Charmig lakefront byggnad byggdes 1903 som en pojkar gymnasium, omvandlas till 12 separata lägenhet enheter på 1950-talet. Denna studio-enhet, med sittgrupp separerad av ett kök. Enheten ligger på 3: e våningen och har en spektakulär utsikt över sjön. Det finns ingen hiss, du måste klättra 3 flyg för att nå enheten.

Ursprungligen ett gymnasium för en pojkerskola, denna charmiga 12-lägenhetskomplex, sitter på en rymlig sjöfront, i ett bostadsområde.

Detta är på 3: e våningen, en studio enhet sover 2 med 1 badrum med dusch (inget badkar). Ett litet vardagsrum med utsikt över vattnet och ett kök.

Denna enhet har fantastisk utsikt och all komfort i ett hem. Ingen hiss i byggnaden. För att nå en enhet är det nödvändigt att klättra upp trappor.

Det fullt utrustade köket har en gasspis, brödrost, kaffebryggare (kaffe, te, varm choklad) och ett kylskåp. Pannkaka mix och grundläggande matlagningsbehov (olja, vissa kryddor) tillhandahålls för din bekvämlighet.

Det finns ett litet däck, på 3: e våningen precis utanför enheten med fantastisk utsikt.

En paddlebåt, kanot och kajak är tillgängliga för din användning. Livvästar måste användas. Kom ihåg att knyta paddla båten till kajen och lämna den ren och på samma plats som hämtning så att andra gäster också kan ha samma njutning. Kanot och kajak måste återföras på land och lämnade där hittades. Alla andra vattenleksaker hör till våra hyresgäster, använd inte dem.

Det finns husdjur på fastigheten som tillhör våra hyresgäster, men vi tillåter inte husdjur i våra enheter som vi tillhandahåller att hyra på vrbo.

Docken och gemensamma utrymmen delas av hyresgästerna. Detta är en 12-byggnad.

Two nights delight

Great studio lodging. Very roomy with comfortable bed. Cute little kitchen even came with pancake mix and syrup along with drip coffee maker and frig. Nice view through the trees of the lake.

Loved it

We were in town to see our son, first time in the Pacific Northwest. Staying at the Inn was an excellent choice--beautiful lakefront location w/ access to the dock and amenities, a well-appointed studio apartment with full kitchen and bath, and easy access to local amenities. Friendly and quiet. I'm hoping it will be available for our next trip!

A hidden gem!

Wonderfully appointed property from the studio to the outdoor activities. We found the studio to be quiet, clean and comfortable. The property grounds are a dream with a BBQ area, fire pit area, grassy area leading to the dock and water! We did not want to leave.

Solo Traveler

Nice cozy room rental with comfortable bed. It was clean and in a nice location. No A/C, but opening a window let in very nice cool evening air. Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience when communicating with the on-site manager. It's unnerving as a single woman traveling solo when there is no timely communication with the on-site manager. However, the owners were very responsive and I appreciated that. Also, I was unfamiliar with this type of lodging. The front door to the home stays open 24/7 with individual rooms/apartments on the inside. Not bad, just unexpected as I did not understand that when reading the posting/reviews. Again, traveling solo, I would probably not stay in this type of lodging again. This is simply a personal preference and to inform others who might not be familiar with this type of lodging.

We found this studio to be wonderful and comfortable! The views are great, and the property itself is worth a stroll, many visual treats. The room is super clean, and Ron is an excellent host. The only draw back for me is a bad knee, so the stairs were hard to navigate up and down 3 flights. We will definitely book again if we're back in the area (on a lower floor), and highly recommend it!

We had a great stay. We loved being able to cook our own meals, the place was very quiet, and having free access to kayaks and the beautiful lake was a bonus! Not far from great waterfall hikes and Mt. Rainier National Park.

The studio was perfect for us. I need a kitchen to cook safe, gluten-free meals while traveling. In addition, the bed was really comfortable. We had enough room for the two of us for a week, and we enjoyed the firepit outside near the lake one evening. We'll book again next time we visit our daughter.

As expected for price

The views from this property are lovely, check in and checkout were seamless, and communication was easy. My only complaint would be that the whole place smells like cat urine which was so strong that people commented on my clothes smelling like cat urine when I would go to work. Its not just the unit I stayed in, the halls and stairwells did as well.

One of the best stays in the Tacoma area

This place was awesome, the host was amazing as well. My daughter's visited me while I stayed as well as my girlfriend and the owner was very understanding. The property is beautiful and if you get the chance take you or the kids on the canoe, it was well worth it

Steilacoom Lake Property

The room was very nice and very clean. The bed was comfortable. There was a little bit of a smell when you walked into the main building, but that went away when you got into the room. There were kayaks, canoes and paddle boards to use. You can’t beat the price. If the owners wanted to spiff up the place, they could paint the outside of the place and replace the carpet on the stairs. Our room was great

Acceptable

The property was nice and the unit is located on a nice lake but the building needs to be updated (painted, carpet, floors finished, secure balcony, etc). Our unit needed some decorating TLC also so it looks more presentable (rugs, a bed skirt, etc.) but those things aren’t a deal breaker. It was nice to be within walking distance of a plaza in case we needed anything. Overall, it was “okay” but I probably wouldn’t stay there again unless it is updated.

Dekoban on The lake

My fiancee and i habe stayed here before. It was so great we had to come back! This time was even better than the last! Nice, cozy apartments, beautiful, well kept grounds, and tons of amenities at your disposal. Its right on Steilacoom Lake and their are canoes,and kayaks fornyour use. Firepits, BBQs, etc. A Also close to shopping. And Ron is such an AWESOME host, very friendly and willing to help in any way he can! We highly recommend this spot for a nice long weekend get away!!! We'll be back again Ron! Thanks for a very memorable trip!!!

Great little place for the price

This little room is perfect if you need an affordable, quiet and peaceful place to stay. I'm a bit of a clean freak, so I would have preferred some of the cupboards/closets been cleaner, but it didn't ruin our stay. Over all a very nice experience.

Great Location

The apartment was a little warn but very nice. There was a problem with the booking and I only had 2 days instead of the 4 that I was suppose to have. A problem with Vrbo and AirBnb. The owner tried to help but was doubled booked. The tenant landlord was very nice and helpful. I would stay there again. For the price it is a great place to stay if only for the lake front area.

Cozy 3rd Floor Amid Trees

This unit was charming with eclectic art and a nostalgic feel. There was a game room corner with a variety of board games and books. It was a bit of a challenge getting luggage to the third floor but the stairway hearkened back to yesteryear with charming corners and cut out views. The stairs were carpeted and there was a good sturdy hand railing. Creaky wooden floors and a great view on third floor amid 50-60 foot tall trees just added to the charm for me. The dock area down at the lake was a pleasant place to relax at and we even saw a beaver swim by at twilight. There is also a nice barbecue area which we did not have the opportunity to use. One suggestion is I would like to see the entryway cleaner and neater and attention to the smell of the entry area which has musty. The grounds around the building could also be picked up a bit. There is a laundry accessible for use! The gentleman who came up to greet us was very friendly and helpful.

Very cute studio!

This studio was listed very accurately. The room was clean and quiet and being able to use the things alongside the lake that were provided was wonderful! Perfect for two people to stay and relax!
