1800-talsstuga med 3 sovrum med utsikt över golfbanan

Stall är en av åtta 1800-talets ombyggda jordbruksbyggnader, nära Bude och North Cornwall-kusten.

När du kommer in i envåningshus med tre sovrum hittar du dig i den rymliga vardagsrum / matsal med TV / DVD, video, hi-fi och elektrisk koleffekt. Köket finns i vardagsrummet / matsalen och består av en elektrisk ugn och spis, mikrovågsugn, kyl / frys, liten diskmaskin och en tvättmaskin / torktumlare.

Nära de gemensamma utrymmena finns de tre sovrummen. Det stora sovrummet har en king size-säng med ett badrum med duschrum, medan det andra sovrummet är en dubbel och den tredje är en tvilling. Badrummet med dusch över badet är bekvämt beläget för användning.

Stugan har en sluten trädgård på baksidan med en picknickbänk och en grillplats för utomhusbruk. En tennisbana delas med de andra fastigheterna. Intill Ivyleaf Barton ligger Ivyleaf golfbana som är en 9-håls golfbana som gäster kan betala för att använda.

Off road parkering för 2 bilar.
Barnsäng / barnstol och barnhanddukar allt tillhandahålls.
Hundar debiteras £ 20 vardera per vecka eller hela vecka.

Shame about the smell

Property was convenient and as described. Easy parking and good outside space. However overpowering dog smell made first night unpleasant. After good clean with disinfectant made tolerable but had to leave windows open

Well Behaved Dogs

Jenny couldn’t have been more accommodating for our family and dogs. I explained to Jenny prior to booking that we had a rather large pack but she was more than happy to accommodate as we were attending a family funeral. We were very respectful and ensured they stayed off the furniture and we cleared up any mess in the garden area. Hopefully we’ll be able to return for a break rather than a sad occasion.

Short but Sweet

Only stayed 2 nights to attend a wedding nearby. The property was perfect for us in every way! We even enjoyed some golf on the adjacent 9 hole course. Well equipped, clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Peaceful and well equipped

Great family base made even better by having all of our favourite sports on hand. Tennis courts, Golf, driving range and surfing only a 5 min drive away!! The cottage had a great social area inside and out with plenty of seating, The view from the cottage and court yard was lovely overlooking the golf course,

A family get-together

A good location and very comfortable accommodation with everything we could need. One minor issue was the absence of hot water from the basin in the en-suite bathroom but our host apologetically explained that the problem was due to be rectified after the Easter break. Overall an excellent place to stay and we had a most enjoyable break.

Home away from home

Great to find such a lovely place to stay with friends for our first nights away after lock down. Easy to get to coastal walks. Great views from the cottage. Light airy and well equipped. Comfortable beds. Would certainly stay again. Jenny very helpful with any queries.

The Stables

Our first impression as we walked in was ok although the room seemed quite empty with a coldness.I went into the kitchen and I checked the fridge freezer was clean before we put our food in. There was actually food in the freezer along with a bag of ice and a teething ring. I emailed Jenny and she came straight round and apologised.She took the food and went.It only got worse from then on.In the sink was a filthy dish cloth.There was tomato sauce down a cupboard door.The oven was disgustingly filthy and the extractor fan had dirty food hanging off it.Inside the cupboards were no better and the crockery and cutlery had to be washed. I went into the main bedroom and into the en-suite and saw straight away the toilet was dirty and hadn't been flushed and there was dirt on the cysteine.The toilet seat must have been broken at some point as although the toilet was square it had been replaced with a round seat! As I went back into the sitting room I noticed there was something under one of the sofas so I pushed it back to see what it was.The floor had been brushed and the dirt had been swept under the sofa.I messaged Jenny and said the place was filthy.She came straight round.Her first words as she came in were that the cleaners had been in there for hours cleaning.She then had a quick look round apologised and said if we could give her 20 minutes she’d clean it.I just told her to bring the cleaning stuff and I’d do it myself just asked her to do the toilets.To say we are automatically charged a cleaning fee due to the extra time it takes now for a Covid clean is not acceptable.The last thing I’ll mention is the dirty fleas/gnats that we’re in the bedroom.I looked up and in the corner of the beam was what looked like a nest full of gnats crawling all over and flying about.I went into the room as no way was I sleeping in that room.I bought plenty of cleaning stuff myself next day and sorted it out.I wanted to leave and go home but my husband persuaded me to stay. I’m sorry for the essay but have given a true and honest review of the property as we found it and feel other prospective clients need to consider this when thinking of booking.

Short break in North Cornwall.

Jenny was a very friendly, helpful host. It was lovely to received some chocolate biscuits on our arrival. No problems with our stay. The location was as we expected. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Quiet, peaceful but close to everything

We loved this place. A quiet setting but perfectly placed for a short drive to the bude canal , costal footpaths and tamar lake. Jenny on hand to answer any questions about the property. Kitchen well equipped, linen and towels provided and everything suited our holiday needs. Great views across the golf course and watched the sun setting of an evening...just fab.

Relaxing break with the family.

Stables is lovely little 3 bed property just a 5 minute drive from Bude. There was plenty of room for us all (3 adults, a teenager and a dog). The kitchen was well equipped and we had everything we needed for our stay. Loved being able to use the tennis courts and the loan of raquets...despite discovering we are all embarassingly bad at playing! The garden was lovely, unfortunately the weather wasn't great so we didn't get to enjoy the bbq. Jenny was very friendly and helpful, suggested some lovely walks and places to visit. The welcome biscuits and chocolates were a nice touch too. Thank you!

Jenny provides everything you need..Despite a rather rainy week, we had a great time...the tennis court and golf being there was a bonus too... comfortable beds and all lovely and clean

I am available on site if you have any queries or would like any recommendations for places to visit. I love living here and enjoying all that the area has to offer and spend a lot of time at the beach with my children.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Stables is a lovely spacious property in a quiet location but only a few mins drive to the coast and Bude town centre. In the nice weather you can enjoy sitting outside and the views across the golf course to the coastline in the distance.
