'Casa de Abuelos' har varit i vÄr familj i fem generationer och har otaliga glada minnen för oss. En idealisk retrÀtt, vÄrt hus har vackert traditionell inredning och har kÀrleksfullt restaurerats i autentisk mallorcan stil med originella trÀbjÀlkar, Àkta terrakottagolv och en blandning av moderna och antika möbler. De subtila inslag av fÀrg och bekvÀma möbler gör det till en utmÀrkt plats att koppla av, varva ner och njut av allt som Tramuntana-kusten har att erbjuda.
Även om huset rymmer upp till 6 personer och en baby (i 3 stora sovrum, varav 2 Ă€r dubbla och en tredjedel med tvĂ„ enkelsĂ€ngar och en barnsĂ€ng), Ă€r det idealiska antalet gĂ€ster att fĂ„ det bĂ€sta frĂ„n huset. 4.
Det finns en hÀrlig, fullt utrustat kök och separat tvÀttstuga, en informell matsal och inbjudande vardagsrum bÄda med vedeldade spisar för kallare vinterkvÀllar. Det finns ett badrum pÄ första vÄningen och utanför sovrummet finns en vacker balkong med utsikt över torget och bergen bortom med tillrÀckligt med plats för ett bord och ett par stolar, perfekt för en romantisk middag för tvÄ. Framför huset finns ocksÄ utrymme för uteservering.

Allt lakan och handdukar (ej strandhanddukar) finns och det finns oljebylda radiatorer och flÀktar pÄ varje vÄning. Det finns en tvÀttmaskin, diskmaskin och mikrovÄgsugn i tvÀttstugan. Badrummet har en stor dusch och det finns gott om varmt vatten. Det finns en TV och DVD-spelare i vardagsrummet samt ett litet bibliotek med spanska / engelska böcker och nÄgra brÀdspel.
Det finns ingen internetuppkoppling i huset men det finns gratis WIFI tillgÀngligt i den vackra terrassen cafe över vÀgen.

Wonderful mountain hideaway

We loved the house it was perfect for us and well situated in the village right in the centre. Very comfortable bed great shower, nice balcony, everything you need, close to the church which does have a chiming clock ( earplugs came in handy) all the locals are extremely friendly and the best coffee is in the small shop in the square.

Lovely time

We had a lovely time in the little house in Estellencs. The landlady was super friendly and provided a very clear description of all the important things and lots of nice tips about the area. The house and the beds were very well maintained and we felt comfortable. Unfortunately, the neighbor was a bit unpleasant because he told us very unfriendly that we should put the outdoor dining table away immediately after eating because the terrace is private. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our time there and would definitely come again.

Nice authentic village house

Cute house, in a pretty village between beautiful mountains and the sea. There is a super nice walk to the ocean where there is a beautiful bay just down the village. We were here in the winter, so there was no-one ont the beach! But still probably less touristic than other more known bay's I can image. The house was a bit cold, and could use a few more carpets and warm elements to make it a bit more cosy in the winter. (Especially downstairs in the dining room.) But overall a great place and I guess great in the summer heat. There is no terrace but kids loved to play in front of he house and climb up the hill that is pedestrian area and totally safe.

Quaint and traditional

Beautiful traditional mallorcan property, tastefully decorated and very well equipped . Good location as a base for visiting the west side of the island. Air conditioning would be a big plus to make the stay more pleasant in the height of the summer. We visited Palma and hoped to go to the Es Baulard gallery but closed on a Monday! Valdemossa well worth a trip. The beach/cove in Estellencs, although a bit of a trek is characterful. Thoroughly recommend Montimar restaurant next to the property. If you are looking for a balcony to chill and relax, be aware the balcony is small and as the property is situated next to a (lovely) restaurant, the suggested alfresco dining outside the property is not a private area. . However during our stay there was a music festival in the square and we had a prime position from our balcony to enjoy the music, very entertaining and enjoyable especially with a gin and tonic!

La belle surprise d’un village perchĂ© et authentiquea Ă©tĂ© une trĂšs belle surprise, presque un petit coup de cƓur . Estellencs Le village, classĂ© UNESCO, est perchĂ© dans les montagnes et respire l’authenticitĂ©. On a eu l’impression de remonter le temps en dĂ©ambulant dans ses ruelles charmantes.La maison, en plein centre du village, Ă©tait tout simplement parfaite : pleine de caractĂšre, dĂ©corĂ©e avec goĂ»t et d’une propretĂ© irrĂ©prochable. On s’y est sentis tout de suite comme chez nous.Le trajet depuis l’aĂ©roport de Palma prend environ une heure, dont 20 Ă  25 minutes de routes de montagne. Elles sont bien tracĂ©es mais parfois un peu Ă©troites — ce qui, Ă  nos yeux, ajoute au charme de ce lieu perchĂ© et prĂ©servĂ©. L’emplacement est aussi idĂ©al pour dĂ©couvrir l’üle : environ une heure de route pour rejoindre SĂłller, et seulement 40 minutes pour Valldemossa.Un grand merci Ă©galement au propriĂ©taire, toujours rĂ©actif et attentif Ă  nos questions. Sa disponibilitĂ© a rendu notre sĂ©jour encore plus agrĂ©able.Nous repartons avec de trĂšs beaux souvenirs et nous recommandons ce logement de tout cƓur !

Wunderschöne Umgebung - viel Platz

Wir waren als 4-köpfige Familie dort. Estellencs liegt abgeschieden. Man muss also mit 25-30 Minuten bis zum nĂ€chsten Supermarkt oder Sanstrand rechnen. Der Weg ist aber traumhaft schön und fĂŒhrt ĂŒber ein Gebirge mit wahnsinnig schönem Ausblick auf das Meer. Estellencs verfĂŒgt ĂŒber einen kleinen "Tante-Emma-Laden", Restaurants und eine Kneipe. Es ist ein sĂŒĂŸer, kleiner Ort an dem regelmĂ€ĂŸig Veranstaltungen stattfinden. Das Ferienhaus liegt im Zentrum und das bedeutet, dass es bis auf nachts niemals so ganz ruhig ist. Wir fanden es schön von dem kleinen Balkon aus das rege Treiben zu beobachten. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll und traditionell eingerichtet. Es hat Charme. Die Vermieterin ist wirklich sehr freundlich und geht auf individuelle Probleme ein. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit auf Mallorca und in Estellencs. Vielen Dank dafĂŒr! Estellencs

Lovely property in lovely location, excellent host

This is an excellent property in a wonderful location, very much away from the hustle of the larger resorts. It is beautifully appointed and it has been a joy to spend our holiday in. The host was responsive to the few early questions we had and good guidance was given both beforehand and at the property (though a couple of points may need updating to reflect recent installation of a new water heater, but this could be due to Vrbo supplying out-of-date information rather than the host). We decided to manage part of our trip using the excellent local bus service to explore - if you also plan to rely on this, be aware that the local shops can provide basics but a very limited range

tolle Unterkunft in einem sehr schönen Ort

Wir haben den aufenthalt hier sehr genossen und nichts vermisst. Man sieht die Liebe mit der das Haus renoviert und dekoriert wurde. Es stimmt, dass man die Kirchturmuhr im Schlafzimmer hört aber dafĂŒr weiß man immer wie spĂ€t es ist :)

Dark apartment, beautiful surroundings and Good Restaurant

The apartment is easy to find. The keys are in a key box that is easy to use. Upon arrival the apartment was not clean and there was dirty linen everywhere. The bed was not made, we had to look for sheets and towels and make the bed ourselves. The apartment is very dark and the walls are damp. For cold days there are two Swedish stoves but not enough wood. The description of the apartment is no longer up-to-date, there is WiFi in the apartment. The church clock in the neighborhood strikes every quarter of an hour, even at night, and the bells can be heard even when the windows are closed. The owner of the apartment promised a refund for the first night, the refund never arrived and the owner doesn't respond to any messages. Unfortunately I cannot recommend the apartment.

Gorgeous flat in great location but poor communication

All in all, we enjoyed the stay. I would recommend others to stay here. The location, cleanliness and interior/feeling were all nice. However, the communication with the owner can be improved. We received instruction about the boiler which was different from what was written in the 'Welcome PDF' that was attached. We were unable to get the boiler working for 2 days. While this was happening, the owner's response to my messages was very quick, which we appreciated. But there was a tone of accusation for us not being able to work the boiler when the instruction itself was confusing to start with. In the spirit of everyone being happy, my feedback to the owner is to pay extra attention to the communications, not only the response time. I still recommend this place to those who are interested in staying here for over all experience.

Heerlijke dorpswoning

Heerlijk traditioneel dorpshuis in de serra tramuntana. Recht tegenover de kerktoren in het kleine dorp. Heel charmant, maar ik zou wel oorstoppen meenemen want de klokkentoren luidt elk kwartier. Het huis is heel proper en de bedden comfortabel. Leuke omgeving aan de mooiste kant van Mallorca.

Geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Haus mitten im Ort in mit wunderschöner Umgebung

Die Kontaktaufnahme mit der Vermieterin gestaltete sich am Anfang schwierig, was aber an einem vorĂŒbergehenden Systemfehler des Portals lag. Der daraufhin telefonisch kontaktierte Mitarbeiter von FeWo direkt bemĂŒhte sich sehr freundlich um die KlĂ€rung des Problems. Danach war der Austausch mit der Vermieterin Grace sehr unkompliziert, wir erhielten alle notwendigen und nĂŒtzlichen Informationen, auch zur SchlĂŒsselĂŒbergabe, da Grace selbst nicht vor Ort war. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral in Estellence, daher hat man auch eine entsprechende GerĂ€uschkulisse (Straße mit LKW - und Busverkehr direkt vor der TĂŒr, etwas scheppernde Kirchturmglocke
). DafĂŒr gibt es aber auch ein sehr nettes Restaurant quasi gleich nebenan. Wer also die absolute Ruhe sucht, ist hier nicht so gut aufgehoben. Will man aber ein StĂŒck weit eintauchen in den fremden Alltag, ein GefĂŒhl fĂŒr Land und Leute entwickeln, ist man hier genau richtig. Man kann traumhafte Wanderungen in der Umgebung unternehmen. Bei einem Spaziergang zum Kiesstrand eröffnen sich immer wieder sehr schöne Ausblicke. Wenn man keinen Liegestrand erwartet und auch keine Kinder dabei hat, kann man hier durchaus auch baden und schwimmen. Einen spektakulĂ€ren Sonnenuntergang bei etwas rauer See werden wir auch nicht so schnell vergessen. Wir hatten sehr schöne Tage hier und wĂŒrden die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen.

Tolles Ferienhaus in wunderschönem Dorf

Das Ferienhaus ist super durchdacht und schön eingerichtet. Wir haben die große KĂŒche viel genutzt und unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Ich hatte aufgrund der Hauptstraße befĂŒrchtet es könne laut sein, aber meine BefĂŒrchtungen wurden nicht erfĂŒllt. Wenn einen etwas wach hĂ€lt in der Nacht, sind es höchstens die Kirchenglocken von gegenĂŒber. Sehr friedlicher schöner Ort! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

A beautiful village house in an authentic part of Mallorca far from the crowds

We really love Grace’s house and the peaceful atmosphere of a true majorcan village. The house has been beautifully restored in a majorcan spirit. we enjoyed having dinner just outside the entrance watching people pass by . The rooms are super charming and the beds really comfortable. We even enjoyed the bells of the village (you do get used to it!) adding to the charm of the place. The area is stunning right by the Tramuntana mountains where you can walk or jog admiring the sea. This area is not spoiled yet by mass tourism, and from easy reach from Andrax, Banyalbufar etc.. highly recommended!!

Urlaub in der Serra Tramuntana

Wir haben 2 wundervolle Wochen in diesem DorfhĂ€uschen abseits des Touristenrummels verbracht. Die Wohnung ist komplett ausgestattet und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Ein Essplatz vor dem Eingang und ein kleiner Balkon, auf dem sich bei einem GlĂ€schen Wein abends das Dorfleben miterleben lĂ€sst. Schöner Kiesstrand mit sehr klarem Wasser ca 20 min zu Fuß den Berg hinunter durch ein schönes Bachtal (und spĂ€ter leider wieder hinauf). Mehrere Wanderwege direkt ab Estellencs. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Spring stay

Lovely house in a beautiful village. The kitchen was very well equipped and had a nice separate dining area. Cosy living room with comfy sofa. The main bedroom had plenty of storage and the bed was comfortable. Fab house for a holiday. There is plenty of local walking nearby, we particularly enjoyed the walk from the village to Esporles and the walk up to Galatzo. We did not hire a car and used the local bus service - be prepared to go into Palma and change for routes to Soller, Andratz, etc. Overall we would highly recommend the house for a stay

Its a beautiful village with a friendly community and a slow, rural pace of life... unless it's fiesta time!

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Sitting right in the heart of the village, my grandparent's house puts you in the centre of whatever action there might be. Restaurants on the doorstep, there's nothing better than sitting out all evening with a bottle of wine and watching the world go by.
In the house, I love the top bedrooms with their original wonky beamed ceilings and low windows. For decades, the room that's now the twin bedroom was my grandmother's larder, always with big bunches of fresh tomatoes, drying herbs and baskets of olives hanging from the beams.
