En vacker stuga på ett fantastiskt läge .... Vale View har
   allt du behöver för en avkopplande semester. Denna rymliga semester
   Lägenheten ligger i byn Glanton och upptar första våningen i
   byn pub. Boendet har separat åtkomst, är ljudisolerad,
   och erbjuder ett bekvämt boendeutrymme. Den fantastiska öppna planen
   kök / matrum är mycket välutrustad för en hög spec med en spishäll
   och diskmaskin. Vardagsrummet är ljust och luftigt med stora soffor,
   lätta stolar och en 50 "TV med Freeview. Fastigheten har fem badrum
   sovrum så det finns gott om plats för alla elva gäster. En riktig
   Egenskapen av fastigheten är den privata trädgården, nås ner sten
   steg - en härlig plats att koppla av ... det finns även en badtunna, perfekt för
   kyla i slutet av dagen.

Vale View ligger nära den vackra Heritage Coast och den historiska
   marknaden stad Alnwick (10 miles) .. Du kanske känner igen Alnwick Castle som
   Placeringen av Hogwarts från Harry Potter-filmerna. I närheten av Alnwick
   Trädgård är väl värt ett besök, hertiginna av
   Northumberland. Golf, promenader, cykling, segling och ridning allt
   tillgänglig lokalt.

   Sängar: 1 x dubbelsäng, 2 x enkelsängar.

Första våningen boende alla på en nivå

   Vardagsrum: stort vardagsrum med golv till tak fönster. Soffa och lätt
   stolar. 50 tums Freeview TV,

   DVD, video, CD-spelare.

Kök och verktyg: fullt utrustat med stort koklagsområde, 5 brännare
   gasspis och två ugnar, mikrovågsugn, kylskåp, frys, diskmaskin, tvätt
   maskin, torktumlare. Matsal med 2 matbord och sittplatser för
   upp till 11 personer.

Sovrum 1: enkelsängar, eget badrum med dusch.

Sovrum 2: sovrum med dubbelsäng, klädkammare med monterad
   skåp och lådor.

Annexe rum: enkelsäng. Liten entrélounge med handfat
   leder in i Master eget badrum: bad, separat
   duschkabin, toalett, handfat, handdukshandfat och spegel.

Sovrum 3: enkelsängar, eget badrum med dusch.

Sovrum 4: dubbelsäng, eget badrum med dusch.

Sovrum 5: enkelsängar, eget badrum med dusch.

Underhållning: 50 tums freeview-TV, DVD, video, CD-spelare. Badkar
   (små barn måste alltid övervakas) finns påsk till
   slutet av oktober.

För familjer: barnsäng och barnstol kan tillhandahållas. Permanent trappport
   tvärs över trappan.

Utanför: helt sluten privat söderläge stor trädgård på baksidan
   nås några steg steg. Övervägande gräsmatta med utsikt
   över Vale of Whittingham. Badkar.

Parkering: riklig parkering vid sidan och framsidan av fastigheten

   Allmänt: WiFi, sängkläder (täcken per säng och 2 kuddar per person), säng
   handdukar (hand och badplåt per person, plus badrum handdukar).
Olje centralvärme och el. Välkomstpaket: te, kaffe, socker,
   mjölk, kex och vin.

Husdjur: två välskötta hundar välkomna. Välkommen. Ytterligare avgift gäller.
Husdjur får inte lämnas obevakad i fastigheten.

Observera: Alla rum är ensuite. Badtunna (små barn måste vara
   övervakas hela tiden) tillgänglig påsk till slutet av oktober.

Excellent location for a base to explore Northumberland, property was superb for families

Good location for exploring Northumberland, the locals were very friendly and welcoming. This was a family holiday, the property was spacious and a bonus including the 5 bedrooms all with en-suite facilities. Will definitely return.

Superb stay

The property was absolutely perfect for our get together with friends and dogs. Whilst COVID restrictions limited our party size to 6, it was definitely spacious enough for 10 or more and it was extremely well appointed and very clean. We were blessed with glorious sunshine for the week we stayed so took advantage of sitting on the decking enjoying the evening rays and sipping a cold glass of something. There were numerous beach, forestry commission land, and field walks within easy reach, plus great pubs, towns, villages and national trust properties close by. Cragside NT gardens and Dunstan Burgh English Heritage sites are definitely worth a visit and both are dog friendly. Glanton hamlet is a rural and restful ‘get away from it all’ location. Our only disappointment was that the details had said the accommodation was soundproofed from the pub noise below, and sadly, this was not the case for the majority of the bedrooms. Whilst the kitchen, lounge, and master suite were indeed sound insulated, the 4 other bedrooms along a corridor, were not. This was not an issue most evenings, however on Friday and Sunday evenings there were some very noisy parties which made sleep a little challenging. Notwithstanding this small gripe, we would return in a flash, we had a truly wonderful holiday and would like to say a massive thank you to Lisa!

Excellent

Family of 11 ages from 7- 72. We had a an excellent time. Nice and warm on arrival. Rooms very spacious lovely bathrooms everyone happy with their rooms they chose. Stunning views lovely garden would be great in the summer. We used public bus to Alnwick direct route took 15 minutes no stops which was ideal. We had a few drinks in the pub downstairs locals were friendly.

Fabulous!

We had such a lovely long weekend at Vale View. It was a family get-together, was the perfect location & by far exceeded our expectations. Very well thought out with everything we needed. Friendly pub downstairs & was great to meet the host. We would definitely be keen to stay again. Highly recommended :)

Great weekend

Stayed at Vale View for a weekend. The accommodation is great for 2 families to stay at. Lots of space in the lounge area and the kitchen area. The kitchen is very well equipped and very clean. The pub downstairs is fantastic and locals are very friendly.

Wedding accommodation

We stayed here as a family for a weekend to attend a wedding at newton hall which was about 20miles away. The accommodation was perfect for what we needed, large spacious en-suite bedrooms and a lovely large kitchen/diner with stunning views across open countryside. It easily accommodated 11adults. There was also biscuits, milk coffee and wine provided which was a nice touch. We didn’t get time to use the hot tub in the garden, but hopefully will return and make use of it then.

Fantastic family weekend

We stayed as a family of 10 and had a great time. The accommodation is perfect for a large group, with everything you need for your stay. The kids loved the hot tub. The bar downstairs is great, a proper pub. Thankyou to Lisa was very helpful and friendly and made our stay stress free. We would definitely recommend ValeView and hope to stay again.

Great for a large party

We hired Vale View for a party of 10, for a week. All 5 bedrooms are spacious and have en suites. The common areas - lounge and kitchen/diner - were also larger than expected, and easily accommodated all of us. The two children with us had a great time running through the apartment! The garden is secluded and sheltered from the wind, and the hot tub was always available. Friendly pub below with pool tables.

There were 10 of us spending the weekend in this lovely place. The vale view is a large comfortable well equipped place to stay . The owner was very helpful and friendly and the locals in the Queens Head were welcoming . It's a lovely place to stay

Lovely Easter stay in great value for money apartment

Stayed here for a week with 3 generations of family over Easter. Having all 5 bedrooms en suite was wonderful and the hot tub was a definite bonus despite the chilly weather! The apartment is huge with loads of space in both kitchen/diner and lounge. Meant that the adults could sit in the dining area whilst the children played in the lounge. The view from the kitchen/diner is stunning. Kitchen very well stocked and having a dishwasher, washer and dryer was brilliantl with young children. We ate in every night as there are no restaurants nearby and unfortunately the pub below doesn’t sell food. Noise from the pub was more or less non existent. Think we probably made more noise then them! My only slight criticism was that my bedroom was cold- only one small radiator in a large bedroom. I don’t think this was helped by the window being rather old and draughty unlike the new ones in the kitchen. Apart from this we all loved it and, if we return to the area again, we would certainly stay here.

Great for get togethers

Extremely spacious apartment. .plenty of room for 9 of us. The en-suites essential when a lot of people !. Plenty of crockery, utensils etc. Dishwasher great!. Fab view from back over the Vale. Goodo for touring the area. Good value for money.

A great place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay here. There were only four of us - we all like a bedroom to ourselves, and there should have been five - so we had a huge amount of space. Vale View was very clean and comfortable. There was a nice (alcoholic) welcome pack and plenty of crockery, cutlery and glasses - many, many glasses. Glanton itself is just a small village, quiet but with no real outstanding features - some very nice houses though. The garage in nearby Powburn had more than enough for emergency supplies when we arrived late afternoon on a Sunday. It was a convenient place to get to other attractions and it was lovely to come back to the large living room and kitchen each night. You can hear sounds from the pub in at least one bedroom but this was only during normal pub hours and only a problem if you go to bed early. All of us agreed that we would happily come back.

Great for a large family get together

Superb ensuite accommodation above a pub. There is a little evening noise but nothing excessive, I am sure we made more noise than they did. Lovely owners, super location and the welcome pack was a lovely touch.
