Charmigt hus med 3 sovrum med badtunna med panoramautsikt. Vårt hus ligger på 2 tunnland fullt av Aspen, Pine, Juniper & Oak. Gott om vilda hjortar, chipmunks, enstaka björn, örnar. Mycket lugnt läge att koppla av, men ändå bara ett kort avstånd till centrala Aspen & bara några minuter till någon av de 4 Aspen / Snowmass skidområdena. Likvidant mellan centrala Aspen & Snowmass, 8 miles från antingen. Stort öppet kök, matsal och lounge. Enormt däck går hela huset och har panoramautsikt. BBQ och badtunna på däck, 2. 5 badrum. Tvättmaskin / torktumlare och för skidsäsongtork för stövlar och handskar. Direkt tillgång till 2 tunnland privat skog med eldstad. Ett bilgarage och massor av extra parkering vid behov. Det bakre området är inhägnad så perfekt för en hund (ar).

Aspen är ett underbart område året runt, med 4 skidberg på vintern, Aspen Music festival / Food & vin etc på sommaren och den mest fantastiska hösten med häpnadsväckande färger. Aspen själv har otrolig shopping, restauranger och underhållning. Det finns också stora utomhusaktiviteter som golf, fiske, vandring, forsränning, cykling

Husdjur övervägs med förhandsgodkännande.

En fristående ägarlägenhet på lägre nivå kan ibland vara tillgänglig förutom huvudbyggnad för större grupper. Tvätten delas med ägarens lägenhet.

Du kommer definitivt att behöva en bil, även om du också kan cykla, är vår väg en av vägarna för Pro Challenge-cykelloppet. På vintern behöver du en 4x4, eftersom vi får mycket snö. Vårt hus är ~ 1 mil från motorväg 82 upp en väg med några kurvor och krökningar med huset själv på ~ 8000 kvm höjd. När det gäller att ta sig runt kan du antingen köra in i stan, men om du vill undvika krångel med parkering kan du köra till avlyssningsplatsen (~ 5 minuter) och sedan ta gratisbussar till Aspen eller Snowmass

Boys Ski Trip

I traveled from Seattle with my two adult sons for 4 days of wonderful skiing at Snowmass. The home was well furnished in a great location midway between Snowmass and Aspen. Communication with the hosts was excellent. Would highly recommend this home.

Great Stay!

The home worked terrific for us and had a fantastic view from the deck while we enjoyed the hot tub! Great location between all the ski mountains and would stay again.

What a great place

We stayed at the house in August. It’s in a great location. A short drive to Aspen and an even shorter drive to Snowmass Village. And for runners and walkers it’s very close to the Rio Grande paved trail. The house has everything you need and the kitchen is very well appointed. We sat on the deck every evening for happy hour and dinner just loving the view of the mountains. The owner was very nice and very responsive. Would definitely recommend this place

Great location, great house

We had a great stay. The house is a good size and very clean with all the amenities you would need. The outside space is a great extra, especially the hot tub overlooking the valley. Great location near skiing and Aspen town and Basalt.

Lovely ski vacation

The house was very comfortable and as advertised. Check in was easy and the kitchen was very well stocked. As others have mentioned 4 wheel drive is necessary in winter. Location was very convenient to Snowmass and the parking area for free buses to the other mountains.

Friends hiking trip

Fabulous location - the views are magnificent. Really large kitchen, dining area, living room area that are great for group gatherings. Perfect launch point for us to go out and hike on the Maroon Bells and Snowmass trails. Thank you to the Buchanans for being great hosts!

4 Days in Snowmass

This is a great dog friendly property. Our Dane, loved the yard and the house. the view from the back porch is perfect. Great location outside Aspen/Snowmass/Basalt to hike, enjoy the scenery and relax!

It’s been 8 since a family ski vacation but finally spring breaks and vacations all aligned.

Even my 88 year old mom went skiing. This place is very nice and pretty much within 15 minutes of snowmass and aspen. They had wine and fresh found coffee beans waiting for us !!

Wonderful home with spectacular views

We had a fabulous time for the 9 days we spent at this house. Very well stocked, spacious rooms, wonderful hot tub and a huge deck with views across the valley. Be sure to have a 4-wheel drive vehicle/snow tires as the road up to the house can be snow covered.

Beautiful retreat

We are a group of three female friends who wanted to hike in the Snowmass/Maroon Bells area. This house was the perfect retreat - incredible view, wonderful house, huge kitchen and just an all-round great place to stay to get away from it all. We hiked two days and then cooked dinner at the house all three nights. It was so beautiful to just sit and talk and watch the light change on the hills across the valley as the sun set. Then after dark, the stars were incredible. This is a very special place that we highly recommend. Thank you to our hosts for the incredible stay.

private and quiet with great views

Comfortable house. Well supplied kitchen. Large deck with great views and a hot tub. We enjoyed drinks and dinner on the deck. Owners Steve and Janette live downstairs and are terrific. They don't intrude on your privacy, but respond quickly to questions or issues and are accomodating. Dog friendly with a fenced yard. Description and pictures are accurate. About fifteen minutes to downtown Aspen. Not for you if you want to walk to restaurants/bars/shops, otherwise highly recommended.

Outside Aspen with Dogs

We enjoyed our stay. One thing to note in the listing is that the owner stays on the bottom floor so you are only renting the top 2 floors. The owners are gracious and responsive, but we did feel as if we were intruding. The property is a bit dated, but comfortable. The hot tub and fenced in yard were exactly what we were looking for, however, you cannot leave the dogs out if you leave the property due to neighbors. We had hoped to leave the dogs out while we went to dinner. The view was outstanding saw a double rainbow over Aspen Valley, very cool.

Another amazing stay!

Second year in a row staying in this beautiful house! Perfect location between all the ski resorts 10-15 min drive away. Has all the cooking amenities you could ever want. And the hot tub was perfect with the most beautiful view. Our pup also loved it and the spacious backyard. The owners of the house were also so accommodating and amazing at communicating. Would recommend this house every time!

Beautiful Aspen Getaway

Excellent stay in a beautiful home overlooking the Roaring Fork river valley near Aspen and Snowmass. The pictures do not do the home and wonderfully large yard justice! Steve and Janette are wonderful hosts also and very responsive.

Awesome Getaway

Spectacular views of the mountains while tucked up in the hills with privacy. It felt like home whenever we returned from Aspen, Snowmass, Independence pass & other accessible places to hike & sightsee. Owners were fantastic hosts

We booked this property back in January and it was well worth the wait. Everything was easy and the place was perfect. Beautiful views, great location and quiet. Enclosed fenced in yard for our dogs. Wonderful

Best stay we’ve ever had. Unbelievable location, only thing that beat that was how awesome the hosts were. It was our son’s sixth birthday and they gave him a present! They went out of their way multiple times to make our stay perfect. Also, the fenced in space for the dogs is so cool. Lights up at night, plenty of space for them to explore and play and still be safe. Can’t say enough about our stay!

Best Vrbo experience ever!

This was a super quiet (private) location with fabulous views and amenities. The fenced in yard, with easy access from the deck was such a plus! Our dogs were happy, and so were we. The owners were so friendly and helpful. I recommend this property wholeheartedly°

Steve and Janette both grew up in Perth Scotland. They enjoyed living in the beautiful city of Edinburgh for 10 years before moving to San Francisco Bay area. They moved to Aspen 9 years ago to enjoy living in this amazing community. Steve has traveled continually for work and Janette gave up her nurnsing career to raise their 3 children. She now runs a local non-profit.Their elder daughter is studying a the University of Aberdeen is Scotland. Their 16 year old son loves to play football, soccer and his favorite, lacrosse as well as spending countless hours on the terrain park at Buttermilk. Their youngest daughter is an avid figure skater.
