Friends Mountain Trip

Great place. We saw four bears from the back porch. Would recommend arriving in daylight the first time to navigate the narrow roads. House was great and enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Cabin was very cozy and old fashioned feeling. Was in a beautiful location but if driving a bigger vehicle a little hard to get around turns and into the drive. Cabin was clean and hot tub was very nice. Game room with the pool table can be a little damp feeling when its raining but still over all nice.

Great cabin. Bears wandering everywhere. Only suggestions are too babe night lights in the downstairs bedroom as the stone surrounding the jacuzzi tub is a lot harder than my knee at 3am and also some kind of light in the downstairs shower

The unexpected

When we first arrived all seemed well. However, by evening we learned that the oven would not stay warm. We made 4 homemade pizzas and none of them turned out. We call for help. Unfortunately, they have to order a piece for the stove so it never was fixed. The upstairs toilet had to be snaked as it would not flush and almost flooded. The next morning we realized the cabin was already occupied as a cockroach ran across the kitchen counter. We only saw one, but we had to shake everything out outside before we packed up and left. I did call and leave a message about this and never received a call back. Also one of the bbq’s was broken and knocked over. There is also a very limited amount of hot water so it’s best to take quick showers. Underneath the furniture was dirty and anything that required to be moved was not cleaned. The sofa also had lots of stuff in it. It was has great pics on the site and even when you walk it it is very nice, but unfortunately, we got more than we bargained for.

Cozy little stay!!!

We loved this cabin! It was clean and decorated so lovely for the season. Pictures are very accurate to the listing. It was very convenient to town. The ONLY complaint was that living room tv didn’t work. But we were gone so much that that didn’t matter to us! Everything else was GREAT!!!

First Time

This was the first time I have ever used VRBO or stayed in anything but a hotel for vacation. My whole family were thrilled with our stay. Everything from the location, to the privacy, to the room we had were amazing. Our cabin was clean, beautifully furnished and decorated, clean, spacious and inviting. We are a family of 6 and never felt like we were bumping into each other. No more hotels for us! If I could give 10 stars I would!!

Quiet, clean, and great location!

My husband and our two little kids stayed at the cabin and we were very happy with it. It was clean, close to everything we wanted to do in pigeon forge, and very comfortable. We loved the hot tub as well as the game room. The back deck has a quiet and beautiful view of the trees. We saw lots of little animals in the woods. Overall, I would definitely recommend this cabin!

Nice cabin for family/small group

We were quite content with our stay at the Cornerstone cabin. Plenty of room for our family of four. The beds were overall quite comfortable - we all slept great. The hot tub, pool table & Foosball table were favorites & used each night of our stay. We followed the directions for the jacuzzi tub & the water was tepid at best. The next night I filled the tub in stages - ran just the hot water & kept checking when it started to run cold, waited 15 min or so & repeated. That was enough to fill the tub & have a hot, relaxing soak. There is a supply of family games & even a few Xbox games (Xbox with the upstairs TV). We didn't use them much but it's a nice touch. The cabin is a bit dated but was cutely decorated & suited our needs well. We were happy with our stay & would gladly return. The roads to the cabin are no joke but by the end of the week we were pros at navigating. It was just a bit unnerving the first time up.

Cabin was very nice, clean. Had everything you need to cook. Driveway was a little steep. Had snow, ice on driveway, little slippery. No guard rail on other side of road to stop a vehicle from going down mountain if sliding.

Pleasant Hollow

We stayed at Pleasant Hollow a few months ago. It is a beautiful cabin they just REALLY need to update the Pool Table and buy new pool sticks and chalk. Note this cabin is not located inside the resort it advertises but stands alone on Pine Mountain Rd but it is a great place love the setup. Also note the bedroom ceilings one is lower due to the floor above with the game room so it gets very hot and the other one is a lot colder because the ceiling is a lot higher so you have to adjust the thermostat so everyone is happy especially at night. Other than that it is a great place to stay at.

So much fun.

We had a great time. The drive to the cabin was easy and close to pigeon forge. It was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed the hot tub and the gas fireplace. I’m sure my friends and I will book again in the future.

Great Stay

Loved the cabin. One of the best we have stayed in. Plenty of room, lovely decks for relaxing and watching wildlife. The hot tub could use one of the steps to get in and out of. It’s hard for short people and those with mobility issues to hop over the side. Hot tub was a great way to relax in the evenings, although it was hard to get in. We would definitely stay here again. The winding road didn’t bother us, it is part of the mountain appeal. Thanks for a great week.

Never again cabin

Cabin very outdated inside along with the amenities and too far to travel to any nearby town! Will stay in Pigeon Forge next time. Very disappointed!
