Öppet, ljust och luftigt, detta nybyggda hem med namnet "With a Splash" lever upp till sitt namn med sina fyra sovrum och 4 1/2 badrum som enkelt rymmer 11 personer. På första våningen sätter ett king size-sovrum med fullt badrum tonen för lyxigt sov- och badrum och nås från ett privat inträde. På bottenvåningen hittar du ett vardagsrum som är perfekt för TV-tittande, spel eller bara koppla av medan du tittar på poolen. Den har även en bäddsoffa för drottning för extra sovande och ett pentry. På andra våningen hittar du två Master King-badrum samt ett extra sovrum med en drottningssäng och en övre loftbäddsrum ovanför. Detta sovrum har också eget badrum och dusch tvärs över korridoren. Vackert konstruerade trägolv skapar härlig atmosfär på både andra och tredje våningen. Bricka och torktumlare finns också på andra våningen. Avrundning med det fantastiska köket som ligger på tredje våningen, det finns ett specialbyggt lantgård matbord med plats för 14, och en 55 tum TV i vardagsrummet med surroundljud för samlingen av familjen under kvällstimmarna. Toppa det med en yttre däck för att se havet och spektakulära kvällssolnedgångar, och det enda som kan göra det bättre är hissen som tar dig till översta våningen. Utanför finns det parkering för två i garaget med parkering för ytterligare tre fordon i uppfarten. Alla rum har anpassade funktioner och tv-apparater i rummen. Den privata poolen som ligger utanför har också tillgång till ett halvt bad på däck utanför. Många elektriska plugguttag i hemmet och ett centralt avfuktningssystem kommer säkert att ge gott om attraktion också, vilket gör den här egenskapen till en stor stänk i sommar. Innan du reser till Port Aransas / Village Walk, vänligen planera rätt antal fordon du kör i enlighet med reglerna nedan:

1) Med en stänk erbjuder VW 60 fyra asfalterade parkeringsplatser, 3 i uppfarten och 1 i garaget, för 4 medelstora fordon. Om du hyr en golfvagn måste den passa i ett av dina fyra utrymmen.

Great location, great service.

The property was just as described. Very nice and clean inside. Having a pool was great. Very close to the beach. Definitely get a golf cart rental to keep your car sand free and to make bringing gear to the beach easy. There was an initial issue with the AC and the management company bent over backwards to get it fixed. The only downside was no beach or pool towels. I bought a couple cheap ones at the store. Overall, a great experience!

Short and terrible stay

Zero response to questions with property. No parking passes provided. Washing machine was broken. Had to use another rental property to do our laundry. Elevator sometimes worked. When getting ready to leave for checkout we have delivery truck parked in front of our cars so we could. It leave They were delivering a new washer. Nobody informed of this delivery and the guys just walked in without asking. I hsd teenage boys taking showers when they just barged in . Also, dishes not work. Terrible stay.

Great Place for a Beach Stay

This house was setup nicely and had all the things you need to have a large group stay together. Beach towels on property would have been helpful, especially if you weren't driving and had to fly in. We had plenty of space and the decor was great!

Home was very clean and fit our family well. The pool and patio was a great place to relax outside for the entire family. Check in and check out process was very good.

Very nice house.

Property was nice and clean. It rain the whole time we were there. Only things that were bad was serval windows leaked and the bottom floor back door water leaked in but the house and area was great.

#60 With a Splash

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was everything that we’d hoped for. It is a large house, you had to make sure that you had all your ducks in a row when you were leaving one floor to go to another, or you’d put in a lot of steps up and down. You could be lazy and use the elevator though. When we arrived the elevator was not working, our management team sent maintenance over within minutes. The team thought that they would need to order a part. I called back a couple days later and they actually sent the owner of the elevator company over in just a few minutes, he adjusted the electronic eyes and had it working soon after. Excellent service both from our management team and their employees!!! If you want a large, beautiful home to rent, this is it!!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We chose this home because it had the space we wanted for our extended family, especially in the kitchen. The pool was refreshing. While the space was nice, we experienced numerous maintenance issues. The management company was able to quickly remedy the propane, clothes dryer, and other small issues. However, this property needs maintenance. Ice machine continued to freeze, paint touch up is needed, and the sofas and chairs should be replaced as they have lost their bounce.Our big issue was with the main floor bedroom and sitting room. There was no closet, drawers, or cubbies, for our clothes. Only 6 hooks and a bench for shoes. We ended up living out of our suitcases. Additionally, the blinds are thin and did not block the light from the house next door. We had to hang a towel over the window to try to block the light.I also thought it was an odd choice of dishes that could only go in the top shelf of the dishwasher. We ended up using paper plates.We made it work but won’t stay here again.

Social Distancing Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We recently stayed at With a Splash and had a good experience. The home is large with 4 bedrooms. We appreciated that 3 of the 4 bedrooms had king beds and there was a bunk room for the kids. The top floor living space was perfect, large kitchen w. dining table and living room. We comfortably had 10 people at the table. The private pool was amazing, perfect for kids as there is a shallow shelf. There were a few things I think the property could improve upon. There was not hand soap at every sink. The dishwasher does not appear to work. While it would turn on and spray water, nothing got super clean or dry (even when heat dry used). We contacted the property management company multiple times and got no response. So be prepared to hand wash everything. Hopefully they will fix it. We also arrived right after the hurricane, and so I'm assuming the fact that there were a lot of bugs in the downstairs rooms (1st floor) is due to that, hopefully they will spray. The other thing to know about this home is that its not very close to the beach. You have a good view from top floors but there is no boardwalk. The walk to the beach is a little over 1/2 mile BUT when carrying lots of stuff/children walk isnt that easy. Right now you cant drive on the beach so we found the location a bit difficult. Luckily we found a parking lot on beach access road 1A (an RV park) with paid parking. So we paid $15 a day to park there so we didnt have to lug stuff 1/2 mile. It worked out well. Once you can drive on the beach again, i dont think location would be an issue at all. We would consider staying here again if the property management company fixed the above issues.

Beautiful Disappointment

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second time staying at WITH A SPLASH. Last time it was a pristine experience, so we had no issues with staying here again. There were only a couple of issues this time, but one was a pretty big deal. The elevator was inoperable from the moment we arrived and was not repaired during our stay. The issue was definitely addressed and they had maintenance come but were unable to fix it. An elevator company was reached out to, but nobody had arrived by the time we departed. This made things very difficult to have to carry our items up so many flights of stairs. One of our party actually fell down the stairs but she was luckily not seriously injured. The second issue was the freezers ice dispenser was frozen over and was not able to provide ice, nut that was not a huge issue.Had the elevator worked normally, this would have been another amazing experience. So I hope they had it repaired or at least advised the next renters that it was inoperable.All other aspects of the rental were amazing. Port A Escapes staff are very friendly and easy to work with.I am hoping this gets situated so we can consider giving it another chance next year. We shall see.

Family Reunion

We had a great time! Loved the decor and the pool was perfect. The elevator was great for parents in their 70s and for moving in/checking out. Loved the rooftop deck with ocean views. Great sunrises and the ocean breeze/crashing wave sounds were great for after dark socializing. We rented golf carts for trips back and forth to the beach. There is no beach access, but we knew that before we made the reservation. The carts were fun and kept our vehicles free of sand. Rated 4 stars only because the dishwasher was unusable secondary to mold so we just kept it closed and hand washed. The bed sheets were the other reason for 4 stars. They were were not soft and were actually noisy when they rubbed against each other. They were like a lightweight, canvas tarp. Otherwise, the beds were very comfortable.

Cute home but disappointed.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is nice and well decorated. But upon arrival we were notified that the elevator was not working and someone would be by the next day to work on it. Not real fun when a family of 9 has to bring groceries up three flights of stairs. Also, after an hour of being there my one year old grandson's knees and tops of feet were so dirty from crawling on the 3rd floor. The dishwasher had mold on the inside. Management company did send someone over the next day to clean mold from the dishwasher and they said they would clean floor but we were all up there so I told them that was not convenient and we would deal with it (I took a paper towel and cleaned as much of floor as possible). I just feel for the price I paid and covid everything should have been cleaned by the time of check in. The units are so close together and the neighbor on the side of the bedrooms left the porch light on so the downstairs bedroom was like daylight all night. Tried putting up beach towels but did not help. The following morning I took grandkids out to private pool and found a dead mouse in it, management did send someone over to fish it out but pool company didn't come till next day to maintenance the pool. Overall, not our best experience with a VRBO.

Beautiful house

We were overall very happy with the house. It was clean and well stocked. We were very happy and comfortable for our stay! Our 1 disappointment was the neighborhood doesn’t have beach access which we took for granted we would have. We figured it’s so close it would be easily accessible. But sadly no. The pool however was awesome! We really enjoyed our stay!

Where to stay in Port A

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My guests and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in With a Splash (many pieces of mermaid artwork explain the name). The location to town and beach are ideal. The view from the top deck is 360. The house is well designed, well appointed and comfortable.As might be expected in a rental property, the house’s interior shows some wear. Ideally, it would be nice to see an upgrade in the quality of bedding and cookware. Though we noticed these things, they really didin’t detract from our enjoyment very much.

Labor Day

Late Check in was challenging because address for office leads to wrong place on google and apple maps. I called and on call person gave me good directions. They told me I am not first person to have that issue. Would have been best to start with good directions instead of just address. The location of island walk neighborhood is challenging for beach access.. little more than a mile walk but you can park on port a beach. The house is in good shape and was ok clean. Dirty under the beds. Sheets and towels and such were clean. Pool is awesome. I would give a 5 if late check in was not so tough and if it had boardwalk or street beach access. Needs a very regular insect treatment alsk

Not the Best Stay We Have Had

We have been loyal customers for the last 5 years. This year we rented our most expensive house yet. However, when we arrived the code to the door didn’t work. Then we found alive and dead roaches throughout the rental. We have never had that problem before. The coffee maker did not work either. We did not have k cups so we bought a coffee pot . I was mostly disappointed about the roaches. We found 3 dead ones that had been there awhile and then several live ones in the kitchen and garage area where we kept our beach stuff.
