If you love privacy, peace & quiet, tranquility and enjoying the beauty of nature, this is the place. We loved sitting outside enjoying a cocktail and the fresh air.The property is exactly as described… straight out of the 70s! No modern decor here. The place was perfect for our party of 5. We would definitely return here.

Wow! The beautiful and well maintained acres around the house is extraordinary. Our dog was thrilled to watch all the birds and squirrels and horses along the rolling wooded paths. Whoever mows all of it and maintains the fences deserves a medal. Spectacular oak and walnuts line some of the most picturesque land you can imagine.The house is large and well maintained. They mean it when they say it is a throw-back to the quirky 70's. That includes the fun 1970s touches on the walls, the shag carpet in the game room, and the foozball table!The hosts were very prompt with communications and very accommodating. My only caution to new guests would be to be aware of the long driveway to the house. It is very well graveled with coarse rock and it's well marked and maintained...but I was happy that we had our SUV for clearance.

Great home on a horse farm.

Just 35 minutes from Bristol Motor Speedway (our reason for being there). Everything we needed, short walk to view the horses, quiet and comfortable.

We stayed there as a family while in town for a wedding. Although, we didn't get much time to really enjoy the property, the time we did have there was wonderful. There is plenty of space so that you are not on top of each other and the space is full of character. We will be back.

Wonderful Hideout from the world

We enjoyed our stay at the Hideout very much. The owners were easy to communicate with, prompt in responding to our questions and very understanding. The property is literally hidden away but close to everything and the views are awesome. The house is large and with a family of 7 we had more than enough space to spread out and enjoy our time.
