Centralt belägen lägenhet med två sovrum (sover 1-4) på en strålande georgisk gata i West End, bara några minuters promenad från Princes Street och butikerna och sevärdheterna i stadens centrum och Gamla stan. Denna lägenhet ligger mycket nära spårvagnshållplatsen för Edinburghs flygplats. Detta är ett lugnt läge i hjärtat av Edinburghs spektakulära West End-arkitektur.

Detta fritidshus är en rymlig och bekväm lägenhet med två sovrum på bottenvåningen i en arkitektoniskt betydande byggnad. Gatan är en av de härligaste gatorna i West End. Lägenheten ligger inom gångavstånd från de största turistattraktionerna, festivaler, butiker, nattliv och transportförbindelser. Spårvagnshållplatsen för Edinburghs flygplats ligger en kort promenad bort vid spårvagnshållplatsen West End / Princes Street.

Vardagsrummet har dubbla aspekter inklusive ett fönster med en stor skinnsoffa och läderstolar. Det finns ett matbord i vardagsrummet som omvandlas till ett biljardbord. Köket är väl utrustat med porslin, bestick, glas och köksredskap. Sovrum ett har en king size-dubbelsäng med eget badrum (badkar med dusch över). På mezzaninivå - nås med en kort trappa till ett utbrott med L-formad soffa - är sovrum två, som också har en king size-dubbelsäng och ett badrum med duschrum. Det huvudsakliga badrummet har ett badkar (med en duschtillbehör finns). Lägenheten har centralvärme för gas och priset på el och lokala skatter ingår. För komfort för framtida gäster är lägenheten rökfri och husdjur är inte tillåtna.

Lägenheten ligger på bottenvåningen med några steg från gatan för att nå huvuddörren. För sovrum två finns det en kort trappa.

Perfect festive stay

Firstly, Martin was super helpful with any queries throughout our stay, props to him. The apartment was impressive and set up with extra Christmas decorations which was a hugely welcome touch.Property was easily heated and the gas fire made the whole experience super cozy. Plenty of amenities/utensils in the kitchen if you enjoy cooking. Location is great, can walk to the west end of Princes St in 5 minutes. I have nothing bad to say really we were not expecting to have our festive period amplified so greatly by this amazing property.

3.5 Stars for this experience :(

The flat is as pictured-- lovely furnishings and the kitchen was well appointed. Martin was very communicative until a plumbing problem arose and then it was radio silence from him for 3 days. We ended up fixing the toilet ourselves and using another bathroom's sink because our en suite one did not drain *at all*. The rest of the bathrooms were only superficially clean as the back of the sink had been collecting dust for quite some time. The very worst part was that our bed sheets had not been changed. We know this because of the fresh body-shaped wrinkles and the HAIR in between the sheets at the foot of the bed. The duvet cover had clearly not been washed before our arrival as there was a crusty stain of some sort on the head edge of it. We spent our first night at 11pm stripping the bed and searching the closets for clean sheets, as several that we pulled out did not smell like they had been washed either. We are disappointed in our experience as it was the first family vacation we had taken since the pandemic.

Overall

We enjoyed staying at the apartment. The location is in walking distance to the Royal Mile and other sites. Having our own private bathroom was a plus. The apartment is designed beautifully. On the other hand, it really needs a good cleaning. Also, we found ants on the kitchen counter and in the entryway (daily). The main floor bedroom mattress has seen better days. Host replied to correspondence in a timely manner and was really helpful.

The property is absolutely lovely. The location is great and the facilities in the property are also great. Communication with Martin was excellent. Great stay and would definitely stay again.

Amazing location

This flat was just perfect for the 4 of us! 2 king size beds, 3 full baths. 10 minute walk to the train station, pubs and shopping. Host was very responsive and helpful. Would love to stay there again! Very comfortable, very easy! You can walk to old town or easily can it as well!

Great location, lovely flat

The flat was great for our 9 day stay for my family of 4 adults. The living room was enormous and furniture was comfortable, the kitchen was very well-stocked, and the appliances worked really well. Beds were very comfortable. Could not open most of windows in living room, and we visited during a warm spell. A few other minor issues were brought to the attention of the property manager, but nothing worth mentioning here. Overall, a pleasant stay in a great (and quiet) part of town during the August festivals.

Great place to stay

The management should supply toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags. Mostlikly these items had just just ran out prior to our arrival. Otherwise this was perfect for our stay. We loved the extra care with the Christmas decorations and decorated tree. It felt very festive and we are thankful to the hosts being so thoughtful. ❤️ Cheers

Would not recommend

Property is freezing cold. Not very clean. Cracked bathroom sinks and no counter space in bathrooms. Damage on mezzanine ceiling that needs repair due to water leak. Very drafty exterior door and no thermal curtains in sitting room to stop the room from becoming cold. The whole place is just tired.

Excellent stay in the West End

This is a dramatic property: big living rooms, bold furnishings, a very well-equipped kitchen, two big bedrooms and three baths. It is located in a good neighborhood with many other large town houses. Plenty of cafes and shopping just a short walk away. Martin, the property manager, is very responsive, very flexible, friendly, and communicates clearly. For example, we had need to make alternate arrangements for our arrival and Martin made sure everything worked out. We enjoyed staying here.

Perfect Accommodation

Martin could not have been a better host! His communication was very timely. His apartment was lovely and very posh. We had a heat wave while there and he made sure we had fans for the evening. I would recommend this property to anyone traveling to Edinburgh. We will stay here again!!

10 out of 10 for a wow factor and location.

We travelled throughout most of Europe and the Caribbean and would write this property as one of the best we’ve ever stayed in. Felt like we had gone back into Victorian times as part of the aristocracy. Perfect for groups of four with plenty of room and a large sitting area. Especially ideal if you take the tram in from the airport because you get off not more than two minutes walk away. You can enjoy the hustle And bustle of Edinburgh and then we treat to A quiet neighbourhood with coffee shops and restaurants nearby. We hated to leave.
