Beautiful Quiet Location

My family was visiting Williamsburg & Busch Gardens for the weekend, and this location was perfect. It was a quick 20-30 minute ride from Williamsburg, but we didn't mind because of how relaxing the home was. We woke up to a beautiful water view each dayto enjoy our morning coffe to. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. We will be back!

The only thing I was not happy with the upstairs bed it was too low! My husband and I are 74 and it was hard to get out of!! But besides that it was great!!!

Fabulous getaway

Thank you for helping us to make wonderful memories as we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. The entire process for renting this property was very easy. Beautiful location and house. Easy access to Williamsburg and other attractions.

Peaceful and relaxing

Nice place

Great place ,spotlessly clean , and well stocked kitchen. Nicely decorated with Nautical items. Living room area up stairs was nice. There is one of the wooden blinds by the couch that has a broken slate on one end , and one kitchen chair that needs the screws tightened up. All the reviews say the fishing is great, but with three of our group fishing using nine difference baits, plus lures, fishing on bottom, top and in between none of us got anything to bite except blue crabs, caught several of them. We did have tropical storm Ophelia going on which may have affected the fishing. All in all a great place to vacation.

You will love it!

Super clean house, everything you need in kitchen, TP and paper towels and bath towels are included. Charcoal and grill was there too. We did not catch many fish for some reason but the place was so beautiful. We got ice cream in town at the Lazy Cow, very cute place. If I had suggest any upgrades, I'd say some chairs on dock and a firepit for smore's!

Fantastic!

My husband and I loved both the house and the gorgeous location right on the river! We were in West Point for a family wedding so didn’t have time to make full use of all the house’s amenities but would definitely recommend it to others - can easily accommodate a large family.

Very Relaxing!

It was a great place to just get away! The house was very cute and very clean. Pictures online did not do it justice. Very relaxing sitting on the deck watching the water. Loved the small town of West Point also, but breakfast was a bit hard to find other than fast food. However, dinners were great everywhere we ate. Lovell's, Three Rivers, and Tony & George's.

Fishing fun!

The pictures of the inside look a little dark and do not accurately represent the place; its bright and charming. It is an older place so it creeks etc.. We could not have been happier. I was sold when I saw the dock. My teenager is obsessed with fishing and he spent every moment out there that he could. So many places have the cheapest paper towels possible.. they had GREAT paper towels and had plenty of them; its small but shows the level of care for the small things. Thanks for helping make the trip a success!

First time in West Point

Visited in July so the weather was very hot but residence was cute and comfortable. Very nicely decorated, clean and perfect for our needs. The location is absolutely amazing! The place is very well stocked. My friends and I had a wonderful week staying at this property. My only complaints were the lack of blankets and it was impossible to sleep on the sofas. So this house is only for couples. But we really loved the place thank you !

Wonderful place to celebrate our anniversary! My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. Very clean and well stocked, enjoyed the quiet, peaceful views of the water, many things to do nearby. Would highly recommend!

Great spot, heads up

We keep coming back as we love the location and the pier. House is clean and has most basic items. We were told there was charcoal and grill which were both hidden for some reason and there wasn't enough to. actually make grill when we arrived. The fishing pier is awesome and has a sink, unfortunately, it doesn't work with multiple pipes leaking so would be great if it was upkept. Overall, great place with very responsive owner/manager but could use attention to some details.

Wished the Weather Cooperated

We stayed here for several days, unfortunately the weather was bad and the fish weren't biting. Fortunately the property and the view was far better than we had imagined. We are going to come back and hopefully we won't get rained on and the fish agree the bait is irresistible!

Wonderful on the Water

We had a wonderful time. The home is lovely and well stocked. It is much brighter than the photos with lots of natural light. We enjoyed the deck and the pier, as well as some of the local shops and the Lazy Cow ice cream parlor. We enjoyed the river view, fishing and crabbing.
