Lyxig bondgård i Dordogne Valley, stor privat uppvärmd pool, fantastisk utsikt

Le Bousquet ligger i byn Lostanges, där solen lyser varmt under sommarmånaderna. Le Bousquet är sympatiskt restaurerad men behåller sin ursprungliga charm och har moderna bekvämligheter, ett nytt saltvattensystem 10x4 meter uppvärmd pool, stort upphöjd däck, fantastisk utsikt och integritet. Det finns två sovrum, alla med eget badrum / duschrum. Ett sovrum med dubbelsäng och andra sovrum med 3 enkelsängar, (de två singlarna omvandlas till en dubbel). Allt linne och handdukar, inklusive poolhanddukar, tillhandahålls. Köket är helt nytt och har diskmaskin, arbetsyta på ön, kyl / frys, mikrovågsugn / varmluftsugn. En gasgrill finns också.
En ny platt-TV med satellitmottagning (brittisk tv) och DVD-spelare finns. Det finns internet med WiFi (ca 5meg) ingår också. Tvättmöjligheterna inkluderar en tvättmaskin och torktumlare.
Le Bousquet ligger halvvägs mellan de två historiska marknadsstäderna Beaulieu sur Dordogne och Meyssac. Båda städerna erbjuder många alternativ för shopping och ha marknadsdagar där det bästa av lokala produkter är till salu. Brice la Gaillarde ligger 25 km bort och har en flygplats med service till London City och Paris Orly Airports. Biluthyrning finns på flygplatsen och det rekommenderas att du bokar detta i förväg. Tågtrafik till Brive är direkt från Paris Austerlitz med biluthyrning på stationen.
Le Bousquet är en unik egenskap. Det har långtgående utsikt från däck, moderna bekvämligheter i rustik miljö. 10x4 saltvattensystempool och framför allt integritet. Det finns inga nära grannar, men det är inte isolerat. Alla rum ligger på en nivå så det är också bekvämt för familjer med små barn eller äldre, men tillgången till poolen från däck är via en trappa och kanske inte passar småbarn eller ostadiga människor. Alla rum är generösa storlekar.
Kajakpaddling på floden Dordogne, cykling, besök i de förhistoriska grottorna i Pech Merle eller Lascaux, medeltida städer Collonges la Rouge, Turenne och Curemonte, Casteau Castelnau är bara några av de aktiviteter du kan upptäcka i denna vackra region.

Malgré une météo capricieuse et donc une utilisation limitée de la piscine, cet hébergement est idyllique : immense salon, salle vidéo, 2 terrasses, 2 cuisines, 3 salles de bains, 5WC, literie de qualité....le tout excellement équipé.Tout est réuni pour passer un séjour de rêve !

Amazing

We had an amazing 2 weeks and the weather to match. The property was the best we have ever stayed at - everything you could think of was there - even a pestle and mortar. The pool was fantastic. There is so much space at the house and it is set in lovely countryside. The river canoe trip was super.

Fantastic view in an excellent location

We had a great holiday and enjoyed the perfect location, close to Collonge-la-rouge, the magnificent view and the heated swimming pool. The kids loved the house, there is a lot of space and games. We also enjoyed the fully equipped house, the nice decoration and the binder full of practical information.

We will be back!

We have not been to this part of France before and we truly fell in love from day 1 and Le Bousquet was the perfect base. The property was exactly what we were looking for to relax and get away from the London craziness. The views! The property was also perfect for our little Welsh Terrier - he had the best time living his farm dog dream. We will definitely be back.

Excellent place to be-marvelous!!!

We spent a perfect week in this nice house, with a fantastic view and a beautiful surrounding. The house with the pool is perfect for a familiy with children, everything you need is there. We felt absolutely comfortable and loved to have dinner outside. The house has many places to sit outside and also inside it is very cosy. The countryside with its many villages and little towns is absolutely worth to visit…we would have loved to stay there any longer…we would like to come back!!!

Très bel endroit et agréable maison

Merci à Karen pour sa disponibilité, toujours très reactive pour nous répondre. Très belle région, la maison est au calme et très agréable à vivre. Des petites attentions très sympathiques comme les serviettes pour la piscine. Il y a un intermarche à beaulieu sur dordogne parfait pour les courses. Beaucoup de villages autour pour se promener . Nous reviendrons.

Excellent séjour

Nous venons de passer une semaine de très bonnes vacances, un temps superbe, un environnement magique, la région est vraiment très belle et les habitants très accueillants. La location était conforme à l'annonce, tout est pensé pour que l'on passe un excellent séjour, il ne manque vraiment rien, maison très confortable. Je recommande !

Maison à la campagne pour un séjour calme et agréable

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans la maison de Steve et Karen. La maison est conforme aux photos et mélange le caractère de l'ancien avec le confort du moderne. La maison est très bien équipée, tout est pensé pour que vous ne manquiez de rien. Le coin est très calme et reposant. La vue de la terrasse en hauteur est magnifique. La piscine chauffée est vraiment un énorme plus. Je recommande la maison de Steve et Karen si vous cherchez un hébergement en Corrèze ou à la frontière du Lot. (En plus, ils ont tout un classeur rempli d'idées si vous ne savez pas quoi faire dans le coin !!!)

Une excellente semaine

Excellent séjour chez Karen. Tout était réuni pour passer une très bonne semaine, aussi bien au niveau du logement lui même que de sa localisation. La région est magnifique, au coeur des plus beaux villages de France et les sorties et activités avec les enfants nombreuses. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la piscine chauffée, la terrasse avec vue imprenable et toutes les délicates attentions de nos hôtes (carnet de bord détaillé avec balades et lieux à visiter, draps et serviettes à disposition, même pour la piscine) Nous recommandons et reviendrons sans hésiter.

A practical gite in a beautiful location

We spent two lovely weeks here. The gite is very practical and mostly on one level apart from stairs down to the pool. The kitchens and bathrooms have recently been refitted and the showers in particular are really good. The pool is lovely with plenty of loungers. Jessica and Steve are both very responsive to any queries we had but were also very respectful of our privacy . We would highly recommend this place if you are looking to get away from everything but with a relatively easy drive to all amenities.

The most amazing pool and views over the French countryside!

Thank you Jessica and Steve for producing such a beautifully rustic, yet very comfortable property. The views and sunsets are simply breathtaking making it very difficult to drag ourselves away from the very large and warm pool!! Surrounded by Pretty villages all within 15 min drive.

The perfect place to get away from it all!

Jessica and Steve's property is set up a country lane just outside the village of Lostanges. As we drove up the road we knew immediately that we had selected the perfect destination. Neighbours nearby, but completely private with open valley views from all sides. The property itself is spacious and we loved the open plan and light living, kitchen, dining space, beautifully converted with every modern convenience but with all the typical traditional features you would expect - high beam ceilings, fire surround and shutters etc. The triple aspect windows meant that the rooms felt light and bright, even on the dullest of January days. The master bed/ensuite is generous and well appointed, the bed supremely comfortable and positioned so that you can lie in and watch and listen to the nature outside. There is a second large room with two beds with a main bathroom and laundry room, not used by us but equally lovely. The terrace captures all day sun (even in winter) and we made good use of it every day, not to mention the pool which I am sure would be well used in summer! If you are a fan of walking/riding there are local trails from the door, or several GR routes in a short drive (Jessica and Steve provided an abundance of maps :-). Food/essential shopping options are a 15min drive and Meyssac had a good range of eating out places and other village services. We enjoyed exploring the villages and countryside around Collanges-la-rouge, Curmonte, Turenne, Loubressac, Martel and Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne.. We booked this holiday at the last minute as an antidote to a manic 2017.. We left feeling invigorated and fully relaxed.. We can't thank Jessica and Steve for making our stay so memorable and we look forward to returning to explore further. A special thanks to Jessica for the property information, helps and tips! ***Highly recommended!!

What a fantastic house. It retains so much of its original features but all mod cons are there.

Away from everything but close enough to top up with food and drink. Meyssac is 10 minutes away by car and has a small supermarket and lovely partisan shops. The pool is fantastic, our kids loved every second they were in there. I'm sure we will return.
