Vår plats är perfekt för par, familjer med barn och stora grupper. Detta är en rökfri stuga Denna plats har allt - bra läge för vinprovning helger, golfhelger, antikvitetshandlare - grottprovningar! Historia buffs, naturälskare och människor som söker avkoppling kommer att vara glada här. Mycket privat - ligger på 10 tunnland miljö. Peaceful Getaway!

Relaxing getaway

We spent a few days in the Shennandoah area at this cabin. The location was great for visiting Shennandoah National Park. It’s very secluded, yet close to the town of New Market. We enjoyed the hot tub after long days of hiking and the pool was relaxing as well. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare our meals. We also enjoyed all the living space-having two separate family/living rooms was perfect for our group of five. There is a short trail to a waterfall on the property-we had fun finding it! The owners were very responsive and checked on us during our stay. We felt that they really cared about us as guests. We would definitely stay again!

We always love staying at this property. We go once a year. It has everything you’d want regardless of time of year. The owners are wonderful to work with. Whether you want a quite break or want to explore the area, there is something for everyone.

Great spot to get away!

We had a lovely stay with 6 friends for a mid-week getaway. Hosts are very attentive and have thought of everything you might need. Plenty to keep a family happy and busy, or a great spot for adults to getaway. Pool, hot tub, fire pit, ping pong, foosball, grill, books, games, good hiking nearby, etc, etc. Don't hesitate to book this property for a relaxing week/weekend, or as a base to explore the area!

Graduation weekend

It was a great place to stay for the family close to JMU with a fun cabin feel. The house was rustic as shown but had a fun vibe we had everything we needed and loved the huge fireplace and the hot tub. Didn’t get a chance to explore the property or play outside much as we were busy with graduation activities but it met all our needs for cooking and sleeping and hanging out inside. It was a nice place to celebrate our daughter with family.

Beautiful quiet stay

Enjoyed the stay very much. Quiet stay in the hillside. Hot tub , fire pit , indoor fire place and a nice back deck to relax on. It was very enjoyable and we would return. The upstairs main bedroom mattress was a little hard / firm for our liking. But wasn’t a huge deal. The stay was very much enjoyable overall. Herb was a pleasure to deal with.

A Beautiful Retreat

While feeling isolated from the world, enjoying nature all around, we were still very close to town and activities. We particularly liked that the "game room" was located away from the house and provided great entertainment for all. The one draw back was no bedroom area on the main floor and many steps upstairs and downstairs to go to bedrooms. House was well stocked with everything needed and felt like a comfortable, cozy space.

New Market VA home

We enjoyed immensely our stay in Kelly and Herb's beautiful and charming home near New Market, VA. The house is large, clean, and comfortable with everything we needed in the kitchen and well-supplied with games, towels, firewood, etc. We loved the fireplace, hot tub and hiking on nearby trails. Thank you, Kelly and Herb!

Back in time

This place was amazing, Herb was great to talk to and made sure we had everything. Walking into this house took us back in time with all the memorabilia from when my wife and I grew up. Definitely be back soon!!

Beautiful vacation cabin

We had an amazing time at this cabin and wish we could have stayed longer. It is in a quiet secluded area but the town was not far to go grab groceries and other necesseties. There was lots of room for our dog to run and we really appreciated being able to bring him. Most of our time was spent outdoors. There was a pool, hot tub, grill, and a firepit. Everything was very clean. The kitchen is well equipped and had everything we needed. We have absolutely no complaints! Everything was great! Thank you Herb and Kelly!

Graduation Weekend to Cherish

We really enjoyed staying at Herb and Kelly's beautiful home over the weekend of our daughter's graduation from JMU. It was closer to campus than we expected and had plenty of room for us to spread out. On Friday, we had a wonderful family dinner crafted ou the grill. On the Saturday, after graduation, it was raining and not a lot to do in Harrisonburg. We came back to the house and enjoyed the hot tub and board games. All and all a wonderful weekend was had by all. We so appreciate Herb and Kelly sharing a bit of their family with ours.

Overall relaxing, don’t go for the pool

Overall great vacation home, there are a few things to be improved. There’s no ladder to get out of the pool, so if you’re not a kid, don’t think about it. There’s family pictures and odd decor in odd places. The master suite is cluttered with toddler furniture and has a very firm mattress. Missed potential for a romantic hideaway.

An Unplugged Valentine Weekend!

As soon as we arrived, we knew it was going to be a perfect weekend. It rained most of the time we were there, but it didn't "dampen" our time. We spent a lot of time reading the old newspapers/magazines throughout the home and relaxing in the hot tub or on the lanai. The grounds are spread out enough to just walk around the property and let the puppa dogs stretch their legs. We also took to the trails a couple of days (they are only clear to a point). In the evening we settled in to a nice warm fire in the magnificent fireplace! On the last day my husband even let me beat him in a game of ping pong :) To say the hosts were amazing is a gross understatement. They stayed in touch and made us feel like old friends. Instructions and information were readily available.

Lovely Mountain Home

We really enjoyed our weekend at this fun cabin. It was quite charming and filled with interesting things. We loved the outdoor game room with the ping pong table and other yard games.
