Detta nybyggda 4-sovrumshus ligger i en lugn cul-de-sac i utkanten av Newtonmore i Cairngorm National Park. Inredda och inredda till hög standard, Ceilidh har 4 sovrum - 1 dubbelsäng och 6 enkelsängar. Det finns en stor L-formad lounge / matsal med TV och ett separat vardagsrum med stereo. Huset har ett stort badrum och två duschrum. Köket är fullt utrustat med spis, mikrovågsugn, kyl, diskmaskin och tvättmaskin. En 10 minuters promenad i en riktning leder till centrum av denna traditionella höglandsby med olika affärer, kaféer och pubar, medan en 10 minuters promenad i den andra riktningen tar dig till kullarna runt byn, med fantastisk natur.

I Newtonmore själv är Clan Macpherson-museet och Highland Folk Museum, med sina nostalgiska rekreationer av hus och en skolsal från en svunnen tid. Några mil bort ligger Highland Wildlife Park, Laggan Wolftrak, Loch Ness och skidcentret i Aviemore. Det finns gott om möjligheter i promenader, skidåkning, klättring, segling och sightseeing.

The property is as shown and perfect for a group of 8. Always warm and fully equipped with everything needed it, was a welcoming place to come back to after a hard day on the hills. We would recommend this property without hesitation

Great, very well equipped and spacious

We enjoyed our stay in this great house. The house was very clean on arrival and the contact to Mark was easy and reliable. There are lots of things to do in and around Newtonmore (don't miss the Highland Folk Museum if you travel with children). The Co-op is nearby and has everything you need. We can absolutely recommend a stay here.

Big comfortable house

Comfortable and practical house for a family, helpful local contact. Location very convenient in a quiet spot 5 minutes from shops, cafes,pubs. Unfortunately the garden is not fenced. The bed linen is a bit tired.

Ein tolles Haus, das alle Anforderungen erfüllt

Als Familiendomizil für 7 Erwachsene war das Haus für uns ideal. Die Schlafräume sind groß und drei Bäder sind vorhanden. Das geräumige Wohnzimmer gab uns die Möglichkeit zum gemütlichen Zusammensitzen. Alles ist sehr gepflegt und in einem neuwertigen, sauberen Zustand. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Dieses Haus können wir zu 100% weiterempfehlen.

Perfect base for exploring.

We had a great stay. Very spacious and clean. Only minor point. Is that the place has 2 frying pans and a wok that should be placed as their non stick coating has worn away. Also a Cork screw would be handy the one in the place was broken.

Excellent location for exploring the highlands

With just five of staying here, there was plenty of room and privacy for all. We found a couple of good restaurants, as well as an okay grocery store within walking distance. Best of all, we could drive to many of the highland attractions in just a couple of hours or less.

wonderful house and very good starting point for tours

We enjoyed our stay in this house. Shopping facilities (co-op) and pubs / restaurants are within walking distance. The Highland Folk Museum in Newtonmore is worth a visit. The house is well situated and offers a good starting point for tours to Inverness, Loch Ness and much more. We can absolutely recommend a stay here.

suited us down to the ground

just finished our annual week in scotland this year at Ceilidh. we have been doing this for twenty five years so have had lots of experiences with renting properties , this was one of the best . Well equipt kitchen and every thing worked , WiFi was easy to access. Newtonmore is quite quiet but can recommend eating at the Letterbox restaurant and the pub at the south end of town. Samantha and the locals at the other pub made us very welcome. The wild cat walk is worth a go . good transport to Aviemore or Inverness via train service we had a great week

Good location for exploring the area

Nice house with plenty of indoor space. A few minutes walk from local amenities including pub and co-op. The road it is on is very quiet but the garden is unfenced which could be an issue if you have small children.

Great House

We had a fantastic few days at the house celebrating New Year with friends. Plenty of walking on your doorstep. Mark responded quickly and was very helpful. House was exactly as advertised in fact probably nicer. Newtonmore has a few cafes and bars but also really close to aviemore and all its attractions.

Beautiful house in perfect location

We had a fantastic holiday in this beautiful house which was very well equipped and situated in an ideal location for lots of attractions nearby. The owner has been more than helpful from the day we booked this house. House is very well maintained and very clean. Would certainly recommend this property to others. We had a very nice meal in the Glen Hotel and found the local supermarket adequate for our week. The description of the house is very accurate.

Fabulous Stay at Ceilidh house!!

What a perfect home to base your stay in the highlands. Ceilidh house is in a great and quiet location with off street parking for 3 cars. A 5 minute walk will take you into the centre of Newtonmore (be sure to keep an eye out for the wildcats) and a 20minute drive takes you to Aviemore. Perfect! The house itself is tastefully decorated with lovely big bedrooms and 3 good sized bathrooms. Living room and dining room both comfortably fit 8 adults and the kitchen has everything you would need and expect. The utility room is a perfect store room for bikes (comfortably fits 3 adult sized bikes). All in all the perfect holiday home for an active Aviemore break. We had a fantastic weekend and will definitely be back in the future! Thank you!!!
