Denna fyra sovrum Lakehome ligger pÄ södra sidan av Deer Lake i en lugn vik. Vi har ombyggt hemmet helt frÄn topp till botten. Nya golv, kvartsbÀnkskivor, nya skÄp, apparater, belysning och uppdaterad efterbehandling genomgÄende. Denna stuga Àr den perfekta kombinationen av rustik och modern. VÄr stuga har 4 sovrum, + Loft 2 bad och sover 10 bekvÀmt. Vi har ocksÄ ett tvÀttstuga som Àr mycket bekvÀmt för vÄra uppdrag. Deer Lake Àr en av de frÀmsta sjöarna i Minnesota, som ofta nÀmns i resor och fritid. Ofta kallade sjön för att Àndra fÀrger, mineralinnehÄllet i det kristallblÄ vattnet Àndrar fÀrger under dagen Àr en av de mÄnga unika sakerna med denna underbara sjö! Stor badstrand och en docka gjord av underhÄllsfri material sÄ att du inte fÄr splinters.

VÄr stuga Àr dekorerad med skandinavisk pÄverkan och allt vÄrt konstverk i kabinen Àr frÄn lokala konstnÀrer. Vi har ocksÄ ett eldstadsomrÄde, ett fint sidodÀck för sol och grilling och en annan samlingsplats under trÀden. WIFI, platt-TV för filmer (ligger pÄ loftet), kabel-tv och en sonos musikspelare i hemmet. Alla sÀngar och madrasser Àr nya i hemmet. (och mycket bekvÀmt) Deer Lake Àr ocksÄ en av de bÀsta fiskesjöarna i staten. Enkel Ätkomst till Chippewa National Forest och Soumi Trail-systemet.

Hemmet har ett stort dÀck för grillning och restauranger och ger ocksÄ en fantastisk utsikt över sjön. Det finns en gradvis sluttning till sjön (inga trappor eller trappsteg). InnehÄller ocksÄ ett eldstadsomrÄde och ett andra tillbehör, en samlingsplats i skuggan.

**** Ny utomhusbadtunna installerad 7 januari 2018. Sits 8! Perfekt för avkoppling pÄ en kylig natt eller efter snöskoter.

Great place with all that was needed

Beaatiful lake place that had all we needed. Cooked for 10 for entire week and had all cooking supplies needed. Plenty of trailer, boat and vehicle parking tha made it easy for everyone. Lake is a beautiful lake with lots of fish to catch. Was really impressed with the whole set-up and our stay. We will be back.

Relaxing winter getaway

Cabin vacation

I enjoy my stay at this beautiful this past weekend with a couple of my friends. The cabin was clean and Janelle the host had everything that we needed for our stay. The hot tub was a great feature for my friends and I. Will definitely be coming back to rent

Overpriced

This place is way overpriced for what you get. I thought it would be much nicer from the online images. There was no soap in the showers. One of the comforters on a bed was still wet. The TV was in the loft and had no good seating to view it. The couch in the family room was so used I practically was swallowed up in it. Nice place and location but overpriced!

Girls Getaway

The home is beautiful and is set on the hill of a wonderful lake. The hot tub was very clean and beds were super comfortable. The only reason I gave a 4/5 on the accuracy of the listing is that I didn’t see (or maybe just missed it) that there are many stairs to go up/down to get to the home from the car. We had one person with a broken foot (in a boot) and one person that had total reconstruction of their leg due to an accident
 stairs just made it much more difficult. But, the once in, it was fantastic!!

Great amenities and location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our girl's weekend! The hot tub with the view of the lake was one of the reasons we selected this property and it did not disappoint. The home had everything we needed for the weekend and was very cozy. The weather wasn't great, but we enjoyed our time inside. Highly recommend this property!

Fabulous time, as always! Too bad we didn't have any snow, but we still relaxed in the hot tub and enjoyed visiting downtown Grand Rapids for dinner.

Perfect Multi-family Destination

Two families chose this Deer Lake cabin for a weekend hockey tournament retreat. The set up was perfect, everyone had their space and the comforts of home were appreciated.

Great family getaway

We loved our stay! It was the perfect place for our family ranging from toddler to grandparent. The cabin itself was beautiful. The lake is so crystal clear and even more blue in person- pictures don’t do it justice. Janelle was an amazing host and helped connect us to a great boat rental. Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful Lake Property

Gathered my family of adult children here for a funeral in Deer River. Wanted a place for immediate family and close friends to be together. Was excellent for that purpose. Great kitchen for cooking. Wonderful open space for people to enjoy conversation, food and fun. We stayed at the end of October - and were treated to a snowstorm. The fireplace made things cozy.

Christmas Staycation

Our stay at this cabin was very comfortable. We had 5 adults with still one extra queen bed and one or two twin beds available. Kitchen was fully stocked with all cooking/baking utensils, cookware and small appliances. Don't forget coffee! The Keurig was in use every morning! Very nice Whirlpool kitchen appliances: fridge, range, microwave and dishwasher. All appliances were very clean. Kitchen window looks out over Deer Lake. Beautiful view in any season. The living spaces were cozy and comfortable. The upper level loft area with a 52" TV was a fun spot to watch movies and football. Or to cozy up and read your favorite book. There were lots of board games and decks of cards available to play. Both bathrooms were also clean and stocked with towels. All faucets and showers worked well. We stayed here in December and still the hot tub was ready for use. Although, we did not use it. There is a nice size laundry room with a sink and washer and dryer available. During the summer the wrap around deck leading to the hot tub and firepit (split wood is on site) would be a great gathering spot to enjoy the view of the lake. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. This property is on a dead-end road, not at the end but about a quarter mile from the end. There are several steps with hand rails leading down to the cabin from the parking area. I would definitely recommend this property! Owners were always available for questions.

Very Nice Getaway

Great location on the lake. Close enough to town to run errands if needed. Loved the layout of the cabin, great fireplace and firepit. Modern appliances and fantastic table for playing games.

Great cabin

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was beautiful, comfortable, well-stocked. The highlight (and selling point for us) were the kayaks, paddle boat and hot tub. We stayed during cold October weekend, it snowed for one day- but kayaking and relaxing in the hot tub was perfect in that weather.

Awesome Cabin on the Lake.

Stayed here for a friends annual fishing trip. Our best cabin rental so far. Excellent fishing and accommodations. Pontoon rental was very convenient with the boat being delivered right to the dock. Kayak and paddle boats from the dock caught even more fish. Fire pit and hot tub also. Entire group said they would stay here again.

Beautiful Home with lots of space and things to do

We absolutely loved this cabin. It has sparked out want to own a place of our own, just like this someday soon. The beds are super comfortable, lots of things to do
kayaking, boating, swimming, fishing, hot tub, games and more. The owner/property manager were very attentive and helpful. Couldn’t have asked for a better time !

Lake life perfection!

This home and lake met all my criteria. The most perfect location on the lake
 a shallow bay to avoid the heavy traffic of speed boats. Surrounded by woodlands with minimal lawn to avoid the look of town life. A reed free swim off the dock with a raft, such a treat. Kayaking was so dreaming. Kids fished off dock and they were kept very busy. Groceries and restaurants were 20 minutes away. The house had such charm, beds were comfy. The extra large table with views of the beautiful lake was used for many puzzles. Grilling breakfast outside was so fun! This vacation was one if my favorites in Minnesota for sure.

I grew up in Grand Rapids and have always loved coming "Up North" We bought the cabin in 2015 to have a getaway from our busy work schedules and to spend time with our children so they can see how we grew up!

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

We chose Deer Lake because it is a slower pace then a lot of the Lakes in Itasca County. We also loved the calming blue waters and easy access to the Chippewa National Forest. We call Deer Lake the "Caribbean of The North." It truly is one of cleanest lakes in the State! Stay at our cabin a week to see why this cabin and Lake are so special ! Another interesting tidbit--- I grew up on Lake Pokegama, but chose to Purchase on Deer Lake simply because I feel like it's a better lake. It's not a party lake by any means ( unlike Pokeg) but it's the perfect Lake to take your family and show them an amazing time. :)

My husband and I spent our honeymoon in Norway and Sweden at Lake Cottages for a few weeks. I have always wanted a nordic feel for my cabin and I feel with my re-desiging certain elements, and remodeling the entire cabin, I have achieved my vision for the perfect Scandinavian looking Lake Home!I White washed walls, planked floors in a washed- out muted grey, faux fur throws, combined with pops of color give this cabin a cozy modern feel.
