Här på Rock Harbor Cottages har vi bara 5 enheter spridda över nästan 3 tunnland mogna träd. Tillträde vid vattnet på fastigheten med en grus uteplats, fiskrengöringsbord och 110 ft brygga med 4, 20 ft finger dockar.

Fullt möblerad. 7 sovplatser, 2 sovrum, 1 badrum. Sovrum 1; 1 drottning säng, sovrum 2; 1 set med två våningssängar och en full säng, i vardagsrummet en full bäddsoffa. Luftkonditionering, värme, platt-tv-kabel och wifi.Det inkluderar ett fullt utrustat kök (full storlek kyl, ugn och spis, kaffebryggare, brödrost, mikrovågsugn, alla nödvändiga redskap, disk, grytor och kokkärl, etc. ...). Utanför finns en gasgrill, eldring, trädäck med bord och stolar, med gott om utrymme att njuta av. Stugan ligger cirka 150 meter från bryggan där du kan fånga bas, blågrilla, havskatt, abborre och crappie eller bara luta dig tillbaka och titta på dagen flyta förbi och fånga vackra solnedgångar. Hyran inkluderar ett gratis bryggutrymme som rymmer upp till en 22 fot båt.

För att hålla våra priser låga erbjuder vi inte sängkläder (lakan, örngott och handdukar) Vi tillhandahåller dyner och kuddar. Ta med dig nödvändiga lakan, örngott och handdukar. Om detta är ett problem, kontakta mig.

Även från fastigheten driver vi Reef Bobber Charters. Fisk västra sjön Erie för Walleye, Smallmouth Bass och Abborre ombord på Reef Bobber IV. Reef Bobber IV är en 28 fot Marinette Sport Fishermen med en balk på 11 fot. Fiskedäcket är tillräckligt stort för att rymma upp till 6 fiskare och besättningar med stora kylare för sittplatser. Under den konvertibla mjuka toppen sitter plats för 9 för att komma ur solen och vädret. Under pilbågen finns gott om utrymme att lagra din utrustning och en toalett för när naturen ringer. Båten är fullt utrustad, försäkrad och kustbevakningen inspekterad och godkänd. Våra kaptener, Brad Miller och Dan Cooksey, är United States Coast Guard och State of Ohio licensierade guider med en livstid av erfarenhet.

Vi erbjuder solnedgång, 1/2 dag, och heldags walleye, abborre och smallmouth basfiske charter. Även anpassade resor, privat ö taxitjänst, docka och äta kryssningar till antingen Put in Bay och Kelleys Island tillgängliga.

Great cottages!

I booked both cottages for a family fishing trip and we had a great time. We did a fishing charter with Brad that was excellent and came back with plenty of fish despite very windy weather. The cabins were perfect for our stay!

It was exactly as pictured. Me and my family had a great stay. The mattresses were comfortable, the kitchen suited our needs and we enjoyed the deck. Also there are plenty of fantastic restaurants near by. Big Boppers had an amazing breakfast, we ate at the Crows Nest one evening they had live music and a great atmosphere and there are lots of good sea food places. As far as close attractions we spent a day at Cedar Point, went to Put-in-Bay for a day, did some fishing on the lake, there's alot to do well worth

We so enjoyed our weekend getaway in Rock Harbor Cottage 2. The cottage was clean and we'll stocked. The fire ring was a great bonus. We will book the cottage again.

Awesome Stay

Cottage was clean, and had plenty of parking for our trucks and boats. Beds were very comfortable. Only issue I had was the code to the lockbox was wrong and the manager got back with me immediately and got me straightened out. Will rent it again next year for sure!

Weekend Getaway

Cottage was exactly what we were expecting. Location of cottage is somewhat on the lake - a few houses in between. Only improvement needed is the dock - not a great place to dock our boat. And the one neighbor was not so pleasant. But we had a great time - thanks!!

Perfect in Every Way!

Booked 5 days/4nights, and the cottage was GREAT, a 10 of 10! In a great location, excellent lake access & dock access, very clean, lots of thoughtful little extras in the cottage, the host is quick in communication and extremely nice! I will be booking again in the future!

If you like the cabins at Salt Fork, you will love this cottage! For New Years, there is nobody nearby so it is nice and quiet. A small walk to the docks gives you the feel of being in Maine. Putting in my saved list for another time!

Walleye Fishing Trip

There was plenty of room to park a truck and 37’ boat trailer. We were in town to fish Walleye and Perch. There is a nice fish cleaning station on site. The owner introduced himself after our first day out fishing. He asked if there was anything we needed and if we liked the place. He also gave us some tips on fishing locations. 110% would stay there again.

Second time, great stay!

This was our second year staying here…you can see the lake from the porch, the owners were great at communicating before & during our stay, very clean, spacious, & perfect for what we needed for a family weekend…close to restaurants & a short drive to the Kelley’s Island Ferry. Can’t wait to come back next year!

Clean and comfortable

Very clean and good amenities. Great that it allows dogs and has AC. Nice deck and fire pit. I had thought from the description that we would be able to sit and relax right by the water or on the dock. The dock is very rickety, not good for hanging out on and there is nowhere on this property where you can sit in chairs by the water.

Fun weekend stay

BRIEF HISTORY Rock Harbor Cottages has been in the family since 1946. When the Marsho Family purchased the property it was a pear orchard. Down by the dock in the hedge row remain the last of the pear trees. Everything on the property was built by the family. Everything you see has a history and a story, even the large maple trees. Frank Marsho (Pam's Grandfather) hand dug the saplings from behind the Mayfield Village Service Dept and planted them for generations to enjoy, now many of them are 60 - 80 ft tall. The current owners, Brad & Pam Miller, acquired the property in April of 2013. The first building built was the Boathouse by the dock which actually is a 2 story building. The upper level was divided by curtains into 3 bedrooms. To get downstairs you have to go through a trap door in the floor and down a flight of steps. The lower level contained the kitchen with a wood burning stove and living area. Over the last summer we worked hard and restored the interior to its original wood and created a nice little hangout. If you ever see the door open come on in and enjoy the view with us. The next addition was the original dock which is actually still visible underneath the present dock. It was built by stacking stones out into the water and was eventually topped with concrete. In 1969 a storm had decimated the harbor, destroying the beach at the property and the dock. In 1971 the first posts were driven for the dock that still stands today. The second building constructed was the "Old Cottage" or #3. It was built in the early 1950's and was actually ordered from the Sears and Roebuck Catalogue. Arriving as a pile of precut lumber, the family pulled together and put it up quickly. The interior is small and quaint and is now only rented on a seasonal basis. "Aunt Ann's" #1 and the "New Cottage" #2 were both built together in the mid 1960's. Both cottages are basically the same design with the new cottage having an extra 200 square feet of space.
