pool, jacuzzi, tre stora palapas, simma upp bar och omfattande sittplatser och matplatser utomhus. Den totala fastigheten har 6 sovrum med 6 1/2 bad. PÄ gÄrden finns dramatiskt öppna vardagsrum med spektakulÀr utsikt över det levande havet. Casa har riklig verksamhet och privat avkoppling allt kombinerat pÄ en riktigt vacker och obehindrad plats. Los Barriles, nÀrmaste stad ligger ca 30 minuters bilresa bort.
Casa Rodriguez har en vÀnlig och tillmötesgÄende personal som stÄr till din tjÀnst. Vicente Àr din vaktmÀstare och bÄtkapten för att fÄ dig att fiska eller eco-touring. Lupita ger Casa dagliga stÀdservice. Homar erbjuder transport frÄn flygplatsen till Casa. Hans lastbilar transporterar upp till tio personer och bagage. Han kan ocksÄ ta dig med pÄ en mÀngd olika utflykter i hela East Cape-omrÄdet. VÄr personal Àr din concierge. De kommer att ta emot dig pÄ fastigheten och ordna eventuella speciella önskemÄl eller behov under din vistelse pÄ Casa.
Vi rekommenderar Adrianas La Hornilla för alla cateringtjÀnster. Adriana gör ett fantastiskt jobb för att förbereda autentisk mexikansk frukost, lunch och traditionella middagar, samt "lunchlÄdor" för en dag ute till havs. Menyer finns tillgÀngliga som referens, men kom ihÄg att Adriana gÀrna tar sÀrskilda önskemÄl. Hon pratar ganska bra engelska. Mariachi-underhÄllning kan ordnas pÄ begÀran.
Casa ger 4 kajaker, masker, snorklar och fenor i olika storlekar. Vattnet Àr ofta lugnt, Àven sÀkert för barn och det finns ofta ett stort havsliv. Jagarvalar pÄ vÄren. Det finns ett levande rev en kort promenad ner till stranden dÀr snorkling Àr utmÀrkt. Vi har kajakat bland tusentals manta strÄlar.

A VERY Special Place

I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Just magnificently appointed, great pool, beach, rooms, kitchen, staff, great places to eat nearby, easy transportation, great fishing.We only had a couple minor issues that got pretty much fixed. The heater went out on the pool, and we lost a couple of days of pool heat. there were a couple cleaning issues, but Samuel took care of that right away.

Fantastic family getaway

The property is amazing! Excellent location at edge of a tiny, walkable fishing village. Everyone we met was incredibly kind and helpful. The house is WAY nicer than the pictures suggest and we felt VERY comfortable - plenty of space for 3 teens and 7 adults! The home is situated ideally on a quiet beach with comfortable lounge chairs, shaded and sunny areas. We really enjoyed the kayaks and paddleboards. Kitchen setup was terrific for 3 teens and 7 adults, and we got catering brought in a few times (all easy and excellent). Also enjoyed Restaurante El Cheff! There is an extra fridge and freezer in the garage. Supplies are well-stocked. We loved the 4 comparable master suites, plus an ensuite (and another room plus hall bath). Loved the balconies for quiet time. We enjoyed excellent, easy fishing with Vicente, and Lupita kept the house tidy. We would DEFINITELY rent this again and hope to do so, soon!

Great stay at Casa Rodriguez

This was a great spot for three families with young children. The house is great. Really spacious and in wonderful condition. We were happy that there were 4 full en-suite “masters”, which made figuring out how to split bedrooms really easy. The pool and beach situation can’t be beat. Great that the property has kayaks and paddle boards available. Vicente (caretaker and fishing guide) was awesome. We loved eating our fresh catch. Made ceviche and grilled fillets for dinner! Samuel (concierge) was really responsive and helpful.

Absolutely relaxing...

Very nice and large home. It was cleaned every day including the dishes. Very private, amazing sunrises and sunsets. There are three restaurants close which all have great food. I would recommend fishing as we caught alot and Vicente the caretaker/ fishing captain made us sashimi as soon as we returned, really delicious. We had the rest of the fish cooked at a local restaurant for dinner. The water on calm days is very clear and great for kayaking, paddleboarding, and snorkeling which all are provided. Our family had a wonderful time.

Amazing Escape For Our Family

Every year we do a large family vacation. This year we chose Casa Rodriguez and we couldn't of been happier. We all talked about how we would like to return. Food by Adriana was delicious, fishing and laughs by Vicente were memorable, endless days of sun on the beach and by the infinity pool couldn't of been more relaxing. Talk about a place to just get away from it all. The house was also stocked to the gills with anything and everything you could possibly need. Highly recommended. Thanks for the experience!

Private and Spacious yet all connected!

Perfect location for our three families ... 13 of us between the ages of 19 - 59 ... plenty of places to lay your head, en suite bathrooms, lounge chairs at pool and beach, activities in the sea, balconies, etc. This house is super equipped for large groups ... fridge, wine fridge, outdoor beverage fridge, garage fridge, and deep freezer where we stored bags of ice. The pantry held food for our army. Plenty of cookware, stoneware, and flatware. Logistically it was great. Even better though was the fact that we really didn't have to do much other than share flights with Homar who made sure we made to and from the airport ... Samuel who took care of our dinner reservations, shopping lists, and welcome dinner ... Vicente who made sure we had a blast on the boats either fishing or going to 1535 Beach Club and all the other little big things he does on a daily basis ... Lupita who kept the house spotless! This was our first time to the Baja as a family group ... I think we were lucky with the weather as it was sunny, warm, and little wind. We enjoyed the hot tub (paid to have it heated which was totally worth it this time of year!) and the pool (which we didn't heat so it was refreshingly cool). El Cardonal is filled with friendly people who want to make your stay enjoyable! The best part was that no matter where we were on the property ... we all felt like we were together! The beach, the pool, the patio, and the hot tub ... you are all within chatting distance of each other. We hope to come back in the spring or fall to take advantage of the longer days ... Enjoy!

Great time at Casa!

We had a wonderful time at Casa Rodriguez. We weren’t quite sure what to expect, but the house, property and pool were majestic! We had a large group of 14, for my husbands birthday. We spent a lot of the time at the house relaxing, spent a day riding side by sides to Los Barriles, massages on the beach, and the guys had a fishing day with Vicente. (Caretaker that lives behind Casa) Lupita his daughter, cleaned the house and washed towels and sheets daily which was nice. Adriana’s Catering catered our meals, and it was amazing authentic Mexican food. The amount of food was a lot, so we always had leftovers. We did breakfasts and dinners, and there was always enough to snack on during the day if needed. She also made a fettuccine for my husbands birthday and it was out of this world. Vicente was always on hand to help, and a friendly face to make us laugh, and Samuel was good to book things and answer any questions we had. I would highly recommend hearing the pool and soaking tub, we had a couple cooler days and we were so glad to have them heated. I would also suggest to stopping at a store in Los Barriles on your way to the house from the airport and getting everything you need, or want, as the stores close by don’t have much. There was water stocked at the house, which was nice. If you don’t want to stop at the store you can arrange Samuel to go shopping for you, and have it stalked on arrival. We did have Samuel get beverages and ice, so when we arrived that was stalked. Covid testing came to the house for $68 a test, which was handy. Overall a great time, water was a little chilly, and for some reason one of the days there were a lot of jellyfish, but only one day we saw them though. One regret we have is not making it to La Paz, which we have heard great things about, maybe next time :) Overall good stay at Casa Rodriguez!

Best Vacation Ever!

Our yearly summer vacation with our best friends was at Casa Rodriguez this year. Where to begin....from the minute I made the reservation until the day we came home the owners communicated with us and answered any questions we had. There were 4 adults and 4 college age children in our group and there was more than enough room for all of us. The home is extremely well maintained and many extras were provided. We rented cars at the airport, stopped in Cabo for groceries, made it to Casa Rodriguez and never wanted to leave again! The caretaker, Vicente, lives in the casa at the front of the property and was available for anything we needed. We couldn't wait to see what shirt he was wearing each morning! He's very knowledgable of the area and speaks good English. He took us out fishing and that night we were eating fresh fish. We gave the rest of our fish to Adriana who prepared it four different ways for us the next night. Do yourself a favor and get Adriana's number!! Our group has already decided that when we come back (which we hope will be soon) we are only stocking up on liquid and snacks before our arrival and we will have Adriana prepare our meals for the rest of the week. She provided so much food each night that we had enough for lunch the next day. My children wanted to bring her home with us. The pool is to die for and between watching the sea rays leaping in the water, the huge schools of fish and the shooting stars at night we felt like we were truly in paradise. We did take a walk down the road to the hotel for drinks and appetizers one afternoon and I had the best mojito I have ever tasted. We also took the boys down the road to get pizza one afternoon and had great margaritas there and the owner was so friendly! There is not a single thing I would change about this experience. The only negative was having to leave. Many thanks to Madison and Todd for sharing your beautiful home! LAS MEJORES VACACIONES!!!!

What a special place

All I can say is “Wow.” We had an absolutely incredible time. Our family of 15 just loved this property. The pool sitting right off the beach was over the top beautiful and serene. Like others have said
the whole place is even better than the pics show. There are SUPs, kayaks and snorkel equipment which were added bonuses. We loved watching the rays jumping in the sea and grilling our pounds of fish each night outside. Vicente was such an awesome boat captain. We fished 2 of our 4 days but will add more days next time because it was epic! Lupita did a great job with the house cleaning. We really enjoyed getting to know them both. We used Homar, who they recommend, to get us to and from the airport and he was very reliable. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. We are already planning our next stay!

Family reunion

We loved the nice bedrooms with baths. We used the SUP and kayaks every day. The pool was great but would have liked complementary hot tub! Good selection of pot’s and pans but Left over containers are very worn. If we come back we will come here again!

Perfect R & R

The property is beautiful, exactly as pictured. All the appointments are first class. We used the La Dona team for caring and every meal was a surprise and a delight!We had a slight problem with the Jacuzzi and pool heater but Vincente and Samuel worked religiously to get it repaired. Vincenete is the supreme Captain and fishing guide and we were thrilled with our catches of Yellow and Blue Fin Tuna, Grouper,Red Snapper, Trigger Fish and Needle Fish. We had fresh caught oyster for dinner. Vincent and the girls did a fabulous job with the fresh fish. They were al around pros! Lupita kept the house shining for us every day, even folding our laundry and freshening up our rooms. We had an absolutely amazing time. The location and the beach are simply exquisite. We came to relax and unwind and that exactly what we didIt was fabulous and we look forward to another visit. We saw schools of literally thousands of rays, saw several whales and felt as if we'd been whisked away to paradise.

Early Christmas

We had a lovely stay with 14 of us. Family reunion before Christmas! The house is amazing plenty of space and amenities to keep everyone happy. We opted to heat the pool and hot tub and it was fabulous for the young kids as it was very windy the week we stayed, ocean swimming wasn’t an option. The location is remote but worth it for the ability to unplug and just be with your loved ones! We loved Andrea’s she catered In multiple times for us and the pizza place was also a huge hit for a casual night under the stars with games and good food! Thanks for having us!!!

Better than expected

Truly enjoyed our stay. Pool, Beach and plenty of room for our group of 10. One bedroom went unused! The Casa is more impressive than the pictures on VRBO or the welcome material received after booking. We found the catered meals by Adrian's were timely, Delicious and plentiful. Unfortunately we discovered Dona's restaurant on our last days there and would have loved to more opportunity to utilize her kitchen for catering. Vicente is welcoming, knowledgeable and very helpful. If we choose to return to this area we would defiantly choose Casa Rodriguez!

Hands down the best!

This is our 3rd time staying and it never disappoints! Everything is absolutely perfect! If you have an infant or elderly traveling with you, this is the perfect place! I have never felt more safe in a location or vacation home ever. The staff is perfection and there to help at a drop of a hat! I have nothing but good things to say about Casa Rodriguez and the staff! The town itself is tiny and so welcoming! Everyone is so nice! I will elaborate on how safe this town is too. I have never felt uncomfortable or unsafe, day or night. The local bar and the owner is phenomenal! The local restaurants (all of them) are so efficient, kind, and so tasty! We will for sure be back next year for another wonderful vacation.

The Best

Our family of 10 (6 adults + 4 children, ages 7-11) celebrated my husband and my 50th wedding anniversary. We loved the house (including Vicente!), the nearby restaurants, the area, and the activities, which for us included swimming, paddle boards, fishing, renting ATVs, and walking to nearby restaurants. Samuel, Vicente, Lupita, and Homar were immensely helpful in making our visit a 10+.

A slice of heaven in a slice of heaven.

This was our second stay in the area of El Cardonal, the first time at this property. The property description really does not do the property justice. Basically, you are renting a small, luxury hotel, complete with private swimming pool, hot tub, and equipment. Everything about the finish is top notch. One of the best perks is that there are four equally appointed master bedrooms, two on the bottom floor, and two on the top, and so adult couples sharing the property can do so equitably, and no one is relegated to second rate accommodations. The place is huge, with lots of different usable area, so you can have lots of private time away from the other guests if you want. The only gripes we had were hot water was out due to pilot light being out when we got there, promptly solved. The dishwasher does not work well (it would seem to be a cheap upgrade for an otherwise highly luxurious property), and some of the dishes are oversized and do not fit in, but the cleaner, Lupita, who comes everyday nullifies a lot of that. For the uninitiated, El Cardonal is a fantastic location. There are enough tiendas and restaurants and catering available to make live varied and comfortable, but super small, local, and minimal tourist bustle. The most you are going to see is a few quiet gringos on some 4 wheelers, and about half of those live there full time. There is a new fresh fruit and veggie stand that just opened that really elevates the quality of fresh food available.

Over The Hill Celebration

I took my family and close friends to Casa Rodriguez for my 40th birthday and I was the most amazing time. We had six kids with the two of them being babies. The house was perfect for all of us. Samuel was great and was always there for us when we needed something. Vincent is an amazing Soul and he knows what he is doing out on the water. You have to go out at least one time fishing with him. We catered most meals from Adriana and WOW!!!! She makes the best food. There is nothing we would have changed about our trip to Casa Rodriguez and we are already planning our next trip back. Thank you to all the staff for making my Birthday a memorable one.

An Infinity pool looks over the clear blue waters of the sea with an adjacent palapa housing a swim up bar, BBQ and providing soft shade.

Casa Rodriguez was crafted to bring the outer beauty in with sliding glass doors that can be pushed aside to open the entire front of the house. Each bedroom also has glass double doors that open up to a large second floor terrace with sweeping views of painted sky touching the mountains in the distance.
